Nude Week (April 15-21)!

Since the original maker of my avvie doesn't want to seem to do it, can someone please make a nude version of my avvie? Probably covering herself with a towel and blushing furiously.

Although, actually (and sorry to ask more), could you maybe move the hands up (to cover the body instead)? As it is, given where the hands are and how there are all of these nude 'tars, it gives... slightly different connotations.

Though, small nitpick, which is completely and totally my fault, the wings are supposed to completely cover the strings, so that the harpist has to work by touch. Of course, she could teaching Erin to play; the wings fold back for that purpose. And, even with that small disconnect, it's still a wonderful piece.

I was guessing that from the description, but when I tried to do it, I found it looked awkward and you couldn't tell what she was doing, so I took artistic liberties I can try to make them cover more, if you want.

That would be great, if you're up for it. If not, it still looks quite nice this way. :smalldelighted:

No clue if this would help, but maybe having the wings folded the opposite direction, sort of like bat wings that are half-closed, would make it look less awkward?

Bleh, it's alright. My computer crashed as I was working on Lix's request and I just finished redo-ing it. I hadn't even started on C'nor's. Yours looks nice.

And here's a cropped avatar-size, but it looks like the resize ruined the text. I'll have to give that another go.

Lix, what do you think? I don't think you can tell it's nude as much as Savannah's. Anything I could add/change?

Fun fun. If anyone wants to take a crack at a declothed version of the character in my avatar (ROSETTA STONE, aspiring archaeologist and historian!) it'd be welcome! Pose is up to you, but she should probably seem embarrassed/angry/annoyed/flustered/generally indignant at her sudden lack of attire, or else unaware of observation. Well, or I could just switch back to her original pony self, but that seems the cheap way out.

I still can't seem to come up with something that works...everything I've tried makes it look like she's groping a dragon with ridiculously oversized wings, which probably isn't the look you're going for. Sorry I can't seem to figure it out

That's a funny mental image, but yes, not what I'm going for.

Much of the issue is probably that this was originally a lap-harp that she carries on her belt, so the wings are really only normally large enough to fit her hands into, but that, naturally, doesn't work for this because it has to cover her.

And don't worry about it. I can't really come up with a way for the design to work at the scale it has to be for this either, even in my head, and you still made a great avatar.

Edit:

Also, a bit of it could be that the head of the dragon is usually right at the top of the vertical piece, which is sculpted to form both the head and neck and doesn't have quite as extreme an angle, while the tail is coiled around the base. But I don't know if any of that is possible in an avatar - or, for that matter, a harp.
