Yuki raises an eyebrow. "Skeleton bugs? Where are you from, originally? And what is your name?" She cracks a small, witty smile. "Reynard?"

Click click pop. Well, looks like the wrist is fixed. Time for the elbow...

[Benson]

Merry, upon seeing it was Lune in there, immediately left the pantry and walked over to the larder to find the eggs.

[Deme]

Pantry
Zaro tossed her down the bread before returning whence he came...The question is, can she catch it without spilling the eggs?

Larder
Merry finds some eggs that look nice in the larder (Seriously, why are there eggs in a pantry?)...But is that really all the things from down here she'll need?

Lab

"I'm from da maze, cher...An' you can call me dat. It's a mighty fine name for a fox, and I don't like t'give my name when I don't know who'll have it."

Leon's Quarters

With Hani's help, Ante finds a nice-looking outfit, red and brassy, with a nice waistcoat and more muted pants. Leon'll probably like it.

When they leave the closet, they find that Leon's out, looking perkier, and trying to brush his fur down into order. He's kind of...generally poofy, with bits of his fur sticking out and curling around. The effect is a bit dehumanizing, but could also be seen a teddy-bear like. He's pulled his hair back, though, so that's a plus. He's wearing a closed dressing-gown that's been made with long slits in the back for his wings, and a pair of pants.

[Lycan 01]

"My name is Yuki," the assassin introduces herself, deftly dodging a bolt that suddenly pops off her arm and zips past her faces. "Whoops."

A bit more poking at the severed limb. "How long have you lived around here? Are you familiar with the Prince and staff?" she idly inquires.

[Deme]

"I wouldn't say I'm familiar...But I've seen 'em about. The fluffy guy likes to eat dere from time to time."

He explained.

"I been here all my life -- you don't talk if you haven't."

[Trobby]

"..." Ante holds her hand in front of her mouth, so that Leon doesn't see when she...

"Teehee."

...Giggles?

"Ah um...Master, do you, *snrk* Do you need some help with the comb? It looks *Eheh* Looks like you've got a slight fur problem."

[Lycan 01]

"No, I am a new maid," Yuki replies factually. "I just star- wait, the Prince eats wild deer?" she suddenly deadpans, concealing her mild confusion and horror at the prospect.

[Deme]

"No, I don't mean you-you. You're human, so a-course you talk."

The fox explained. He was something different entirely, after all.

"An I said dere, not deer! Like, over here, over dere? You follow, cher?"

Leon's ears pinned back, and you could see the inner lining of them flush.

"I did say I'm a fright..."

He pouts a little, turning away. And brushing harder.

"It's not that funny..."

Lune catches the bread!

[Trobby]

"Here, Leon, let me help you. I've dealt with long hair before." She says, attempting to help straighten out his mane with a second brush.

[Deme]

"It's not the long hair that's bothersome; it's the fur!"

Leon pointed to his hair that was actually hair, which was flawlessly managed. He squirmed away, clearly somewhat wounded right in the pride.

((You can act to try and repair his ego, affection or cunning's the most obvious, but I'll accept your own explanation, or let Leon manage it.))

[Trobby]

"...ah...well, it's not so bad...I mean, Hani has had this problem before, so I'm sure I could just fix it for you..."

Of course, Hani's a smaller person, and has a finer coat of fur than Leon's, but Ante's hoping basic principles are about the same.

....Very much hoping they are.

Lune laughs, delighted by her success. " Zaro, return!" She says quietly and the creauture vanishes as if it never was.

Leaving the pantry because of the lack of space in the arms she darted out quickly and put everything on the counter.

"I still need vegetable oil and cinnamon and then I can start." She mumbled to herself.

Lune heads back into the pantry for them.

[Lycan 01]

"Sorry, I misunderstood. I suppose I am slightly distracted by the fact that I'm trying to fix my severed arm," Yuki huffs, slightly irritated. Several sparks suddenly crackle from the robotic limb, and the assassin lets out an irate growl and stomps her foot in frustration. "Damnable prosthesis!"

