Logically, it cannot. The "which" cannot be attached to the village due to the way the sentence is constructed.

So, I snuck in a quick game of DOTA 2. Only my third real (i.e. non bot) match ever. In the first game, I was thoroughly trounced, I had no idea what I was doing, so I spent some time playing bots. When I finally came back to regular matches, using what I'd learned, I was much more useful and we won that match. In the third one (this most recent one), we were getting quite walked over. The score was 24-12 against and they had destroyed more structures than we had, as well as being pretty close to the base. But, soon the tide turned, we pushed and we pushed (and, it certainly helped that my character got his awesome abilities) and we trounced. I can say trounced, because even though it was looking like we would lose for a long time, from that point forth we lost nothing (except a few lives).

    Aaaaaaaahhhhh!
Two hours until my exams officially start!
    My mind has gone blank.
Also, because I woke up insanely early and couldn't go back to sleep I'm going to have to pinch myself during the exam if I start to drift off.
Also also, my exam uniform is borked (look, just google or wiki search 'oxford subfusc') because the shirt I bought yesterday literally five minutes before closing time is fitted and fitted is for skinny people and I am not skinny.
Gonna feel and look so aaaawwwkward.

    And all these exam regs.

    Blarg.

Wish me luck guys! My Finals have begun!

Don't worry Curly, you'll do so well that they'll have to rate the remainder of the human species on a curve so that your example doesn't obliterate the average.

I was merely comparing it to a similar situation.

    Blaaaaaaaaa.
One down, six - I think - to go. Aaaaand, the quotations (i.e. the questions) were awful, just awful.
I did write three answers to three questions though, so I'm guaranteed to get at least a lower-second. As long as those three answers are worth that . . .
Well. Could be worse. I mean, at least there were three questions I felt halfway competent writing.
And yes, everyone felt that way. Well, the six people I spoke to. All from my college (Oxcamfordbridge style). So yeah, we're all made out of the same box of negativity materials.

A favourite past-time of one of my bros is watching B-grade or worse movies. He likes buying them, downloading them, or catching said category of movie at the cinemas. It's strange.

If a movie is more popular, you arrive two minutes* after they start letting people in and you have to sit in the second row.
    *Exaggerated statistic.

Edit: That's also true. There are whole archives of bad films out there, and sometimes people like to watch them.

If you want to feel better, you can't have done as badly as one of my january exams went for my year.

The average mark was 5/30, and the highest was 13.
    But that's . . . 16 - 33 and a bit%
How the Hell did anyone pass that? The 13 should have possibly barely scraped a Pass.
Were you the one to get 13?

    It's really bad.
It's terrible, jingoistic, clichéd, derivative, unoriginal, the acting is wooden or over-the-top, racist (r/l interchange all the time!) and just plain bad.
See it, but only with a friend.

Now I suppose I should head off to mine... But first.

IS THIS SONG not the most perfect thing you've ever heard.
Good luck to you too my dear.
That's . . . not a bad song, not really my thing, but not bad.

I saw it with Law Friend.
But we deliberately seek out bad films (or so bad it's good) and actively enjoy the stupidity while snarking along.
We are terrible people for having seen this film, but it was so bad we couldn't stop enjoying the fun we made of it.

It really wasn't a very good film at all, but it wasn't boring.

Nowhere near the level of avengers Assemble or seeing a topless Keira Knightley in mild bondage get spanked by Michael Fassbender of course, but not dull.

    I got a 4.

To be fair, the exam was 30% of the mark - the rest was computer coursework and midsemester tests (mapleTA can go bleep itself up the bloopity bloop and shove a bleep where the sun don't shine).

I've rediscovered (the original) Shogun Total War. It's always on the brink of crashing, but it still runs on my computer, and it's very nice. I love chasing down and routing entire armies with but a single Kensei, or assassinating their generals with my Legendary Geishas. Or bribing an army at the other side of the map to join my faction, so that I won't have to invade my allies in order to expand.

Combat is a bit silly, however, because you'll generally achieve better results by letting the computer do them for you rather than playing them yourself. My archers perform horribly when I try to control the battle myself, and in any archer duel, they'll take 2:1 losses in battles where they outnumber the enemy 2:1. It should be the other way around.

I've never played that game. But I've got Medieval: Total, Medieval II: Total War and Rome: Total War. They're all quite enjoyable.
And yes, bribing people is overpowered when you can double an empire within two years without actually invading anywhere.

Edit: And I'm hopeless at the battles. Though the ones in Rome: Total War are good.
