I bought soul silver and heart gold, never got to open them, so I just made an extended borrowing to my cousin. I've been told they are good, but time is best spent elsewhere, pokemon is for me something fun to play against people now, the joy of playing itself has been lost to me, limited time I suppose.

I actually liked the first season. It had its problems, and it's bizarre if you watch the other seasons first, but overall it's good.

I remember Pokémon Silver. It was my first Gameboy game, and boy did I love it.

Sadly, the cartridge ran out of battery power many years ago, and the battery is soldered to the circuits, so I can't change it either (at least not without risking damage to the game). The only way to keep a save is by at all times keep it in our Gameboy Advanced, which in turn must be running 24/7, and it must have its charger disconnected and reconnected ~2 times per day because it stops charging when the battery is full. The hassle isn't worth it, sadly.

Cough, there are ways to play it without that, if you really want to play Silver again

What he says is sound, English has a degree of ambiguity regarding the meaning of a sentence. Granted most languages will have it or be air tight and as such have a number of rules which borders on ridiculous.

I have read, and reread, and read again that bit and I fail to see how it can be interpreted as having, in any way, damaged the village. It clearly states that it happened in the village, not to it.

According to some very loose grammatical rules, pronouns such as "which" generally refer to the last noun that they're applicable to. In this case, that would be "village":

It is obvious that it was the attack and not the village that lasted about a minute, but it's nevertheless possible to interpret it the other way around if you set out to do so, and with a little creativity, it can be read as the village only lasting about a minute after the start of the attack, implying that it was destroyed by the squirrels in that time.
