Dromet would start at H6, being the last one to slow down. On the first initiative, or first sign of hostility, Dromet will charge 2 and try to cut him in twain.

Dromet charges past the trees swinging his blade cleanly down his targets chest. The blow is so powerful and so clean that the man drops to the ground instantly, bleeding profusely out into the dirt. Eophyn and Serph both circle around the area, preparing themselves for combat.

As her blade bounces off, he backs up, and holds out his hand towards Eophyn. Performing the proper arcane gestures, a ray of black energy releases from his hand, aimed at Eophyn

As soon as the ray leaves his hand, passing cleanly and safely past Eophyn's head, Serph lets loose a single shot, the arrow buries itself in the casters back, hitting a nerve as the man stumbles to the ground, trying to stand back up.

The man backs up a bit, intimidated by Dromet's presence. "We were supposed to lead you into an ambush ok? We are bandits, i never denied that fact, only twisted my words" He goes to say more, but Serph's arrow hits him clean in the back again, and he collapses to the ground, unconscious and bleeding profusely.

I dislike being tricked like that, so...yeah, lets see who wanted to toy with us. Serph says and climbs nearest three, to hide into it's upper branches.

Still breathing heavy the young elf wants to plunge her blade deep into the caster's chest but holds her blade. Backing off she nods at the other two and then tries to find a hiding place.

After a few minutes, the signal fades away, and a few minutes later, a well dressed man decked out in armor walks into the clearing, looking around rather leisurely.

Dromet will call from behind a tree, "How many more are there?"

"More? Are you allied with those bandits? Are you expecting more targets to come to the signal you left?" He moved towards the unconscious enemies, checking their pulses as he talked calmly.

She sighs and stands up from her hiding place still holding her weapon. "We are not allied to them but we do expect more. Who are you? A friend of theirs?"

He pulls a small paper from one of the men, and stands up, drawing one of his blades in an instant, the movement so fast the party couldn't even see the blade until it was buried in the now dead mans heart. He then looks around. "A man with a grudge. Do you know if that one is the last?" He points at the unconscious spellcaster, moving towards him with his bloodied sword dragging behind him.

[Man on Fire]

"If he was, who would he give a signal to? Fairies?" Serph asks sarcastically.

"His now dead comrades, i'm sure. Since i'm assuming you don't know any of his other accomplices, this last one will have to do." As he finished talking, he grabbed the unconscious caster and slung him over his shoulder, then began to walk back towards the road. "It was nice meeting you, but i have more important business to take care of than to deal with you lot any more than i have to. No profit in dilly dally."

[Man on Fire]

"Well, good riddance." Serph says, when the man leaves and he climbs down the three. If they already wasted so much time, he may as well try looting the bodies. Which he does, while he suspects his friends are considering following the man and asking him what it was all about. He hopes they'll do smart thing and let him go.

"You're a bounty hunter taking our kill," she says with frustration. "If yoyu're going to do that you can at least tell us who they were."

You find a pair of masterwork daggers, some leather armor, and three bags of caltrops. Other than that, you find nothing of use on his body excluding the obvious clothing he wore.

The man turns and stares down Eophyn, before talking again. "They were a group of bandits. Their typical plan involves tricking good willed suckers into following them into the middle of their camp, at which point they surround them and kill them. Like they tried to do to me. As for being a bounty hunter, thats not what i am. These little snots killed two of my men. I wanted one alive, and lucky me, you and your companions left these alive. Would you like money for the corpse? Is that what you are looking for?" He seems annoyed at having been stopped, and in a rush to get moving.

She looks at her companions for a second then answers, "Well, no... I mean gold is nice but that was not what I was gong for. I just don't like be attacked without knowing why. You said they killed your friends. If you have hurt men, I might be able to help."

"None of my other men are harmed. And i haven't attacked you, so you have no further business with me. Goodbye." With that last word, he turns and walks back the way you three had come from, heading back towards the road with the unconscious man still slung over his shoulder.

She puts her blade away and looks at the other two for direction.
