Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
What would happen if a 40k ork and a fallout super mutant were to cross paths? Would they fight or have respect or some other outcome?
Was playing fallout, couldn't help but think of orks when i saw the super mutants, and was just wondering.Last edited by gooddragon1; 2012-04-11 at 11:29 PM.

Re: Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
Of course they'll fight. Orks fight everything, even other orks. Especially other orks. The real question is, will the ork decide the super mutant is orky enough to pass for an ork? Super mutants feel orky enough. Maybe in some kind of bizarro crossover universe super mutants are actually prototype orks, and Space Marine power armor is an advanced version of the power armor of Fallout lore? Fallout-level tech doesn't look too far off from WH40k tech, with power armor and plasma weapons in existence if rare.

Re: Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
Is it green? Check.
Is it big? Check.
Is there anyone else for them to fight in view? That's the main question. Orks will naturally follow the biggest and greenest around, as long as there's something for them to fight, or they break in in-fighting. Either way, WWWAAAGGGHHH!!!!
Trivia, but in some senses Fallout is 40k with a 180% turn in the typical PoV. In one side the "good" guys, the brotherhood of steel, that betrayed the government, set out to carve their own path, likes to experiment with new stuff and recruits from anywhere in the wasteland that can prove their worth. Aka chaos!
In the other the "bad" guys, the Enclave, that have loyally stood to the remants of the main goverment after a big catastrophe, control a vast and rigid infrastructure, only recruit from their own "pure" population, and have a policy of exterminating the mutant, the heretic and the unclean at all costs. Aka the imperium!Last edited by maglag; 2012-04-17 at 12:41 PM.

Re: Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
The question 'would they fight' is preposterous. The concept of not fighting is horrible to an ork. Respect, sure, why not. A worthy foe can be respected.
Brewing a new setting (3.5 ed D&D). The setting is complete and ready to play.
Indeed, here is the recruitment thread for the first run.
The above post was probably snide, snippy, tongue in cheek and/or opinionated. Consult your sense of humour before vexation. If still vexed, attempt to cease giving a damn. Thank you for reading this public service bulletin.

Re: Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
Even then, you probably don't have enough.
If you had a weapon, that shot everything in the universe, no the multiverse, at everything else, at the same time, a million times a second, at speeds millions of times greater than lightspeed, for sixty years.
...Well, you'll have destroyed everything.
...
...And still won't have enuff.Last edited by Misery Esquire; 2012-04-18 at 10:19 PM.

Re: Interaction question (Wh40k and Fallout)
I'm not sure if there is any other possible outcome, other than violence. Respect may be in there too, but not from a one-on-one fight (one of them would end up dead).
Now if a mob of Orks ran into a group of Super Mutants and a right proper scrap ensued, and neither side was wiped out by the conclusion of said scrap, there may be the beginnings of a beautiful relationship...Awesome OOTS-style Fallout New Vegas avatar by Ceika.
