    Felix's sling bullet smacks Goblin2 right in the nose, causing an eruption of blood and teeth. The goblin staggers for a moment, uncrossing his eyes with a vigorous shake of his head.

    Goblin1 skids to a halt as Alfie charges in and raises his shield to eye level, arcing a measured strike at Felix's chest.

    Undeterred, Goblin3 leaps through the air, shrieking wildly as he bears down on Oscar with a vicious overhead chop with his mace.

    As Gwen charges past Goblin3, he takes a chopping swing at the back of her knees, but her wild charge is too fast, and he only manages to trip her up enough to make her swing at Goblin4 go wide.

    Goblin4 seizes the opportunity and lobs his mace in and underhand swing towards Gwen's shins. The attack is weak and slow, but Goblin4 still seems undaunted as reinforcements charge in up the hill.

    Goblin5 hobbles up the hill, splashing over the stream, and leaps high into the air, sending his crashing down like a hammer onto an anvil.

    Goblin6 scrambles up the hill to join the fight, arcing north past the tree, with Goblin7 sprinting right beside him in position to overwhelm the two monks with sheer numbers.

    Goblin8 darts around the stream, hanging back and picking his path more cautiously.

    At the moment, no more goblins appear to be poking their heads out of the cave.

    The caravan keeps moving, trying to escape the raid with their wares in tact.

    Oscar had been blankly staring as Feddin crushed the head of a goblin, when his world went white.

    What...happened. He staggers backwards, unsteady on his feet as a warm sticky flow spreads down his neck. He spots a sneering goblin brandishing a bloody implement. Occupied with self preservation, Oscar reflexly grips a piece of twisted leather as an unseen force solidifies around his body.

    Felix smiles wildly as he sees his bullet hit some goblin straight in the face, he looses his calm for a second and attacks closest... group of goblins...

    Alfie bounds forward, as Felix greets Goblin1 with a fist to the face. Goblin1 bends over almost like he is going to do a backbend. He staggers back and almost rises to a stand before falling to the ground, eyes swollen shut from the heavy pummeling.

    Then Goblin6 raises his shield to deflect Felix's second attack, but too slowly, as Felix's fist pounds into his ribs. Goblin6 recoils from the pain and grits his teeth as surging agony vibrates through his fractured ribcage.

    Alfie clamps down on Goblin7's neck and shakes furiously. Though the goblin tries to resist, Alfie's hold is just too strong. He eventually goes limp and Alfie spits him out onto the ground.

    Goblin3 presses his attack on Oscar, swinging hard with his mace at Oscar's chest, but it bounces harmlessly off an invisible barrier. It stares a moment at it's mace, slightly confused by the strange effect.

    Gwen looks over at their squishy wizard getting his buns kicked "whoops" but she can't drag herself away from the pair of goblins before her just yet. She thrusts her trident at the goblin before her before moving to flank the goblin in front of Oscar.

    Clang! Trident meets shield. The hit is hard, but ineffective as it rebounds off the small obstacle, Goblin5 staggers back, but regroups to take an opportunists swipe at Gwen's hip as she turns to rejoin her beleaguered companion. Fortunately, he's still too heavy on his heels to get an accurate swing.

    Goblin4 isn't going to let her go so easily. He whips out a sidelong swipe against Gwen's primary arm. But after it bounces off her scale armor, he shuffles in for a more accurate strike. Hoisting his mace high, he hammers his mace down in a vicious overhead chop to the base of the neck.

    Goblin5 rushes in at Feddin, swinging low at the knees, but the swing is too slow and clumsy for Feddin's lightning reflexes.

    Goblin6 blinks the stars from his eyes as he slowly recovers from the crippling pain of the Stunning Fist attack, but his fingers can't hold his weapon and shield as they fall to the ground.

    Goblin8 scampers up the hill and dives into the fray, swinging wildly at Gwen, but is met with a perfectly timed defensive swipe from Gwen's trident. Both weapons resonate from the power of the attack, but Gwen proves the stronger.

    Goblin1 rolls over, and coughs up more blood, but Goblin7 manages to crawl a few inches away from Alfie, and clutching his torn neck with one hand, manages to stop the bleeding.

    As the brave defenders hold the line, the caravan keeps rolling.

    Oscar slips to the left of the goblin. This is risky.. He attempts to split his concentration between his foe and the arcane ritual. One can briefly see a pinch of fluorescent powder between his fingers as a flash of prismatic light explodes from his finger tip.

    Goblin4 takes a foot to the neck and stumbles away from Gwen, clutching his crushed windpipe. He drops to one knee as his eyes glazed over from lack of oxygen, then falls to the ground.

    Goblin3 raises his shield, but that only makes things worse as Feddin's iron-legged kick bludgeons Goblin3's shield arm, shattering bone and causing the shield to slam into Goblin3's face. Goblin3 stands up unnaturally straight for a second or two… then staggers back a step. Then his eyes rolls back into his head and he falls face forward like a felled tree.

    Gwen you're up.

    If he is considered helpless I'd like to spend a full round action to coup de grace him, automatically doing (2d6+4)[14] damage.

    Otherwise I'll attack regularly.

    Attack (1d20+2)[7] for (1d6+2)[5] damage
    Crit confirm (1d20+2)[3] for (1d6+2)[4] damage
    Edit: Sure hope I get the coup de grace...

    Goblin5 stumbles around clumsily, and rubs his eyes. "Gurbak un' ouu kdomm umo'? O u'd k'! Gurbak?"

    Goblin8 still doesn't move.

    As Gwen heads down to the cave, Feddin's foot crushes the skull of the still sleeping goblin. Goblin5 crouches... startled by the sound and reaches out to feel for what's there.

    The cave is dark… too dark to see in more than a few feet. But you can hear the scuffling sounds of a warg and some goblins talking. However, the sound is echoed, implying that they're deeper within the cave.


    Finally, Goblin8 blinks again and shakes his head to see Goblin5's foot buried in Goblin5's head.He freezes in place, too terrified to act.
