Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Just the head shape, I mean. It's that way in chapters 1-3, then less distinctively in 4 and 5, very slightly in some angled views in 6 (here, for example). It does still show up rarely in 12, where the infiltration occured.
Also, it has the hair and antennae. It's pretty clearly a composite of Annie under the assumption that she's a robot.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
So, 'rumor'? Is that a mistake or is GC written in US Englih? Just curious.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
MURRICAn English I believe. I don't think I've seen the word colour in the comic.
Edit: I LIED! Typo. Or parsnips "rumor" looked better in the speech balloon.Last edited by Mauve Shirt; 2013-01-19 at 10:05 AM.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Ok, so what are the Seraphs doing? They've had two major shocks here, with Kat apparently following in the footsteps of the creators of the Court and figuring out how to cause inorganics to grow, and that she can read their code, something no human should be able to do. I would suspect they're convinced she's either an angel or a devil, and I'm not sure which. But they're obviously not destroying the walls, more like inscribing things on it. So what could they be up to?
I guess we'll see.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Kat was taking notes of the code she transcribed off the cube.
The seraphs took note of that and wondered if she truly could read it.
When she admitted that she was 'working on it', that would be an indication that she was lacking information to continue.
The seraphs are probably going to provide her with information that someone truly capable would be able to use to bridge the comprehension gap.May you get EXACTLY what you wish for.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
It's a side view of Diego's face.
Also, it has appeared several times in the comics and is to Kat, what Antimony(the symbol) is to Annie.

Annie needs to work on her threatening expressions and gestures.
Rey's convenient to have around.

Poor Rey, he's been making that expression a lot recently. This chapter just isn't going well for him at all, is it?

Not to get too far into x-rated territory, but it occurs to me that snugglebunnies with Smit-face might be a extraordinary experience, as his power would mean he'd always do everything precisely right...

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
When all the candidates barely show up on time, the job being filled sucks.
Jeanne and Surma were both used as bait by the Court, so why does anyone want to be the medium.

Alternatively, it could mean that it would be over before it had a chance to get interesting.

Oh that's right, I had almost forgotten that Rey is kind of a pervert.
They should be glad it's wolf Reynardine and not stuffed-animal Reynardine. He's much more tactful as a wolf.Last edited by Marnath; 2013-02-01 at 03:41 PM.
