That's because some of them are pink gears, not roses; they're partially hidden by the bubbles, so I didn't realize the difference at first. Oh, unless you meant the thorns. Also, yes, bubbles. ^_^

I think they changed when they upload stuff.

It used to be the comic was up at 11 PM (CST) regular as clockwork. For the past few weeks it hasn't been up even by midnight (CST).

So either the Foglios switched their update protocol (unlikely) or they've been uploading the comic later likely because it is getting finished later.

With her acceptance of the kiss, he becomes a viable love interest. And with one of the characters in that love-Y (?) being one I cannot stand, I fear for the future. This isn't some little annoying thing that can be ignored or overlooked.

I am heartbroken.

My only hope is that it is The Other's influence on her mind. Not likely, but I'm grabbing onto that thought with both hands right now.

well... this is a love triangle set up before Agatha even lost her locket, so chances aren't that good.

I noticed those, which is why I mentioned them as an afterthought. I actually did confuse a couple of the pink gears for rose flowers at first due to the same colours, so I mentioned that possibility first. After all, a rose with thorns isn't that surprising (though some artistic license with thorns tends to make them bigger in art than they are on most cultivars), but a spiky flower would qualify.
