    For some reason I want to make a character of a buglike race. Are there any set Nexus races (like the Nexus dryads that ghaRPG has or Phil and Rae's Tire Geal ETC.) that are buglike?

    There are no set Nexus races at all. I believe the rule is basically "If it can lose and doesn't break forum rules, it's allowed"
    I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

    I think he means 'already defined'.

    For instance, if you wanted to play a Quill Wolf, I already have that race written up, so I could send you a thing on the usual capabilities of that species, and, generally, if you wished to make changes to your specific Quill Wolf's species traits (such as, say, his being bipedal), it would be considered courteous to run them past me, since I might not want the race I made to go in that direction.

    Also, TS, it was Rael who made the Tire Geal for Phil, not Rae. They'd probably be considerably sillier if it had been Rae.

    Actually there are "set" races, to an extent. Certain players (Gulaghar, Morty, Technoscrabble, C'nor, Darklord Bright and myself) have introduced their own races or specific variants of pre-existing ones as essentially factions.

    You can still play anything you want of course, that's never gonna change, but playing as one of these pre-existing factions tends to impart a sense of identity within the Nexus. For instance, pretty much everyone who didn't just fall out of the sky knows that Ghar's vampires (I forget their precise name) rule Westside. Hence, if your character is one of them, rather than having to explain a whole tedious and complicated backstory to anyone who asks, they can just say "Oh, I'm a so and so vampire" and people will immediately know "Oh, like the ones that run Westside!"

    It also means your character is likely to already know others within their species, as from what I've seen racial groups are fairly tight-knit within the Nexus.

    Like C'nor said, I've got a race like that, but they're mouths and hard skins are the most insectoid thing about them.

    Still, if you're interested, this might be a good opportunity to expand on the Vraal clan's culture.

    Serp, I still can't know that. Also I can't know how your robots work and how the cockpit looks. I saw Candidate for goddess where they use only mental input and I knew from code geas that they are full technical. It would be very nice if you describe them and In my opinion declaring what severl things mean, just like range X (Think its better to clear that like range 1 is low range 10 is a mile away etc.) after all I assumed the red one as artillery unit which makes 1 a very high range.

    For the MDM thing it's as I said. There won't be a problem with size since he currently is only an armor around Mia. The problem is she has no IC reason to split from him. Also isn't there Red who still needs a mech as well?

    Red is going to pilot the mothership with Mark (it takes 2 people). I already asked about that.

    With regards to his response, I have a feeling that was aimed at me, not you. Mark just downloaded the entire database into his head, and I don't think Serph wanted to type it all up if he didn't have to.

    Well you were talking about overclocking for increased damage output so I remembered the seishins. These use up spirit points that a pilot has.
    I planned to give everyone a default 100 SP for seishins.

    I plan to include
    Valor 40 SP- next atk does double damage.
    Alert 10 SP- next atk will miss you
    Strike 15 SP- All atks you do this turn have 100% chance to hit
    Wall 15 SP- next atk that hits you does no damage.
    Accel 5 SP- increase movement by 3
    ((all units have a movement range of 6))
    Zeal 50 SP- act again

    depending on the situation I may or may not include a 5 SP regen per 2 turns.
    Enemies rarely have seishins. Usually only boses have em.
    But if you guys don't want the seishin system, that's ok as well.

    I mentioned this in the post I just made, but what I was talking about was more overclock to the point that, afterwards, the entire weapon system is burned out and requires extensive repairs.

    I don't really care. I'm not sure what you have coming at us, so I can't say if they'll be needed or not.

    Also, is Wall used purely as a counter to Strike? Because Alert seems to accomplish the same goal for fewer points.

    As I said I saw Code Geas and CoG, but nothing of them seems to fit for this one other than being mechs.. Serph It would be the best way if you handle this like someone doesn't know anything.. After all i don't even know if the cockpit is in the mech or in the mothership.

    Let me link you guys to a site then. Plus this is SRW, it takes all the robots from banpresto originals, gundams up to Mazinger Z. You should get an idea of how the fights will be here. Well as to Zefir's question, each unit has its own cockpit thats about the size of a cubicle while the motherships bridge is the size of a classroom.
