Ok. I think Tychon has successfully knocked Millie on her arse. He failed, but unless her Strength is really high she failed a lot worse. Depending on how you count degrees of success on opposed tests she might also take a level of fatigue. Your call on that one.

IF she is now on the ground: Tychon backs away, into the cover offered by the tank from the other gangers. Millie gets a free attack on him, at -10 for being Prone.

IF she is not on the ground: Dumdum to the face, round 2. Rolls in the spoiler.

Fun fact. Only the initial test is at -20. After that it's straight WP to see if you recover, with +30 if you aren't being shot at anymore.

Interestingly, that doesn't seem to be the way the rules want it to work. If you want it to work that way, then I suppose that makes sense, but the way they're written, you test straight WP at the end of your turn to see if you can act normally next turn (Red passed). Then, when the bout of suppressive fire unleashed by the ganger or otherwise happens, you have to test at -20 to avoid being re-pinned (Red needs to roll for this).

All this means for us is the difference between Red needing to make another roll, and possibly ending up staying unpinned, or simply remaining pinned. I suspect it's written this way due to the way initiative works. At the time Red was making that test, the ganger had not yet decided whether or not to keep suppressing. If he had done something else, the -20 would have to be retroactively un-applied. Unless I am very confused about the order of things.

    Edit 2: electric boogaloo:
I think I was confused about the order of things. Ganger's actions for this round haven't happened yet, those were for last round. So, correct me if I am wrong. I have an academic interest in this now.

1: Red is pinned. Red fails his first test to recover. Sad face.
2: Ganger does a second bout of suppressive fire. Red WOULD have to test at -20, but he is already pinned. The test can be skipped since this is a seperate instance of pinning, and instances of pinning do not stack. Success and failure mean the same thing: he's still pinned.
3: Red tests WP to recover. He passes, and is ok next turn, unless the ganger chooses to do more suppressive fire, in which case Red needs to test at -20 to avoid becoming pinned again.

EDIT: Checking the rules: Red tests at the end of his turn to recover from the pinning brought about by the first round of suppressive fire. No penalty. Taking the roll he already made, he has passed this.

The ganger's turn then comes around, and he must immediately make a new test, this one at -20. He needs to roll this still.

I think this is what you are saying above, except that your numbered list confuses me. The order of events should be:

    1. Ganger unleashes first burst of suppressive fire. Red fails test to resist pinning.
    2. Red's turn comes around. He is pinned, thanks to the failed test; at the end of his turn, he tests unmodified WP to break out of it. Using the roll he made, this is a pass.
    3. The ganger unleashes the second burst of suppressive fire. Red must now test again to resist pinning, at -20 as before.

Sorry for any confusion; I was posting very late last night.

    EDIT:
Looks like Red was not re-pinned and has a second half action to complete this round, thanks to Rapid Reload.
Again: Is there a clear line of sight on Suppressive Fire Ganger? I wouldn't think so, but LCP'S arc of suppressive fire says otherwise.

I was worried more about the non see-through, light grey storage tank.
Rolls for Another Half Action: Called Shot to body Part Not In Cover (Arm? If the head is exposed, I suppose I'll shoot that, what, with it normally having less armour and all.)
Target (Slightly) less than 40m away + Red Dot sight + No Longer Pinned= one negated Called Shot Penalty.
    BS51 - (1d100)[68]
    Damage - (1d10+5)[6]

Will update the IC post to reflect this new set of actions.

    EDIT:
Awww, looks like I missed again.
And an uncalled shot would have likely hit cover, anyway.

Guess who has two thumbs and completely forgot to spend granted exp? This guy!

310 exp to spend, dropping 300 on Blade Dancer and Blademaster (the former is a Black Crusade talent, approved as a 100 exp elite advance back in The Ragged Edge OOC thread; it drops the dual wield penalty by 10 when wielding two bladed weapons).

Also, Roll to see if Nova broke out of pinning at the end of her last round (since I only checked against initial pinning): (1d100)[50] vs. 40 (40 base willpower with no modifier)

Test to avoid second set of pinning if that first roll succeeded: (1d100)[8] vs. 20 (40 base willpower, -20 because pinning tests are a pain in the ass)

And if THAT fails, test to break pinning at the end of Nova's current turn: (1d100)[40] vs. 40

The above will determine what Nova does this turn.

I guess I should roll location for that knockdown damage: (1d100)[7] - head.

Millie's free swipe hits, so Tychon needs a dodge roll: (1d100)[20]

Millie then Stands and takes a standard attack against Nova:
    (1d100)[52] - miss
    Dodge - (1d100)[78]
    (1d5)[3], (1d5)[5]

Spider-ganger does whatever a spider-ganger does tries to web Tauron.

    (1d100)[68] - miss
    Dodge - (1d100)[31] (untrained, I think?)
    Snare_Ag - (1d100)[11]

The southernmost ganger aims and fires on Nova, since if he hits Millie she's going to get a fair bit of cover from the tank anyhow.

    (1d100)[40] - miss
    (1d10+3)[8]

Suppressive Fire Ganger ducks back behind total cover, and begins pre-emptively reloading.

As long as the ganger doesn't engage Tauron and you end up exploding the cleric's head.

On another note, I like to imagine that all Etcetera's little OOC comments after dice rolls are actually Jericus muttering to himself.

Apologies, LCP, shall write up now. I think I neglected to mention it here, but my girlfriend was visiting for the last two weekends and my time was somewhat occupied.
I do LP's sometimes! I'm currently playing Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and XCOM: Enemy Within

    You might've - I am a forgetful sod.

    ANYWAY

Both of Nova’s hits hit the body. The first does a +4 crit, the second does a +10.

I’m... I’m sorry, goblinpaladin. I thought she would dodge things...

This does mean it’s time for my favourite critical, though – the slip’n’slide. I’ll mark it on the map; anyone trying to move through it has to take an Ag test or fall over.

Spider-ganger switches to his autogun, and takes a single shot at Tauron: point blank, I believe.

    (1d100)[67] - still a miss.
    Dodge - (1d100)[50]
    (1d10+3)[8]

He then takes a +9 crit to the head from Jericus’ autogun shot. He dead; Tauron must take an Ag test or take a -10% penalty to WS and BS for one turn from getting bits of brain in his face.

The ganger under the bendy pipes fires at full auto on Red. Red has 16 AP of cover on his head, body and left limbs.

    (1d100)[23] - 4 hits
    Dodge - (1d100)[60] - not reduced.
    (1d10+3)[7], (1d10+3)[8], (1d10+3)[9], (1d10+3)[12]...

Hits go head, head, arm, body. Unless it's the right arm, they're all soaked.

The last ganger thinks this is a good time to run like the wind, and does so.

AND SOME NEW GUYS SHOW UP

    Initiative:

    #1 - (1d10+4)[12]
    #2 - (1d10+3)[4]

Is it the right arm? A 1 means yes.
    (1d2)[2]

    Nope.