[Benson]

Merry takes herself these eggs with plans to make her own french toast, that would totally be better than Lune's. Coughmerryissillycough.

She looked for the lard or cooking oil, hoping to find it in here and not have to head to the pantry where that Lune was at.

[Deme]

Leon's Room

Leon relents and lets her brush him. He still looks a little miffed, but wait for the emotional ADHD to kick in, and he'll be good.

This is a reasonable place for vegetable oil to be, so she finds some.

Lune quickly grabbed the oil and begun to scan the shelves for cinnamon.

[Benson]

rolling luck since that's the only thing that makes sense to me in this situation

Ante does her very best to groom the unkempt fur of the Master. Though she's no animal expert, hair is hair, and she does have to take care of all those tangled curls of hers every day.

Presumably during some off-screen moment, she took care of her hair. Assume that she did, reader. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE POSTS.

"I know you can handle this on your own, Leon. You were quite well-kept when we first met. But it will go by all the quicker with a little help."

[Deme]

Pantry
There's some cinnamon in the pantry as well.

Larder

There doesn't seem to be any vegetable oil in the larder. Well, rats.

Leon's Room

Leon settles down a bit.

"That is true. Thank you...For my pride, if nothing else." He shakes his head and smiles ruefully. "It's still a little emberassing...How disallusioning it must be, to see your boss in such a silly state; I must find a way to make it up to you."

He winked, his mood hitting a little updraft...Though maybe he was just making himself play along.

[Atreli]

Lune grabs the cinnamon and heads back into the kitchen to start cooking.

[Trobby]

Ante...actually giggles a bit at that. Apparently his mood is slightly contagious.

"Oh don't worry Leon, I won't use this information against you, you have my word." she says with a wink to him. More seriously, she adds "And by far, you are the best boss I have ever had, without question. So don't even start to worry about that."

[Deme]

Leon said, bowing a bit. He pulled up and made a slightly dubious face.

"...That said, I rather hope I'd compare well with at least *some* of the bosses you've had. But it's a comfort to know I beat the rest as well."

[Trobby]

"...Believe me, Master...Leon." Ante says, dropping the playfulness for a moment. "Hani and I are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work for you."

[Benson]

Merry

Curses...!

Well, Merry poked her head out to see if Lune left the pantry, she did, so Merry took this as chance to investigate the pantry for herself in search of the same ingredients, if there were any left.

[Deme]

She's gone back into the kitchen, so Merry has free reign...Let's see what's left in the pantry, shall we? Roll a thing of your choice, to either luck out, or make do with substitutes (will or cunning), or whatever.

Leon's Room

"I'm glad, then. Are you liking it here so far, too, Hani?"

Leon asked, turning to adress the quiet little apprentice.

[Lycan 01]

"So what do you normally do around here?" Yuki asks through grit teeth as she fiddles with her semi-ruined arm.

[Deme]

"I'm a fox. I do my thing: hunt, eat, sleep, mate... Wha' you want a fox to do, I do it."

The fox explained as he curled up.

[Benson]

Darn that Lune and her...self! Merry's mind wasn't at peak right now for proper insulting. Seeing that wretched Lune start breakfast making, made Merry harumph. She planned to do a better job than anything Lune would make. She looked in the pantry and frowned seeing the ingredients were there.

No.

No matter, she would keep on searching, she still wanted to make the best darn french toast, since, well, Leon didn't even eat her potato salad last night, so she was going to try again, no matter what.

"Fascinating," Yuki deadpans. "The mice hold ballet, the bats surf, the pixies fight over cookies, and the fox... is a fox. Granted, it's a talking fox, but still. I was expecting an expert fencer or masterful painter or something random," she idly muses.

There's a loud mechanical crunch. "Well that's... not... Um. I'm not sure whether that's good or bad, actually..." the assassin grumbles.

It's good enough, anyway.
