Actually, so far as I know, any creator automatically gets copyright over their creative works (unless it's work you do for an employer, in which case the employer automatically gains those rights). Registration merely makes enforcement of your rights much simpler.

Sorry, I hate to be rude, but did you actually copyright this or am I mistaking the process? Because I always see people on the internet claiming they have a copyright even though I'm 99% sure you do need to apply for it officially. And I doubt that all these people are actively making a copyright for most of the things that I see that claim copyright. Sorry if you understand me as being rude, I do not mean to be offensive :(.

Not how copywrite works, no need to file, by claiming copywrite you have it unless someone disputes. Just have to pop the c symbol and year, or teh word copywrite and the year, and your name.

I mean, clearly one problem is that the straps didn't hold. But did she launch, hit the ceiling, and bounce off, or did it just rocket off of her back? In either case, it might be workable with stronger straps, assuming you don't want anything with more finesse than a really good high-jump.

Anyway... wouldn't it be easier to cast Overland Fly? I mean at minimum CL it would last for 9 hours per casting and with a Metamagic Rod of Extend (price 11k gp, which is a little less than 1/3 of a 9th level character) she could have it up for 18 hours straight.
