Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Crash, I think you should start redirecting unconfirmed people onto suspected wolves/less useful Town roles.
I know it's cruel, but some roles aren't as useful at this point, and if Crash can redirect the night kill, we can find who has it.
Anyone curious about my lack of voting: reminder that I am voided.
And I'm going to update the list.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Updating, now with a key
Italics = confirmed
Dark Green = dead
Spoiler
Grue Bait: Bodyguard (can choose each night to replace NK target, no need to choose a target)
Zar Peter: Necromancer
Ramsus: Torturer (Town role, unknown powers)
Super Dark33: Guardsman [Mason] (determined by Grave-Keeper)
Bunny of Faith: Chancellor [Wolf Mason] (determined by Necromancer)
Internet Flea: King (determined by Grave-Keeper)
Istari: Semi-random powers towards whoever he targets? Silenced Tom the Mime N2, checked Flabort as town, and agreed with Grue Bait's role claim.
Gnomish Wanderer: The Silent (baner)
TBF: claimed a neutral scry role
usourselves&we: Grave-Keeper (gets role for night kills)
The Grimmace: Masked Role Seer
Vesth: Rogue, confirmed by Zar Peter
PirateMonk: Watchman (knows what targeted a person)
RuneboundShade: Says he has three different powers (scry, void, and unknown [possibly day bane]) but scried as Wolf, Sousaphone
Venetian Mask: Forces target to repeat last night action
Bookboy: The Heretic (50% chance to boost the power of a target each night)
calar: Unknown, possibly no way of knowing
bladescape: King's Champion, hasn't said what it does
Elemental: claimed to be a late-stage scrier, current general opinion is that he was Hangman
Xanmyral: one of the King's men (gets a scry every other night) ("Real Life")
Tom the Mime: Blackguard (Lynch version of Bodyguard?)
billtodamax: Scribe (copies power from target, possibly voids target ("every computed I touch breaks" syndrome)
Matthias 2207: fool
Sir Ebonwolf: Marauder with King scry
Saposhiente: Inebriate (gets very confusing scry results with a pattern)
C'Nor: Medicine Man, has had a kill, a void, and an unknown
Gray Mage: Mason (little posting)
Supagoof: Mason (autoed)
The Crash Man: redirects abilities, unverified
chaos_redefined: Head Chef (powers unknown)
Someone please update the confirmed people, I know that is lacking.
bill, target Matthias tonight. We know he's a fool seer, so if he does get voided it isn't a loss and it would confirm your theory (or distract the wolf voider)I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

-.-
Two things: yes, it WAS made public that I was going to be scried, and YES, PM was the most creeping obvious target for a disguise last night.
I won't even bother pointing out the fact that it would be broken to give a wolf a scry ability when they weren't the spirit, but whatever, at least this will be cleared up when I die, you CAN'T disguise a mark.

