True, but it's a matter of degree. I've had very little experience with tumblr personally, but the few tumblr sites I have been to are just loaded with those kinds of animated gifs. In fact, I usually have to avoid tumblr when possible, because my internet connection isn't very good and it causes massive slowdown.

On the flip side, of course, this could also be happening 4/12 instead, and he's going to lose this fight as well. It would rather deftly explain the mood he is in at the party, would it not?

they are in some dream bubble thats imitating that scene very closely, and John as a dream-projection is attacking Bec Noir with a new hammer, also John may have just resurrected himself again because of god-tier immortality.

Specifically, Jack flew into a dream bubble in order to take a quick rest from the pursuing PM, and accidentally walked right into a wildly vengeful John. Presumably, this is dreaming John from when he just passed out after yelling at Davesprite and Jade a lot, and it was his dream bubble that Jack entered.

Is this what Vriska and Tavros have been up to? John clearly got manipul8ed on his driveway, and now has a dreambubble all to himself - that just happened to be in Jack's path. If Tavros was able to commune with horrorterrors and arrange the convenient private bubble then this could all be a trap that Vriska had in mind when they went off to "f--- s--- up".

Possibly. John's pretty strong, and is by no means limited to just his arms in combat. And in any event, he's in no actual danger here, since if he dies (again) he'll just wake up on his driveway.

Indeed, John probably wants to kill Jack himself, what with being extremely angry, "You killed my father! And my friend! And her mother! And me!" and all that. PM popping in to steal his kill may not be seen as helpful.

On the other hand, if John does die here, (and Jack doesn't) then that would probably be good motivation to stop watching terrible movies and playing video games, and spend the last year training and such.

Huh, this is an interesting point. I think it just is part of a theme, for now, but has the possibility to become something.
