And it'll come up if it's important to the story. And I did hint at it--notice how sad the courtesans in the second panel are and the wilted crops in the fifth?

Sad courtesans might work, but wilted crops speak towards him being a bad king, but not a bad person.

And then he raised taxes even higher to pay for his own hedonism while there was a famine! The situation got so bad that there was a revolution.

It doesn't matter what kind of a person you are, once you are a king, you have responsibilities. In all likelihood, they killed him to prevent future rebellions based around "removing the usurpers" and "restoring the rightful king".

And even if he somehow lived through the revolution, there would have been a succession crisis and another war once he died--likely at a young age. The king was also sterile. Besides, Elemental's right.

The only survivors of the coup were Daenary, her brother and Jorah Mormont. They went to the west to find allies in order to reclaim their kingdom; however, their morality is no worse than the backstabbing nobles back home. Reason why I called Dothrakis as Barbarian Bronies are that they are nomadic horse riders and love horses (even eating its heart is part of rites of passage).

You're exactly right, and I wanted to touch on a morally grey area while letting you fill in the gaps and draw your own conclusions. And the problem is that there are only so many red-headed nobles. The Ashblades aren't inbreeding, but that doesn't mean they can shack up with commoners either.
