My thoughts on the chapter

Well first up Arceus damn it. Priscilla's death is a huge blow. A She's dead, B I'm stuck with Serra as my only healer, C I can't recruit Raven, D I'm 95% certain I can't recruit Lucius either. My units were too slow in taking care of all the cavaliers that swarm from the north-west and Priscilla paid the price.

At least the game removed Erk's supports with Priscilla. That'd be a pain if Erk was down one support point. Lyn and Florina's support was going to happen, considering they only needed one turn together. Matthew is now stuck with either Guy, or Hector.

Bartre's first level up was okay. The extra skill will help him hit more often. Bartre's second level up was okay. More skill to help him hit. Since Bartre is level 5, I will evaluate him. Bartre has below average Speed, Defense, and Resistance. And above average Skill. At least he has above average something. So that puts him ahead of Hector.

Priscilla's first level up was bad. If only she got Hp, Speed, Luck, or Defense. Priscilla's second level up was okay.

Eliwood's first level up was bad. The speed is nice, but I hate 0-2 point level ups.

Florina's first level up was good. The extra skill and speed is nice. The second level up was also good. Strength is nice, Speed is nice, and the improved resistance is making Florina a mage slayer.

Serra's first level up was okay. Serra's second level was okay. But the extra magic is awesome! Since Serra has reached level 15, I will evaluate her progress so far. Serra has below average Magic, Skill, and Resistance. And has above average Speed and Defense. While I would prefer better, she is my only healer right now, and probably my only light magic user, till Renault at the earliest. I'm happy at her sheer level though. I should have her at level 20, before I even get the guiding ring

Rebecca's first level up was good. The extra speed is nice, and Rebecca needs better defenses.

Oswin's first level up was good. The extra Strength, and Resistance is helpful.

Erk's first level up was okay. Typical Erk level up. Erk's second level up sucked.

Lyn's first level up was okay. She really needed the additional skill. Since Lyn is level 10 I will judge her. Lyn has below average Strength, Skill, and Defense. Lyn's only above average stat is Hp even including the angelic robe bonus.

Lowen's first level up was okay. He's really becoming the tank cavalier.

Guy's first level up was nice. The extra strength is awesome!

Kent's first level up sucked.

Hector's first level up sucked. What else is new.

Yeah I'm actually doing a run-through right now. Raven and Prisillia are two of my go-to peeps. My first playthrough where I actually got one of the pure healers to promote and become a productive member of society.

Yeah, missing Raven can sting a bit. He is, generally, one of the best, being an exemplar of the Hero class (as in, good everything.)

@Killitwithfire You usually don't promote your healers? I usually am able to. Although Serra's level is still rather high for me.

@Daverin Thank you. And yeah Hector should be a axe swinging war god, but he's not. Apparently that "Steel warrior to be feared" part was lying or at least a jedi truth.

Agreed. For example any level up where Sara's magic goes up is sort of instantly awesome at this point yes?

I'll be responding to both posts at once.

That's a fair point, I'll be more considerate about two point level ups as long as they in stats the unit either desperately needs (i.e Serra with Magic) or that they are supposed to be good in (i.e Hector with Defense) and more critical of three point level ups when it's Hp, Luck and something else.

However single point level ups are going to be irritating no matter what stat they raise, and four or more point level ups are almost always going to get complemented.

On the Serra magic point, is it bad that I'm worried that when Serra reaches a really high level, I'll look and find out her magic is equal to or worse then Renault's average magic?
