Softpaws votes to go to the moot. As a metis, she has been to them all her 15 year old life. She will help the others if they aren't sure what to do or what customs might be, assuming she knows such things.

Softpaws sees the wisdom in further investigation of the park, particularly spirit interrogation. The birds seem a reasonable place to start.

"Yeah, let's go back and explore the umbra around the park. If the birds are spirits, we can talk to them and see what they know... I really want to see if the Banes are still hanging around there."

Obviously you guys wouldn't split up the pack, so I wouldn't even consider than an option.

Oh, that would be so much fun for a Malkavian.

"If that's what we want to do, that's fine by me," Jason says as he enters the SUV once more. "Just keep in mind that I'm not that good at slipping between the two..."

Laughs at Blood smiled. "I want to know what the birds found so funny." There was a red glint in his eyes as he spoke, and his demeanor seemed a cross between amusement and violence.

So like a good pack, you return to the park in full force. As you park, you notice the large gathering of ravens has thinned out considerably. Only about 20% of them remain. As you get out of the vehicles, you can hear their caws from where you are already. If those are indeed Corax, they are talking about you.

The parking lot has one car in it now, a blue sedan. No one in sight however. You've been gone maybe 40 minutes.

Jason frowns slightly as he sees the blue car in the parking lot of the park, the words of the bartender in his mind of black-garbed men and the threat that the could bring. The Galliard looks at the crows above and then at his packmates. "So, what now?"

So, what are the rules for helping my 1 Gnosis pack mate go umbral? I don't need, like Parting the Velvet Curtain or anything because he's Garou, right? Just straight Gnosis rolls?

You both need to have gnosis, and you need to be touching each other. Holding hands. Something of the like, and you can share your rolls. Of course you need one success per person.

Man, sometimes the rules in these books are weird. You would have been better off failing this gnosis roll.

The pack leaves the physical world behind, and pushes into the spiritual world. A task that all have done before, but none have ever encountered anything like this. The gauntlet here is tougher than you have ever felt. (For your curiosity, it is 9). What's worse is that the gauntlet was trapped. As you push yourself through the gauntlet, you find yourselves covered in what feels like acidic webbing, burning you at your core.

You may all make a will power roll to soak this damage. All damage is lethal.
Softpaws-You take no damage, your small body and high gnosis having allowed you to slip past the trap.
Hours-3 damage
Lifa-1 damage
Laughs-3 damage

Around you is the remnants of a park. The spiritual grass has become spiritual concrete, the trees are made of metal, and the bushes all appear to be made of glass. The spider webs that pollute the city are everywhere. This place is thick with webbing, and you immediately see 3 spider spirits continuing to thicken the process. You know enough to know that this is not how a park is supposed to look in the spirit realm, even in the city.

Is the damage aggravated?

Softpaws assumes a defensive position and reverts to her breed form after the umbral trap is triggered. Her skin erupts into black fur and some of her lanky awkwardness disappears. The Metis instantly rushes to HourTales' side, "Are you okay!?" she says in Garou.

Lifa looks about the umbral realm in puzzlement - as a theurge, she should have picked up on this. Hints at least. It was her job to discern a few clues and tidbits but instead she'd led the pack astray.

Turning to see the spider spirits, the Get of Fenris decides she's not going to take any chances in such an alien environment and so shifts into her warform: her body becomes tall, lithe and coated with a deep gray coat.

Softpaws casts about for the birds, hoping to spy a non-Weaver spirit

It doesn't take long for the four of you to thrash about enough, that the webs get disturbed. The three weaver spirits immediately turn towards you four, and stare for a moment before emitting a high pitch screech. It is so loud that those of you not in Homid form are paralyzed for in pain as the sound continues. However eventually they stop. And begin advancing on you.

"Anyone else think that we should head out of here?" he asks as he looks around to the others.

Not intending on being spun into the Pattern, Softpaws moves away from the spiders on all fours for added speed. She moves to the entrance of the park, where the birds were.

Her previous charge having failed so spectacularly, the Metis is wary to jump into another combat.

"Good idea," Hour Tales says as he races towards the crows with Softpaws. He spares a glance back at the ever increasing spiders, wishing that he had the time and skill to reliably shift into a faster form.

The ravens do not appear to exist in the umbra. The telephone pole does however, with wires of spider web running across where cables should be.

Softpaws attempts to catch a sniff of the area, or perhaps the spiders - does she detect the scent of the Wyrm corrupting these Weaver spirits?

"Lifa, what's wrong with these things!? " The Crinos werewolf barks at her fellow.
