The javelin comes down through Coanoch's lower gut and iliac crest and out his rear end. It is obvious that in one blow the exotic young man from the Amedio Jungle cannot last another blow. He looks to Ur-Agal, his body quivering and shaking from pain, "When you see the fey, enjoy their jokes, give them gifts, and don't show aggression."

In his pain, he simply tries to fend off any further attack.

The Alaghi can't bring his second weapon, a crude wood-and-stone dagger, up in time to brace against Li's ferocious onslaught. As Li bares down on him, the Alaghi's hungry cackling turns into a snarl of rage as he pushes back against Li... but the struggle is short, and the Alaghi crumbles like a house of cards.

    Alaghi 2:
Dashes into the woods and leaps into the air, to disappear within its branches.
    Move: From Q8 to T8
    Jump (DC 12): (1d20+4)[22]
    Climb (DC 15): (1d20+4)[21]
    Hide: (1d20+8)[24]

    Alaghi 3:
Stalks up to the grappling pair and hoists his hand axe high into the air, bringing it slamming down towards Li's left shoulder.
    Move: From AB14 to X11
Power Attack (vs. AC 17): (1d20+5)[14]
    Damage: (1d6+8)[13]

Then follows up with a vicious punch to the jaw...
Power Attack (vs. AC 17): (1d20)[18]
    Damage: (1d3+6)[8]

    Posting As Tilmek:
"LI!" he shouts as Alaghi 3 slashes down with his ax. Tilmek skirts around the grappling pair and leaps into the air and vanishes, reappearing 5 feet higher up the tree, then kicks off its trunk plummeting towards Alaghi 3 with a spearlike fist towards the base of the Alaghi's neck.

    Move (Run): X7 to Y9
    Jump (DC 5) Out: (1d20+1)[21] (To Y10)
Swift Action: Anklet of Translocation (MIC pg. 71)

Li feels the blade slice into his shoulder deeply and a primal yell escapes him only to be cut short by the blow to his face. He spits out a good mouthfull of blood as the Alaghi he is holding surges up to try for freedom. "Stay Down!" His muscles tense and keep the Alaghi pinned.

This wasn't good. They were injured pretty badly and these beasts weren't going to let up. They had barely made noticeable dents in these beasts. They needed a plan of attack, and currently they didn't have it.

Li realized how bad this was. He released the Alaghi he was fighting using the beasts resistance to act as a boost to send himself spiraling away from it. His blood flowing freely across the ground as he rolled to the back of the group. His body rose as one of the jewels on his belt faded from pearly white to dull black. His wound beginning to close as he looked down to Coanoch. "No Dying on us today you hear me?"

In a stern voice he bellowed out, Fall back and regroup around my position! Ur Agal lay down cover fire, Tilmek and Vir hold them off so we can get Coanoch treatment!" He may not be a leader, but he would be damned if he saw any of them die here today...that much was certain!

Struggling as he is with Vir-Sashi's frenzied attacks, Alaghi 1 can't twist around to deflect Coanacoch's flutter of jabs as two swift punches connect Alaghi 1's side, and you hear the faint snapping sound of a caved in rib.

In a powerful rush, Li bolts past the tangled mess of teeth, claws and fur. His outstretched arm connects, gagging Alaghi 3 and leaving him choking and straining for air. His tongue lolls and drool is oozing from his open mouth. But with a powerful cough and a splash of phlegm, Alaghi 3 finally recovers enough to continue the fight.

    Alaghi 2:
From somewhere in the underbrush, you hear a stirring and two javelins come whistling through the air towards Tilmek.

    Move Action: Stand
Attack Roll Result 1 (vs. FFAC 14): 15

The first javelin thuds into Tilmek's thigh, but he still manages to swat away the second javelin just before it reached his heart. Tilmek grits his teeth through the pain while he pries the javelin from the wound. Blood trickles from the hole. With no time to bind the wound, Tilmek tests his leg by putting a little pressure on it. Sparks of pain explode in his head, but he can stand. Alaghi 2 cheers out something in Sylvan.

Alaghi 2 is not longer hidden, but he does have concealment. Attacks made against him have a miss chance of 20%.

    Alaghi 3:
Collapses with Li's attack, and returns a savage jab to Li's nose

    Opposed Grapple Attack: 29
    Damage Result +5: 9

    Tilmek:
Tilmek rushes in to help Vir-Sashi finish his grappled opponent before the other Alaghis have a chance to close in. Focusing all his effort into one devastating attack, he leaps in, striking arm back, and unloads an open palm attack like a missile, directly to the nose...

    Move: From Y8 to Y9
    Attack Roll Result: Threat
    Confirm Crit Result: 21
    Damage Result: 5+2 = 7

Alaghi 1's nose crumples and snaps under the pressure, and several teeth fly loose from his mouth. His eyes water from the pain and widen from fear as he struggles against the vicious onslaught.

Struggling as he is with Li's titanic grip, Alaghi 3 is unable to resist Vir-Sashi's furious assault. Claws and teeth rip into his face and neck, leaving waterfalls of blood to trickle from his fur and splash onto the ground. Alaghi 3 shrieks in horror and pain.

    Ur-Agal:
After seeing Coanacoch take a fall, he rushes to his side and drops to one knee. He opens his pouch and produces a small vial full of reddish liquid. And props Coanacoch's mouth open. "Come on, come on..." he mumbles to Coanacoch as Tilmek does his best to distract Alaghi 2.

Alaghi 3's eyes bulge as Li strains the monsters neck beyond its natural range. Then, with a horrifying snapping sound, the creature goes into spinal shock and goes limp... limbs sliding away from the grapple to thud onto the grass below.

Alaghi 3 swings high, deflecting Vir-Sashi's initial attack, but receives a vicious bite to the forearm for his trouble. Howling in outrage, he attempts to grab Vir-Sashi's head and peel the Broodguard off of his arm, but is intercepted by a savage strike with thick, dark claws. Alaghi 3 calls out something in Sylvan and there seems to be a tinge of fear and concern in his voice.

    Ur-Agal:
Ur-Agal looks from Coanacoch to Tilmek... no time, no time!

He drops his crossbow, and in one fluid motion, springs to a stand, draws his sickle and uses his upward momentum to drive his weapon into the creatures groin, slamming it home in time to receive a slap to the ribs from the side of the Alaghi's javelin. The slap is just enough to throw Ur-Agal off balance before his can reverse his attack. The sickle arcs low, and swings out in a semi-circle, flying wide of the shoulder Ur-Agal was aiming for.
