Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I know, but I just don't like it. It's too obviously focused for people who are in the metagame, and I just don't like conversations about that. And I also just prefer it here.
There's also the talk about gigabyte limits I have here, so I'm worried having two major threads being watched at a time would worsen that by a bit.
Thanks, glad to give you an idea
in other news, videos on TwitchTV aren't working for me and I don't know why. Every so oftent he site itself doesn't even work, saying I'm being blocked. Stupid website =/

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I've played Ruby, and Sapphire, and Emerald. Sapphire first though.
Kyogre is obviously the better choice in all regards considering Groudon sets himself to be solarbeamed and that he lacks STAB with the type his damn ability sets to.
Green>Red>Blue
If only because it was my first import ever.
I concur.Last edited by AsteriskAmp; 2012-05-12 at 02:27 PM.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I remember Pokémon Silver. It was my first Gameboy game, and boy did I love it.
Sadly, the cartridge ran out of battery power many years ago, and the battery is soldered to the circuits, so I can't change it either (at least not without risking damage to the game). The only way to keep a save is by at all times keep it in our Gameboy Advanced, which in turn must be running 24/7, and it must have its charger disconnected and reconnected ~2 times per day because it stops charging when the battery is full. The hassle isn't worth it, sadly.Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

V HAS SARCOPHAGUS POKEMON. YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID. (and stupid. Gen 2 is god pokemon. We already have a deer pokemon, we don't need an antler god *cough* Arceus*cough*)

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
The first game I ever imported, bought directly from Japan and got it shipped, my parents were insane for allowing me to do so and definitely opened the floodgates for many more to come.
Platinum>Gold>Sapphire>Mystery Dungeons>Green>Pokemon Battle Revolution>Fire Red>Yellow>Pokemons Stadium 2>Silver>Pokemon Stadium 1>Diamond>Red>Pokemon Snap>Hey you Pikachu>Pikachu's Adventure>Emerald>Pearl>Blue>White>Ruby> Crystal>Black>Leaf Green
I may be missing some games, but this are all I remember clearing.
I tried to replace it on my Crystal's it worked nicely, though I had helped from my father.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I'd say that Diamond was the best, if not just because of the massive revamp it did for the series. The change from 2D to 3D, the bigger world, all the unique Pokemon nobody really thought were there until they were (couldn't find a damn fish in that mountain for my National Dex for a while), and a lot of replay value.
I really liked the 4th Gen. Maybe I'll play it again.Steam username is Triscuitable.
I got VAC banned in COD: Ghosts for using an FOV changer.
I try not to think of how sad that is.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
Why you leaf Green on bottom? Bulbasaur NUMBER ONE!
Personally, I guess I have a list. And OH MY GOD YOU PLAYED THE POKEMON STADIUMS AS WELL, YAY! HEY YOU PIKACHU WAS AWESOME.
Leaf Green (I only played originals when I was like, 5. And that was really only Yellow.)>SoulSilver>Pearl>Emerald/Ruby(I'm gonna count different colours as the same, because they pretty much are, except Team Magma's much cooler than the stupid waterhippies).
Pokemon Stadium is special. Those had the best minigames ever. And Pokemon Channel was a great spiritual child of Hey you Pikachu, except for the no mic thing. Mystery Dungeons are great, but I got STUCK ON THE DAMN UNKNOWNS. THEY WONT DROP.*cries*

Man, what. PBR was almost objectively terrible.
Anything with Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson and Stephen Fry is going to be too awesome for America.
Gen V was clearly the bigger revamp. (Forget graphics, it changed the freaking PokeDex.) But yeah, Diamond was a fun game. None of the GBA/DS Pokemon games are bad, really.

I prefer Dawn to May, personally. Except for her mom. Dawn's mom has a cavedome of hair and it is disturbing. Johto is still best ever, and Orange Islands is greatness.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
So, slightly off the (random) topic: can anyone help me find statistics for lethal squirrel attacks in the USA?
