Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Guys, I have a concern.
We will not know calar's role if we kill him today. Zar's been voided, and seems to believe that means his ability won't work (not sure about that since it is untargeted), and he isn't marked. At this point, I'd favor leaving him until tomorrow and marking him. Then we'll know if we got the Chancellor.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Day 6:
A slightly older man was dragged into the throne room. Rauchsten sat at the throne, watching carefully. “How do you plead?” The man only shook his head. He was balding slightly, and had a paunch. He wore an adamant expression on his face. Rauchsten remained cool, shaking his head. “You will not say anything? Give us something. Anything. Lie to me. Come along, you can speak, can you not?” The man only shook his head, more and more. The Marauder quickly grew sick of the act, and nodded to his Silent bodyguard. The bodyguard nodded, and grabbed the man, dragging him slowly out of the room, grinning cruelly.
Rauchsten eyed the hallway almost contemptuously. “One silent man here is more than enough.” He looked towards the Necromancer, who was staying in the chamber where Rauchsten himself had once sat. “Tell me, Necromancer. Who was that man?”
The Necromancer shook his head. “I… I am not sure. I couldn’t get a clear read on him… The signs were not with me today.”
Rauchsten cleaned the dirt from under his fingernails with his knife. “Shame. Would’ve been nice to know who was so willing to defy me.” He shook his head. “Oh, well. With the Rogue gone, there isn’t much for the rebels to do, now is there? Now we just sit back and wait for them to give in.”
Spoilercalar was lynched.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Night 6:
A man sat in the highest tower in the castle, alone in his chamber, surrounded by mirrors. He saw the others through the castle, one by one, watching them go through their various routines as if nothing had happened. He finally settled on the silent bodyguard, eyeing him carefully. “I can only hope that this will aid him in what is to come…”
The old man once again stalked into the night. This time he was intent on his target. He could only hope that the man was not as well protected as he thought he would be. He shrugged, and crept into the castle once again. Straight to the man’s chambers. It would be all so easy, all so easy… The man was alone when he found him. He grinned, then tossed a blade at the man. It stuck straight into his side, and he groaned in pain. The larger man came tearing at the older man, grabbing up a chair, intent on crashing it on the man’s head. The older man easily dodged the improvised weapon, slashing at the man in his passing. The man roared, grabbing at the gash in his side. He grabbed blindly at the older man, tearing a cabinet from the wall and tossing it at the older man. The older man ducked to avoid the shelves, then tripped the larger man as he came past. The gargantuan man crashed to the floor, and the older man grinned. He raised his sword to finish him off, when suddenly a light flashed and the man found himself in a familiar cave with the woman and her pot. She only glanced up at him, shaking her head and stirring her pot. The man blinked, confused. Had he been paying close attention, he would have noticed the mirror on the woman’s table shimmering mysteriously.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Well I guess we can wait a day and lynch someone else in the meantime. Pirate Monk's post implies that he wasn't disguised so it seems pretty a pretty safe bet that Rune's evil. Lynch him tomorrow and if the Zar Peter says he was town, PM is likely a wolf (would mean Rune was disguised and PM probably would have seen it). Either way, lynching Rune tomorrow as soon as the day bane wears off is in our best interests.
Also, I think this means Rune is the spirit or was networked to them as the role scry was confirmed and I don't think there'd be extra evil roles with a role scry given how the networking works. I don't know how solidly confirmed the other abilities were but networking could explain them easily enough.Being a mime means never having to say you're sorry.

Wouldn't he just be day baned again? It's better if we find the baner, kill him first, then lynch Rune.
And unvoided today, so time for action.

I didn't bane RuneboundShade, if that's what you're asking. I don't know who would have been able to besides me. Perhaps one of my targets was redirected towards RuneboundShade.
I actually have a pretty good idea of what happened, now that I think about it. Crash Man, who did you target? I bet I know, which means we can verify you at last!

Questioning your alignment was the farthest thought actually, Sir Ebonwolf would be dead days ago if you were a wolf.
We think the best person to ask stuff of at this point is bladescape. What does the Champion do, and for what king is it done?We love plural first person personal pronouns.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I wonder if you can work it out. Which king it is done for. King implies you have a throne. There's only one king I can think of at the moment.
Also, as said, I would rather not out my abilities. In fact, outing them pretty much ruins their use.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Gray Mage
I notice Runebound has been rather quite since being accused.
With regard to him being baned again, why would the day-baner do that again? My understanding is that wolves don't get baners, so they probably targeted him yesterday for the sake of targeting someone. At this point, day baner isn't a very useful town role, after all. So tomorrow Runebound won't be baned, and we can lynch him. Better still, Zar will (hopefully) be unvoided, and Ebonwolf can mark him.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I was the one targetted by the wolves last night?
So yes, Venetian Mask, your power worked and saved my life! Yay!
Which is to say... I've been fibbing about who I've been protecting pretty much the entire game. I've said I was protecting someone while I protected a different target to basically guarantee the first target safe from harm while I tried to guess who the wolves would take down next. At this point the game is up, so all the wolves know is that I can't protect myself again without another helping of Venetian Mask's power.
Oh, I support this Gray Mage thing, but I think tonight Crash Man should try to redirect the wolf kill off someone kinda like a bane and Bookboy should try to boost Ebonwolf's scries.
Last note: &we, I didn't think you were questioning my alignment, I just thought you were questioning why I'd bane a random. And my conclusion is the second bane Bookboy gave me was redirected, confirmable when Crash Man tells us what he did last night.Gnomish Decker by me! You can find more of my work here!!!