Sorry, RBS, but at least if we get proof you were telling the truth we can kill PM and win it for Town potentially tomorrow. I wish I knew how many wolves were left exactly, this is the part where I just want to know how much we're winning by.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
RBS, have you actually given us scry results that can be verified and hadn't already been stated in thread? I don't believe, at the moment, that it has been proven that you have a scry.
Also, my statement about you being a wolf in contact with the Spirit could still be true.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Day 8:
The woman sat alone, stirring her pot. She watched the man in her mirror, escaping the King’s men. The older man strolled into her cavern, taking a seat opposite the mirror. He only shook his head. She knew it was done. The game was up.
The man dashed as fast as he could away from the others. He knew that the King’s men would show him no mercy. Rauchsten himself led the charge, daggers dangerously at his side. The man forced himself to move faster, then stopped. A tree had fallen, blocking the path. He turned, watching the others close in. He chuckled dangerously, then pressed two fingers to a pendant around his neck. In a moment, he was no longer a human; he was now a conniving fox. He slipped easily through a hole in the fallen tree, watching as the others struggled to get around or over it. He grinned, as well as he could, and continued running. He ducked into a hole, thinking he was safe. Suddenly, he felt a large hand grabbing at him. He looked out, and there was the King’s silent bodyguard, his face lined with malice. He reached at the fox, grabbing the shiny tail. He pulled the fox closer to him, only to suddenly be face to face with a bear. The bear slammed one massive paw into his chest, pushing him to the ground. As it lifted its paw to strike again, the bodyguard rolled along the ground to escape the claws. He leapt up, grabbing the bear’s other paw. The bear snatched at him, but he only grabbed the other paw, locking them into an intense wrestling match. The bear would lunge, then the bodyguard would strike. They traded blow after blow, until it seemed like the bodyguard would surely win. Then the bear in a last ounce of strength threw the huge man to the ground, leaping at him. The bodyguard wrapped his hands around the bear’s neck in an attempt to save himself, pressing against something cold and metallic in the process. The bear was wrapped in a green glow, and suddenly the bodyguard found his hands around a hawk. His hawk.
At the very least, it looked like his hawk. He blinked for a few moments, the bird struggling to get out of his grasp. The bodyguard’s face turned to an ugly glare, then he snapped the bird’s neck and threw it to the ground. He watched its last ragged breath, then fell to one knee and wept.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Night 8:
The mirror man had quite a time,
He shook his weary head.
He paced, and thought of old men’s crimes,
Before he took to bed.
He looked at Rauchsten’s mirror and
He thought a moment more.
“If I could save him, t’would be grand,”
Then thought on who’d done what before.
“I have it,” said he, “a simple thing,”
And eyed one mirror, wrought with age.
“This man fights, but for which king?”
Blew off the dust, and turned the page
Of an ancient tome he held,
To use his magic once again.
Visions of a man once celled,
Turning time to what was then.
Three men stood in an old graveyard,
The first’s expression rather hard.
With cloak of black and golden chain,
He muttered, wondering if sane.
The second chattered to fill the night,
He held a lantern for their light.
He felt that something wasn’t right,
Ding dong derry and the death knell tolls.
The third man stood a silent guard
Above the cold and ancient tomb.
He shook his head and spake no word,
The grave was full, there was no room.
“Once again, a man has died,
Serving King with life and pride.
The night was cold, the killer bold,
To the King his life was sold.”
“Perhaps it was his time, my friend?
He has gone to meet his end.
We all must do so, now and then.
Ding dong derry and the death knell tolls.”
The third man only eyed the ground,
Above the cold and ancient tomb.
He shook his head and spake no word,
The grave was full, there was no room.
“I feel like here I was before,
A burial, much like a chore.
I feel strange, my friend, I do.
Tell me, do you feel it to?”
“Perhaps… we are here now twice?
As if by some magician’s vice,
I just hope we aren’t here thrice,
Ding dong derry and the death knell tolls.”
The third man with his eyes like ice,
Above the cold and ancient tomb.
He shook his head and spake no word,
The grave was full, there was no room.
He laid flowers at the grave,
Above the cold and ancient tomb.
He shook his head and spake no word,
The grave was full, there was no room.
“Now we go, we see it done.
Back we go, we had our fun.
No more we speak of this foul deed,
No more the word of death we heed.”
“Perhaps, if it were all in vain,
We would return back here again.
And suffer once more through the pain,
Ding dong derry and the death knell tolls.”
SpoilerNothing happened.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Okay, so either wolf hit wolf or wolf hit bane. Everyone has claimed now, and both Rogue and Chancellor are dead.
I think suspicion now falls on people whose roles are not in the OP. This means:
Istari
&we
PirateMonk
Venetian Mask
Bookboy
Xanmyral
Tom the Mime
billtodamax
Matthias 2207
Saposhiente
The Crash Man
Of these, Gnomish can vouch for my power.
I forget who else here has been confirmed and who/what by, so please post.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I got The Crash Man as:
The Crash Man you follow around
taking a bottle with you, for a round
after the wholesome night of seeing and spying
Hocchiku, the role you determine he's doing.
Dunno why a rhyme this time and not before, probably because Ur-quan gave me the result instead of Penguinator. Anyhoo two things: One word = wolf seems likelier, and redirecting actions doesn't sound like an extremely town power, though it could be.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Scried billtodamax.
Burn the mutant, Burn the witch, burn this Heretic
The rebel king is well to be afraid of this dire tick
Istari: Could be wolf, not likely.
&we: Been a little quiet.
PirateMonk: Don't know, was a little suspicious.
Venetian Mask: Nothing.
Bookboy: Trusted.
Xanmyral: Quiet.
Tom the Mime: Don't know.
billtodamax: Heretic?
Matthias2207: Trusted
Saposhiente: Trusted, autolynch replacement.
The Crash Man: Active enough to be a wolf trying to look like a villager.
So of this list I think PirateMonk has the highest chance of being a wolf.

Pirate Monk, often doubted for reasons none,

Matthias, don't just edit the list to include yourself as trusted unless you can provide evidence from another player.
Istari: Could be wolf, not likely.

PirateMonk: Don't know, was a little suspicious.
Venetian Mask: Trusted (Gnomish/Grue Bait)

Xanmyral: Quiet.
Tom the Mime: Don't know.
billtodamax: Heretic?
Matthias2207: Trusted (no vouchers)
Saposhiente: Trusted (Pengi )

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Istari, first, can you provide evidence that you are Town? I feel like there was something early, but I can't remember.
Istari: Could be wolf, not likely.
&we: Been a little quiet.
PirateMonk: Don't know, was a little suspicious. (trusted by Istari)
Venetian Mask: Trusted (Gnomish/Grue Bait)
Bookboy: Trusted (Gnomish)
Xanmyral: Quiet.
Tom the Mime: Don't know.
billtodamax: no vouchers
Matthias2207: Trusted (no vouchers)
Saposhiente: Trusted (Pengi )
The Crash Man: Active enough to be a wolf trying to look like a villager.
There is also the other school of thought in which we are utterly screwed: Zar and Ebonwolf are wolves, with Ebonwolf being Rogue and the Necromancer having died early. But I think we've come a bit too far to save ourselves if that is true.
Pengi, it does confirm he is a role that gets a rhyming response, which means some form of scry/observation ability, most of which seem to be Town.
Matthias, you're a Fool. I'm the Heretic, claimed by name in thread.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

So I'm pretty sure my bane worked, which means the wolves(wolf?) know(s?) that I protected Sir Ebonwolf and cannot again tonight without the help of Venetian Mask. Though I'll leave that to his silent discretion that way not even I know if I'm protecting Ebonwolf or someone else.
