I think he meant it as Rust manage to fool The Kagoan into invading Laria and will probably tap into the power of the ruin (He already contacted with a person who had two things he need, probably the two orphans in Laria).

I know that destruction of arcana will kill off the elves but I am just checking if Half Elf still count as High-arcana species even with human blood (Which means destruction of arcana will result their deaths).

Hmmm... So are magic users less common in the Kago people then? as more "monstrous" people (including some elf-like variants) some may think they are high-arcana people too, but if they are actually magically void or at least very low, then Rust's theory/lie may make sense.

I couldn't help but notice, that looking at each of those sentences individually all of them could be true separately, and also quite innocent. Once you string them together though, you have a message that prompts aggression. I'm probably not doing a good job explaining this so I hope someone does a better job than me.

I think Serrin is crying from Fur dying and the fact that being an elf without magic in the peakane family means you are considered useless and that she will not die if arcana is destroyed.

(This is through mainly the hope that Serrin will not die if arcana is destroyed. I mean, she's part human right? Surely that will sustain her if this were to happen.

Anyway, I think both losing her magic and Fir's death would upset Serrin, and it doesn't really matter which is worse for her because either way, it's going to be really tragic for her. I don't think she'll die, though. Her existence isn't powered by magic that much.
