Grantz has returned as he said he would. This time however he has a companion with him. Most who met him would know him as Red but these two look a bit different than what they used to look like.

Grantz now only wore black studded leather shorts and his armor, which consisted of greaves, polynes and cuisses on the lower body and gauntlets, vambraces, rerebrace and spiked shoulder plates. His tattoos completely covered his body and gave of a demonic glow. He had a sword on his back as well with a dagger at the waist. None of his summon demons were to be seen.

Red did not look any different physically since he is a shapeshifter but malice can be felt oozing from him in waves. He carried a Bulwark and a spear on his back. His face wore a snakelike look on it.

The duo knock on the front door with their applications in hand.

The duo waits patiently, after all they were already used to doing so, Red even more so than Grantz.

"I'll just head back down, then," Cornelia says, looking a bit cranky. Oh well, she can't really blame Mia.

The gunslinger heads back toward the Training Grounds, but seems to notice Grantz and his companion.

She makes her way over, cocking an eyebrow at the tall one. "I guess ye don't need that armor, huh?"

[Sahaar]

The angel Mathias approaches the front door.

This structure.....is very impressive. I don't believe this was here when last I came to Nexus."

He knocks on the door.


"Can someone let me in?"

Wenomir shifts uneasily and rubs the back of his head.
I'm not sure, to be honest. My homeworld doesn't have people like you, so the philosophy has never had to adjust to the kind of capabilities you have. They certainly make things easier for you, which is a hurdle on the road to the Riddle... but I don't think it matters much as long as you follow the Riddle and hone your skills.

Training Grounds

Pat thinks upon it for a few moments quietly. The thought of the philosophy felt a lot like she had been attempting to do, and it seemed like something that she'd be interested in continuing. At the end, she gives a nod. "I think I should talk to you more about it at some point. I'd like to continue learning about it."

"I'll just head back down, then," Cornelia says, looking a bit cranky. Oh well, she can't really blame Mia.

The gunslinger heads back toward the Training Grounds, but seems to notice Grantz and his companion.

She makes her way over, cocking an eyebrow at the tall one. "I guess ye don't need that armor, huh?"

((Wait does that mean you went to the front door?))

Grantz looks at his companion and thought for a bit. Yes there was a previous encounter with Cornelia from the previous........ Grantz.

"Armor is....... always useful to have around..... as you can see I lack torso armor. I came here with my..... associate to apply for membership. If memory serves...... you made an application yourself but by the looks of you, something went awry?"

Cue very sweaty slight blush.
"I don't know if that means if I should wear this look more often. I'm already busy enough that I can't wear it as much as I like."
Her eyes drift past Wenomir to the front door of the keep.
"It looks like we have visitors."
Let's go inflict our erratic and horribly clashing deadtime schedules on them! =D

KR messes with the controls, bringing up a nice big view of the courtyard while shunting all the other crap that she was staring at earlier to the side. She turns to the gnolls.
"Do either of you know where the nearest gnoll encampment is?"
KR, sadly, has not been keeping tabs on the gnolls.

Wenomir looks through the window at the visitors as well.
So we do. I think I've seen one of them around with Boris. He doesn't know Cornelia has signed up yet. I guess we ought to go meet them.

The brother looks up at KR, "There was big city near us. The one the dark ones had in pawns." He replies.

The door opens suddenly, and someone steps out. She almost runs into Mathias before she notices him and stops. "Oh, hi there. Are you new around here?" She tilts her head back to look at him and gives him a friendly smile. She's carrying a bundle of bunched up clothing in her arms and has a large bag slung over her shoulder.

The woman in question is a dryad by the name of Sakura Frescot. She's quite a small woman, only standing four foot ten. Her hair consists of a mass of cherry blossum flowers that reaches down almost to her waist. Her skin is a somewhat dark browns, her ears are long and pointed, and her eyes are brown. She's wearing a strapless yellow dress.

She says as a new "little" swarm of ants crawls around the corner with a box of donuts and a jug of milk on top of them. With as hard and fast as she was trying to go, she burned a lot of energy in that time and needed to resupply.

Very well. Meet me in the sparring ring. Wenomir heads there, draws his sword and leans on it.

Amelia smiles and goes to hug Shawna.

"Ah yes. I am new here....May I come in?"

"Yeah sure, come right in." Sakura steps back inside and gestures for him to enter. As best she can with her hands full, that is. "So what're you here for?"

Training Ring

Pat takes her time to eat the entire box of donuts(unless Harnel or Wenomir want any), and chugs down the milk. Afterward, she stays still for a few moments as her enhanced metabolism breaks it all down for her. After about five minutes since the start, she walks into the ring before drawing her sword and looking at it closely. "I'll likely have to remake this after this round. Need to figure out something to reduce the cracks. Unless you want to sell it anyway. Couldn't say what it's worth, but it's carbon crystal for the most part."

Wenomir won't have any doughnuts. He avoids such pure sugarbombs for obvious reasons. When Pat enters the ring, he assumes a neutral stance, putting his right foot in front of him and his sword diagonally to his body.
Maybe I'll take a look at it later. For now... let us begin.
However, he does not move.

Mathias nods in thanks and steps in.

This is quite a magnificient structure. I admire the architecture.

"What is your name? I don't believe you told me."

"Oh right, my bad. I'm Sakura Frescot. What's your name?" The dryad sets down the bundle of clothing and bag she'd been carrying. She suspects it'll be a bit before she leave now.

"Nay, m'fine. I made it in. M'not sure I can help you two, seein's I jus' joined m'self, but we kin look fer somebody who will."

She opens the door for the two gentlemen, looking around for another Watchmen to help them apply.

It seems that yet another hopeful Watchman is heading towards the tower. She is a woman who looks more like she belongs in a winter sports competition than in a group of adventurers. She's a little over six feet tall, and has short blonde hair and golden eyes. She's also carrying a couple of sacks with her, in addition to the backpack she's wearing.

Pat falls into a defensive stance, gladius tip held low in her right hand with her right foot forward. It almost looks like a fencing stance. She feels her hearts beating quickly as she glances over Wenomir. She didn't have a clue about what sort of fighting style he wielded, and while he didn't appear to be as strong as Harnel, he must have some edge for him to be as cool as he was.

If Wenomir is any good at reading half-visible Ant-People facial expressions, he might notice that she looks nervous.

"Well, when you are better we can resume talks about armor, I have attained some very strong materials, Thanks for opening the door for us. Hopefully a member ca accommodate us, I believe it was the priestess Mia that attended to you when we last parted ways. "

Serph ends his speech while element just murmurs something inaudible.

Wenomir is no good at reading the facial expressions of humanoid ants, but he can see that she's unwilling to attack. He starts to circle her slowly, drawing circles in the air with his sword, occasionally jerking it forward as though he wanted to attack - but he doesn't. He's seen how strong Pat is, so he intends to fight defensively and use her own strength against her.

[Training Tower]

Hrm. Looks like at least one of us will have to go and sort this out, Wenomir says to KR when he sees yet another person approach.

[Ashen Lilies]

((Because nothing is as defensive as holding your sword high above your head and waving it around erratically like you're trying to ward away mosquitoes.))

"Oh joy." Says KR, rolling her eyes. Talking to people is always her least part of the job. She sighs.
"Alright, let's get on with it."
She heads off in the direction of the front door!

And Wenomir follows. It really says something when in a pair of people, he's the one better at talking to other people.
