Um, Bookboy, I do have to point something out concerning Jit's presence in the Hunting Grounds thread that I ran across while perusing random threads a moment or two ago. Don't take this the wrong way, but...

He can't kill me. I can't die.
The pressure doesn't increase, but it doesn't go away either.

Just remember that anything made here has to have a way to be killed. That isn't to say it can't be extremely difficult, but it should be capable of dying.

Unless Jit is exaggerating his knack for surviving against all odds and embellishing on his alleged immortality, he shouldn't be rped in the Hunting Grounds thread as he runs counter to everything the thread was explicitly designed to stand for, as I interpret the situation and circumstances.

Unless Jit is exaggerating his knack for surviving against all odds and embellishing on his alleged immortality, he shouldn't be rped in the Hunting Grounds thread as he runs counter to everything the thread was explicitly designed to stand for, as I interpret the situation and circumstances.

Jit's method of "not dying" is a little unique. Essentially, he gets warped into some hellhole of space and time the moment before death. So he can be killed in the sense of being removed from the circumstance (since he doesn't have any control over his warping), just not in the sense that I need to abandon him as a character/introduce a character for the sole purpose of raising him.

Before they start through the tunnel, Mark motions to Red to stop as a small beeping comes from one of his coat pockets.
Security systems. Give me a moment.
He fishes around in his pocket and pulls out a small metal rod. Clicking a button, the end of the rod, which looks like some advanced jiggery-pokery occurred, begins to glow orange and hum. Mark sweeps it around, looking for power lines in the walls.

(sonic technology. If you've ever seen the show Dr. Who, Mark is the clone of a time lord, so a lot of his tech is from there)
