    Grimble grits his teeth through the pain in his arms and ribs, and looks at Byuckyuk. Realizing that he doesn't have many options left, he turns to Han with a hateful glare.

    "Boss sent us here. But humans told Boss about Cliffside. Humans and... something else." Grimble coughs up a little blood and wipes it off his chin.

    The hot sun rises high overhead. Li lies listlessly on the earthen ground, resting his head at the foot of the well. Necahual stands resolute... saying nothing in her defense.

    The heat of the day makes the stench of rotting corpses overpowering.

    Vir-Sashi listens to everything goblins has to say. He is still shaken about all that just happened. Deep in his heart he swears to himself to never let this happen again. He isn't angry at either Li or Necahual, he understands their motives were noble, even is he disagrees with their methods. True friend of justice won't bbandond people only because they did wrong. He will prove to be an example. Better than he was today. He should have talked it over with Li, then none of that would have happened. He will strike to be better than before, so no more blood will be on hands of his friends.

    Grimble struggles to produce the words as his brow furrows deep with consternation. "Looked human, but not human. Very scary, but looked human. It looks at you and you are... afraid. Bad magic." He shakes his head like he's trying to shake his own brain loose. Then, with better focus, he looks back up at Han.

    "All were dressed for battle. But not bad magic man. Bad magic man don't need armor or swords."

    Byuckyuck makes a religious gesture when Gimble mentions the "bad magic man" and nods his head in agreement. "Bad magic man. Him did it. Him lied and telled us free loot at Cliffside. Him telled Boss."

    Tilmek, still reeling from the nights events, is mostly silent. At the mention of the "bad magic man" he speaks up gently. "Did the magic man have a book with him? and did he have a bag that he pulled thing from to make magic happen?"

    Li looks to the goblin carefully for a moment. Bad magic man. No book, no spell component pouch. This didn't sound fun.
    What kind of magic did he do? Did he throw balls of fire and arcs of lightning? Did he control people, summon beasts, hide things in images that weren't really there? Would your Boss fight against him if others helped?

    "Fight?" For the first time, Grimble wheezes out a laugh in spite of the pain to his rigs. It starts out dark and cynical, then breaks into a blood splattering cough. "No fight the bad magic man. Not with whole tribe. Bad magic man... no word in Common." Grimble struggles again, with the words.

    "Evil." Byuckyuck offers. Grimble shrugs, not happy with the word, but not able to do better.

    "Strong, but not look strong. Cruel but not look cruel. Heavy step, but not look heavy. Eyes that slam. Words that speak inside. Grimble's blood burn when see bad magic man. Grimble's ears go... drown... maan mal ac okhaaregaan aguul." Grimble gnashes his teeth in frustration.

    Byuckyuck chimes in, "Maan dan'd dhuul den drelkaakec!"

    Grimble nods in response, "Kelaan a draalkuuc dhuul Rhakhuur, or tuulkaakhec."

    They both nod their agreement eagerly and look to Li, Tilmek and Han and nod, as if what they'd just said explained everything perfectly.

    Li shakes his head. He wanted to hit them, but giving his nap, decided against it.
    Why...oh why do I get a strong feeling that this thing is masquerading as a human. We won't know for sure what it is unless one of us learns goblin...or we deck it in the face enough to force it to show its true form. I am a fan for the latter idea. I owe it a headache and a sore jaw after this little trip.

    His words an obvious sting to the blows he recieved to save the goblin. On a bright side, atleast his anger is redirected to a more noble cause than sucker punching his team mates.

    Han Chun Li bows to Grimble: Thank you for the information. He then turns to the others: I think we should investigate this further and report to the abbey as soon as possible. The Masters will know what to do about this.

    Byuckyuck and Gimble look to Necahual, then to Han, then to Li, looking a bit uneasy about the proposition of going to a monastery.

    Grimble slumps back to the ground... obviously feeling defeated. Byuckyucks eyes narrow, and he glares angrily at Necahual, but due to his injuries, does nothing.

    "Keep in mind that they are wounded." Vir-Sashi says. "W cannot leave them here, we did this to them, so they're our responsibility." Something in Vir-Sashi's tone make "we" and "our" sounds more like "I" and "mine".

    POSTING FOR NECAHUAL AND COANACOCH:
    Coanacoch, sets her jaw, "Necahual and I will take the goblins back to the monastery. The libraries there may help us understand our enemy better."

    Necahual agrees, "Whatever did this is strong, numerous, and organized. I'm surprised the monastery didn't know about it. Be careful, though. If they can elude the eyes of the temple, then you can add cunning and stealthy to their accolades. We should arrive home late tomorrow. Send the pigeon when you make camp at dinner three days from now. Surely, we'll have something for you by then."

    Necuhual and Coanacoch say their farewells and strap the wounded goblins to the pony. Within an hour, they head out of Cliffside, back towards the monastery.

    Li lets out a soft breath as the others depart. He then turns and sets off about the village searching for clues about their enemy and possible tactics that were used as well as useable supplies.
