Salix waits eagerly, but after a few moments, the tree doesn't seem any closer to moving than it's ever been. That's a shame. Though something far more subtle is happening. A bit above Toby's head, a seed cluster is rapidly growing. A moment later it falls of it's own accord, very possibly right on top of Toby's head.

The seed cluster hits the Druid's head, but he doesn't seem to register it. Instead he just pants and takes a break from channeling his energy into the tree. Just need... to keep going...

"What do you call it when you marry one of them?" Quinn quips, shaking the hand with a grin.

The Huldra wrinkles his nose a bit at the display. And seeds bouncing of the silly druid's head.

"Eerr... I don't think that this is working. Maybe the tree wants to stay where he is?" Freddie suggests.

Then winces slightly as a continuity snap THWACKS! him right in the rump!

With a yip he spins around to discover-!

A third tail.

Weird.

He's pretty sure he would remember something like-

And there's the memory update!

Suddenly he feels quite woozy...

"I feel kind of woozy..." the demon fox mutters.

Salix goes over to stand beside Toby. "It's okay if you can't teach my tree to walk. I can still go to the camp and stuff." She glances down at the seed cluster that's now at her feet and nudges it with her bare foot.

All too often, a mistake. Why announce to the world that they can get to you through someone?

Of course, the other option is to build a giant power suit for the tree to control. You know, give Stu an archnemesis.

Wow was that ever weird. Continuity updates are pretty jarring things.

The Huldra glances over its shoulder again. Yep. Three tails. And it feels like it won't be all that long before another grows in. Or rather, not many more ghosts to nom until another grows in. Which of course means ANOTHER dramatic jump in power.

Four tails...

If a Huldra gains enough they become human again. Or so the story goes...

All this pondering leaves him seeming a little distracted! Though eventually the demon-fox grins over at the dryad girl! "I'm sure we can find other ways to make it easier for you to explore."

Reelshka's ears twitch. Him and the other babies... Julie's twins and Renetta's Flamecrest. Plus the other ones who might be brought into our new nursery. Two ladies from Watchtower said they may bring them here to be looked after...

"Not that I've met. I do have an adopted brother and sister though! But they're pretty shy, " Jamie says with a smile.

Salix nods. "Yeah!" She doesn't seem too put out by her tree still not being able to walk. "Thanks for trying, mister." The dryad tries to give Toby a brief hug before going to grab the seed cluster. "Olivia said I should plant a tree at GLoG. We should do that now." She says, turning toward Freddie.

"That's a good idea. I... think?"

Freddie still knows nothing of dryads and how they work. Aside from getting sick if they're too far away from their tree. For some reason. It's really weird.

Once Salix decides on a good spot he'll begin digging a hole!

Due to his sorta canine body form he is idly suited for digging holes.

From a fair distance away, the two girls might notice a third young lady watching them. She appears shy, and unless approached after a few moments, will go over to speak with them.

"Um. Hi," The young girl says weakly, brushing a brown lock of hair back behind ear. She studies them with small, quiet blue eyes. "Can I sit with you guys?"
