The weather today has been pretty unstable. Heavy rains have been starting and stopping at random intervals all day (I think it's starting to stop again). It's been pretty warm, however, so the air humidity is really high. Even if you find it really stale inside, the best idea is still to keep all doors and windows shut.

There's Swedish comedy on the television right now, and you'd be hard pressed to find anything more depressing. I can't drown out the sounds well enough with my music. Hyperawareness doesn't really help especially much in this situation either...
Did you consider just...turning the TV ok?

Well, it varies a lot within a few general themes, which happens to all be rather depressing in nature. Death, injury, drugs, misery, people being complete jerks toward people that don't deserve it...

Indeed. I could move my tablet laptop up to it if I wanted, but I like having it down here in the common areas where I can socialise (i.e. discuss random Internet stuff with little brother).

    ION:
Dad goes away on a two-day trip, and our diskstation immediately goes offline, meaning that I can't access my Inkscape projects until we get the connection up and running again. And the timing is even worse than that, because I'm terribly restless (I'm probably coming down with a cold), and am desperate for something to constructive to do.

I think I'll head out on an early night walk, and try to troubleshoot the diskstation when I come home again (assuming littlest brother has been chased away from the computer it resides under by then).

Well, calling it socialising is a bit of a stretch. Being within social proximity (i.e. talking range) is probably closer of the truth.

I was pretty tired when it finished, but I wasn't sweating or anything. It was actually sort of nice because they gave us an extended lunch and my school has an open lunch, so everyone who took the test all went out to this one restaurant and stuffed their faces. Which honestly only made me more tired,in the nice way though, and it was a really good way to blow off steam. I'm thinking I got a solid 4, though I could see me getting a low 5.

I felt that as the test progressed, I did worse. The Multiple Choice, I think, went pretty well. The DBQ also wasn't bad, I used over half the Documents and I did a good job working in outside facts. The FRQs are where things started to fall apart. The first FRQ wasn't the best, but it could have been worse while the second just felt awful. I dunno' though. I dunno'.

They were arguing over whether or not to put it in the fridge yet since my dad had not yet eaten. (Dad changed his position halfway through to 'yes' while mom was just trying to figure out wtf he wanted)

Well... It is easier sometimes. But really, you should also have another method of being absolutely sure in case the vote is practically tied or you have opera singers and/or rock stars on one side.

All I can say is... I hope that that picture is photoshopped or that that eye is fake.
Because I'd probably try and get the bee out of my, causing it to sting, and then I'd go blind in that eye and have to wear sunglasses everywhere.
    That's too scary to contemplate.

It depends on what you mean by End of Course Exam, we did had our final on Monday and Tuesday, but if you don't mean final, than no, it must be a state thing. And the final certainly is good practice for the actual APUSH exam. I don't think I've ever gotten close to using every document when writing a DBQ. I usually only get in about 4, so I was pretty happy I worked in 6. And looking back on it, I don't think I did as bad as I thought on the last FRQ. I was sort of freaking out at the end. Probably panicking over nothing..,

I'm sure you'll score great. Just to ask, how many practice DBQs/essays did you do throughout the year leading up to the exam? I was feeling really worried that we didn't do enough in my class to get me ready for it, and especially when I actually ran out of time on the last FRQ during our mock exam, but like I said I felt really good about it in the end.
At least 12. And of those practice essays it was probably a 50/50 split between FRQs and DBQs. Although they weren't really practice essays. Each test we took had a MC portion and some sort of writing portion. For the first half of the year it would be a FRQ, for the latter half it would be a DBQ.

*sigh of relief* Oh man, I am so glad the worrying about that test is over. I can't remember nearly as much stressing about the AP Euro exam last year.
I have AP Euro next year. Wooo!

I don't really find it that hard. Given, it's more unpleasant to touch the cornea rather than the whites, and you should keep your fingers wet and avoid moving your eye while touching it if you want to avoid any unnecessary irritations.

The only practical use for this is for getting loose eyelashes and other stuff out of your eyes.

Well, it's Sunday in Queensland, therefore, it is Mother's Day where I live.
The rest of the world will catch up eventually.
