Skill feats
I've been looking through my books and I can't find any feats that just give you training in a new skill. Am I missing it or does it not exist?

Re: Skill feats
The feat is called skill training and was published in multiple sources. PHB pg. 201 is one place.

Re: Skill feats
Also multiclassing will often give you an extra trained skill. Its a better option than skill training if you weren't already planning on multiclassing.

Re: Skill feats
Many of the multiclass feats give a specific skill, or from a limited list, though. It's still virtually always better to multiclass than to take Skill Training as a feat, but you can't always get something particularly useful alongside the skill you want.
Fortunately, Perception and Insight, the two skills for which it is most worthwhile to have redundancy in the party, are both available through multiclassing.
