Cessie turns to her husband as he announces his plans, she already knew of them of course but while she didn't find military training very enjoyable, it was important for as an council member to at least follow this.

"I guess I could talk over a few things with Vasquez while we go there. I'll could follow you there."

Yazon is here and listened to Harnel's announcement. He, of course, hasn't been around nearly long enough to know who most the people here are, let alone that they don't have much organization. "I'll come too, if you don't mind. It'd be a good opportunity to see Remnant too."

"I can go as well, if you all will allow me," Hildur says. She could certainly use some training, after all.

Well, with that information, KR looks for the gnoll city. Though really, that information didn't help. The gnolls just told her that there was a gnoll city, not where the gnoll city actually was, which is kind of what she was hoping for.

Still, she looks, and eventually finds it. And then zooms in. And then zooms in. And then zooms in. Until there's probably just a bunch of clearly visible gnolls around the city doing... whatever it is gnolls do. And they all have wings.
"Well, damn."

"What is it?" Darcy asks.

Darcy also agrees to go to training with Remnant.

Outside the Main Gate

A helicopter flies up and lands a few hundred meters away from the wall, parallel to the Main Gate. The door on the side slides open and a young man in full combat gear, casually holding an Enhanced Battle Rifle, looks out. He takes in the sight of the impressive fortress, while keeping an eye out for anyone investigating, and waits for the pilot to power down the aircraft.

"A training camp? Is this our initiation or just an announcement for current members?"
Serph asks Wenomir.

Actually, he assumed she knew where the city was considering Darcy and the others had just been in said city so he thought they had informed her about it's location.

But KR will indeed see that all the gnolls have wings from the observatory. She might also note they look rather confused about it. She probably see the chaos caused by the downfall of their demonic masters as well.

"Um, all I know is they have some kind of place underwater somewhere." Sakura knows very, very little about HALO. Mostly because she hasn't heard of them doing much.

"I see."




Mathias looks admires the architecture briefly, then says:

"What is it you do around here?"

"Me? Well, not too much really. I used to try and do more, but all I really do around here is tend the garden. I haven't even had the option to do much since the baby was born. It's my husband that actually helps around here." Sakura admits. She doesn't mention how it was really her fear and dislike of fighting that caused her to back off from trying to take an active role. A while before she got pregnant.

"I'll go too." Says KR. It's her duty as one leader to go to these things, after all. And while she doesn't exactly trust Remnant, she can't deny an arrangement with them would be useful.

"Well, look at them." Says KR, gesturing towards the big screen.
"They all have wings. All of them. Whatever did this is very powerful."

After the rotors stop spinning, a red-haired, fox-eyed man with a fedora exits the helicopter. He pauses to quietly give his sniper a few orders, then walks up to the front door. Considering that he is the Commander of HALO, it may be best if he joins the Mathias timeline.

Training Ring

Pat sees the blade coming for her neck and drops her sword to over and try to grab the blade, using her strength to keep it at bay. If successful, her hand will slide along until it gets to the hilt guard and she'll try to bash it back at Wenomir's face as the first knuckles of three of her fingers fall to the ground, oozing blackish green ichor.

This body was expendable to her, but her pride was not. She wouldn't fail this fight with just a single attack against her.

Tobias might see that Cessie is standing not too far away from the two, apparently busy with watering a young sapling with water being pulled out of nowhere and into the ground. The sapling can't be much more then a year old.

She turns to the fox-man and looks at him in surprise. "Hello Tobias, I didn't expect to see you here. How have you been?"

Tobias doffs his hat at Cessie in a gentleman's bow. I've been worse. And yourself?

There is a signal from Boris's communication headset that's being sent here. Whoever picks it up will receive the following message: "Krestyanov calling. Fresot and I require identification on a hostile. Referred to as 'Angel of Cold and Perfection.' May require non-mundane support at my coordinates."

The mage returns the bow, "I'm at perfect health as far as I'm aware." She replies. "You have to excuse me if I seem surprised, it was just so long time since I saw you outside the council chamber. What brings you to WATCHTOWER?"

Sakura smiles a bit at the thought of her husband. "He uses guns and stuff like that. He really enjoys hunting, and that's kind of where his interest in guns comes from."

Wenomir looks at the new recruit. If you want, we can do your entrance test during the business with Remnant. It's quite the good opportunity.

Wenomir is definetly surprised to see Pat's wilingness to lose her fingers, before he remembers that she mentioned having multiple bodies.
Still, his surprise causes him to be distracted for a split-second, and the hilt of his sword hits his forehead. He reacts immediately, trying to sweep Pat's legs from under her with a kick while she's occupied with his sword.

"Yes that would be a good Idea. Maybe I can learn how to use this sword."
Serph touches the sword on his back.
"I'm a brawler in truth so I've never actually used this."

"We will follow you there if that is the testing ground, I am eager to get started." Says Element

Some of HALO's soldiers had planned a training flight. He gestures at the helicopter. I decided to tag along in the hope that I could do some business here, if you aren't too busy.

"I'm not busy at the moment, no. Frankly you have caught me at a very good time considering I don't spend that much time in WATCHTOWER at the moment. I just came down to water this tree and clean my room." Or rather, let the elemental clean most of it for her.

The fox-eyed man looks a little surprised that Watchtower's representative doesn't spend much time in the base. You're that busy with apocalypses?

"Not exactly, I have been pregnant and now take care of two children in addition to all my projects so I have been spending the majority of my time in Mithar keep. If there had been apocalypses I would have been called in though, but there just haven't been any lately. Once the children are old enough I will return to my normal schedule however." The mage explains.

Ah... My own children grew up too fast. Sometimes it seems like they take care of me more than I do of them. Tobias smiles, then looks around. Is there somewhere more private where we can talk? Or do you not want outsiders in your castle?

"Of course, I could arrange a more private room for us. Let's head to the library, it should be enough for our tastes." Cessie says before she starts heading towards said location. "If you would follow me please."

As they arrive the sorceress turns to face him. "So how many children do you have? I wasn't actually aware you had any."

Tobias curiously looks around at their base while they walk. When they get to the library he thinks for a second. ... Eight. But two of them are in the GLoG timeline, another two are Aspects of my daughter the Goddess Angela, and some of the rest were cloned from my DNA without my knowledge. Good luck naming them all.

"Two..." GloG timeline? Aspect of the goddess what? Cloned? Wasn't that what Magtok was?

"I see, I just gave birth to mine but I would have preferred an easier method, true." Better not ask too many questions about it, presumably that wasn't what he wanted to discuss.

"So what did you want to talk with me about?"

Tobias laughs. I'm sure you've noticed by now how living in the Nexus can complicate your life. Well, I've been here for four years, so I've had quite a lot of weirdness happen to me. Then he looks at her seriously. I'll be blunt: HALO has no idea what is going on in the Nexus. NO and Magtok aren't providing the intelligence they agreed to when we formed the Council, but I have been personally negligent in keeping up to date with current events. HALO has the capability to fight any form of evil, but we don't know of any threats to target.

Cessie raises an eyebrow. "I know that HALO is separated from the rest of the nexus due your location but don't any of your members ever visit the nexus? I heard you wage war over many dimensions but perhaps it would be a good idea to focus a bit more on your home plane." She suggests. "As for major events nothing really noteworthy have happened lately except the fact AMEN have changed leadership but you knew that already. Watch have had a few skirmishes with demons lately and the cult of dalachrech. But I can't think of anything else at the moment."
