I've been browsing through some older posts. Namely, the argument Adir and Vasquez had in Remnant about eight months back (probably less, IC). Right afterward, Cessie said something about Adir disliking Remnant because of the reputation they'd built up. That wasn't the case, however, and I hadn't been aware that Remnant was anything but a reputable and generally Good-aligned organization. Was Cessie speaking of the Empire before them, or...?

Nope, Cessie was never around when the empire still existed.

But while I'm not 100 % sure (consider my memory isn't the best) the reputation she was referring to was that they as pretty much only major military organization within the nexus thought they knew better then the civilians about what was the best for inside and pretty much everything else. Or so the rumor went I believe (again, not 100 % sure).

As said in the post I thought I did answer it. I tend to forget it due to the time zone difference. In the morning I say "Ah Earl won't be around until tonight so I post later" and then I forget it. I try to answer directly now.

I've gotten the impression that Cessie simply distrusts any form of military, especially military rule. Which is funny since she represents a highly militaristic organization.

I've been actually meaning to have KR talk to Cessie about her role on the council. From what I've seen (and I assume Cessie consistently and accurately reports back on her council activities) Cessie's been a little too conservative and pacifistic to be representing WATCHTOWER properly, at least in KR's view. To be fair of course, she's a little more aggressive than the average WATCHTOWER member, but then, the other two leaders are pretty aggressive as well. Also to be far, it's not like certain other council members are perfectly representing their organizations.

Speaking of, the idea of his Wenomir mentioned after Harnel's speech is that since people already come to Watchtower for training sometimes, maybe they could make it official. Watchtower has a high concentration of people skilled in violence, recon, magic, tech or any combination of the above, after all. So they could say they'll teach anyone who shows up, for free, provided that they can confirm they're not psychopaths, cultists of Great Old Ones, mimes, or anything like that.

Sure, KR could talk to Cessie about it. She would even be ready to step down if KR wanted her to.

But as you pointed out, perhaps only a talk will do considering the current options.
As for her dislike of the military it springs from her own culture which is divided in two bodies of government. The court of commons (which incorporates the military) and the court of eldritch which are the mages, the part she belongs to. Needless to say, the two groups are sometimes not at the best of terms.

Erm, I kinda lost track of this scene. It dragged on and on without much to boast about in the terms of story progression. I cannot remember where I was going with all the weird phenomenon in the cave.

Since you seem to still be interested in rping Trium and company (I think I might've glossed over them on your active PC list-thing posted in the OoC awhile back), could we merely scrap the caves adventure thing and start another scene afresh? I'm up for any type of scene, seeing as the compatible couple isn't associated with any org or, as it would appear, any flavor of the good-evil spectrum. I was entertaining the concept of sending Spec to the Hunting Grounds later on today, as it is summertime now and I finally have sufficient stocks of time and freedom to do so. We could also set another scene in motion elsewhere, depending on whatever style of rp you are in the mood for (drama, action, adventure, horror, and/or etcetera).

Huh? Oh! Did Zefir unintentionally merge with the dragon Clarissa gave to him in some sort of freak accident or something? I'll be sure to post that Clarissa is free and wandering around the halls of AMEN or something like that so we can start on that next time I post for AMEN.

Erm, as embarrassing as this may sound, I'm having trouble finding this post. Instead of hunting it down and linking it, I'll summarize what all went on in the post in a sentence or two here.

So the (creepy) elevator stops, Lintha gets out and walks up to the door of the (spooky) hotel room she and Javert will be staying in and stares at Javert expectantly because she can't open the (haunted) door (to the gates of hell) in her current form while carrying Javert.
