Default Help With an Eldritch Theurge Redo

So, i recently managed to get my DM to clear the idea of a Psion/Warlock advancement PrC. Probably a reflavored Eldritch Theurge. A PsyWar would also be acceptable. This is still just an idea-I haven't cleared whether we're rolling or point buy, what level we're starting at, nothing like that. I know that I want to play a blaster, preferably a sniper. Failing that, the PsyWar, maybe for the front-line stuff. Can this be done? If so, how would i play it?

    Please advise.

Well, the Cerebremancer is already pretty much this, except I don't think the warlock qualifies for entry, since warlocks only qualify for things with "caster level" prerequisites, and not "level X spells." This is just strictly by the rules, though.

Even with PsiWar entry, though, low BAB and d4 is going to keep you far away from the front line unless you select your powers very carefully.

Eberron Explorer's Handbook, p65. Thunder Guide. "Lionized In The Press: When at the University of Wynarn, Morgrave University, or the Korranberg Library, you can present a lecture, earning 200 gp for your appearance with a successful DC 10 Perform (oratory) check."

    Best. Class feature. Ever.

Well it can be done, but it's probably not the wisest combination of classes for the job (depending on the oprimization level you are aiming for). The best "blasters" are commonly considered artificers (nicknamed blastificer for good reason) and wizards (one of the numerous 'mailman' builds, playing around metamagic and metamagic reductors).

That said, i could see something among those lines:

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Skills: Knowledge (psionic) 4 ranks, Knowledge (arcana) 4 ranks, Knowledge (the planes) 8 ranks
Manifesting: Able to manifest 1st level powers
    Special: Eldritch blast +2d6
Special: Overchannel feat or Wild surge class feature

    Hit Die: d6
Class Skills: Bluff, Concentration, Craft, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (psionic), Knowledge (the planes), Profession, Sense Motive, Spellcraft, Psicraft.
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier

    [/table]

    Class Features:
    Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: None
Surge of power (Sp): An Eldritch Mind can use the Overchannel talent or the Wild Surge class feature when invoking an Eldritch blast. Doing so (in addition to the normal effects) increases the damage of the blast by an number of d6 equal to the manifester level increase grented.
Eldritch Meditation (Ex): Whenever an Eldritch Mind uses an invocation, he may regain his psionic focus as a swift action.
Eldritch Mindblast (Sp): This invocation (Lesser; 4th; Eldritch Essence), learned at 4tht level, allows you to place a mind-affecting psionic power upon your eldritch blast. If the eldritch blast hits its target, the first target is affected by the power. If the eldritch blast misses its target, the power is lost with no effect.
It takes a full-round action to manifest the power and fire the eldritch blast, and the Eldritch Mind must expend a number of power points equal to the power's cost +2 (wich may be further augumented, but not subjet to any metapsionic power), as well as her psionic focus. Only a mind-affecting power with a manifesting time no greater than 1 standard action can be placed upon your eldritch blast.
Treat Eldritch Mindblast as a power whose level is equal to the mind-affecting power the eldritch blast (minimum 4th level).
Mindweaving (Sp): At 7th level an Eldritch Mind is able to apply metapsionic feats to his Eldritch blast. To do so, he must spend an amount of power points equal to the "power point cost increase" of the metapsionic power +2, as well as his psionic focus. If combining this ability with "Eldritch Mindblast" (wich requires 2 psionic foci), the manifested power is also affected by the metapsionic feat (if appropriate), but both the PP expenditure from this ability and the one from "Eldritch Mindblast" are counted against the "manifester level limit" of PP used in a single power.
Eldritch Pinnacle (Ex): At 10th level, an Eldritch Mind becomes a magical creature. He is forevermore treated as an outsider rather than as a humanoid (or whatever his creature type was) for the purpose of spells and magical effects. Additionally his mind can hold up to two psionic foci at any time. Unlike other outsiders, the Eldritch Mind can still be brought back from the dead as if she were a member of her previous creature type.
