Adventures in The City

It is the fifth of June. The City has been buzzing with the news that last night a Governmental research building on the corner of Mongoose St. and Tenant Blvd. exploded last night. The government claims it was a gas leak, but no one believes that a gas leak could leave a perfectly round crater with no trace of there ever having been a building in the plot.

You are at your apartment on 25th and Chester. Your Chatterbox™ phone beeps with a message. It is 11 A.M.

You are taking the subway home from buying groceries. Your section is mostly empty. One fellow subway goer, dressed like a stage magician, stands up and pulls out a gun. He waves it around and shouts,"Everybody down! This car is property of The Tarot now! Drop your phones and wallets and you can live!" It is 11 A.M.

You are walking down the street, when you see your patron, The G-Man on the other side of the road. He nods at you and beckons you over. It is 11 A.M.

I answer my chatterbox if it is from my patron or the authorities. If it isn't I let it go to voice mail or what ever these things have that is the equivalent of voice mail and head on over to the gas leak sight

I head on down to 40th street. If there is only one chinese place I go into it. If there are multiple I send my patron a messages saying "which one?"
