Why aren't the console commands working? What are you typing into the console?

What I typed to try and obtain a Scroll of Pacify was "player.additem 000A44B9". For the Scroll of Harmony, "player.additem 000A44BC". Unless the Skyrim wiki is lying bout how to do this, these are the right codes. It says something about parameters, though, and won't work.

    Two questions:

    1) Can one of them die temporarily without breaking any quests and the like?

    2) The Skyrim console still has a resurrect command, right?

If both of these are answered by 'yes' than kill one of the two which won't break stuff, then resurrect. If the grudge continues after that...try killing and rezzing both of them?

It should be "player.additem 000A44B9 1". You need to specify how many of them you want.

You misunderstand. For whatever reason, I can't harm them, either.

It should be "player.additem 000A44B9 1". You need to specify how many of them you want.
Oh, I see. I'll try that.

Edit: ... HARMONY. I'm using HARMONY, and it claims they're too powerful for the scroll!

I think you have to use the console to kill one of (or both) of them and then resurrect them.

To kill someone, start the console, click on the person you want dead, and then type KILL and press enter.

To resurrect them, just type resurrect right after that without clicking on anything in between.

Yeah yeah, people are going to throw that "you don't need/want to grind" line but no, you don't need to spend a septim on this. There are some spots out there with as many as four to five mudcrabs. Do this right and you can train armor, block, and restoration at the same time.

In my case I already had high smithing & enchanting when I started so I had a well-improved suit of armor to take with me, especially when I was ready to train heavy armor. That might color my belief on how easy this is to do, in fairness.
Huh. You know, that would almost certainly work. Interesting. I always ended up relying on enchanted items to push my skills up, as everything in my gaming style insisted that if I was getting hit, I was clearly doing something wrong...

There should be an option to turn off immortality...
Here we go: setessential <base_id> 0/1 - makes any NPC mortal or immortal.

Here is a list of the IDs for people.

No, the problem isn't that they're essential. The problem is that neither of them can be harmed, at all, by anyone. And none of the console commands work on them, not one.

Sven is most definitely NOT essential, nor is Uthgerd the Unbroken. I suspect you've got some addon or another hoarking your game. Remove all addons, fix the current condition with console commands, then turn them back on.

Try leaving the place, and in the console punching 'pcb'. That should clear out any left over scripts that could be doing it. The other thing to do is ensure you're actually targetting Sven and his opponent. You'll find that there are a lot of things you can click on instead of what you're after. Use the wheel to flick through them. Try using disable and enable instead of kill.

Instead of killing them try 'disable' then 'enable'? I think you can do that even to NPCs marked for w/e. I think it may bug if you disable your follower though, si do it on the other one.

Interesting thing happened to me the other day. I started the quest "The Man Who Cried Wolf", but I went to Markarth first to sell off some treasures. From there I fast traveled to the Wolfskull Cave and when I arrived, TWO dragons came at me from the sky.

I killed one, but the other flew off immediately after the first died.

If this was a bug... I like it! Was actually fun and challenging to fight two at once like that. Dragon fights are the highlight of my adventuring day.

I've had it happen a couple of times, so if it's a bug it's not a rare one. If it's intentional, they didn't coordinate very well...
    • Sometimes, the knights are the monsters
    • The main problem with the world? So many grownups, not enough adults.
    • Talk less; say more.
    • George R.R. Martin, Kirkman, and Joss Whedon walked into a bar. There were no survivors.
    • Current Project: Fallout 4 "nerd" build (3/7/2/2/9/3/2, PER 9 after boosts)

That's happened to me twice now in different playthroughs in that general area. The first time it happened, the dragons started fighting each other, so I just stood off for a while and finished the survivor. I got two dragon souls for the price of one!

The Master Criminal was actually pretty funny... can't believe only 1.9% of the steam community got that one. Did the Wanted one in the same run... depending from whom you run it seems either some guards give up pretty fast or you can run from markarth to riften with them still following you.

Again I have the question about UFO and Jaysus swords... does anyone know if they have different names in the steam store? or are they only avaible on that nexus-site thing?

Well, I just started playing using my Orc shaman character. He's a traveling Orc mage who's trying to visit his relatives in a stronghold, only to swept into the maelstrom that is Skyrim. I'll be focusing mostly on Light armor, Smithing, Conjuration, and just a few points into One-handed and Archery.

Thus far, it's working out quite nicely. I summon a spiritual sword, kill bandits, make zombie bandits, and kill more bandits. It's working out quite nicely.
