Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
Snarling viciously as she retains her flank, Lifa darts in to restrain the spider and expose its belly to Laughs for him to make the killing blow.
ooc:
SpoilerI am grappling the spider and using it as a spider-shield against the other spiders and to also expose its soft, succulent belly to laughs so that he may gut it.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
Round Summary
Hour-tales rushes in trying to save soft-paws. Spider 1 see's him coming however, and steps out of the way of the attack. It turns and spews webbing all over him, making it quite hard for him to move. (-5 to dice pools).
Meanwhile Lifa decides that working together is the key, and tackles spider 3. The spider struggles and bite out at laughs, but fails. It's spiritual strength is no match for Lifa's actual strength. Laughs uses this opportunity and lets loose two good bites on the spider. Dealing 9 damage with the first bite, and 5 with the second. Spider 3's spiritual body can take no more, and deflates into a something as thick as bed sheets.
Spider 2 meanwhile has not forgotten Lifa, and throws a web over her. The web coats her well, restricting her movement. (-5 to all dice pools).
Now only laughs lacks webbing.
The pack is up, the spiders appear to be continuing to attack. My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Laughs at Blood could see the fight was close, and if any more showed up, the would lose. His eyes darted between the two spiders, seeing that the first one was already wounded...
Laughs at Blood motioned to Life to attack Spider 1 and irgnore the one that was after her.
Laughs continued to use his rage, and with the totem's gift resting on his shoulders he attacked Spider 1 with murderous fury.

SpoilerAbsolutely. You can attack the webbing instead of the spider. It still needs a roll though. So unless you can turn that -1 to a positive 1, hour tales is effectively crippled by webbing. My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
Round Summary
With the destruction of Spider 3, the pack shifted their rage onto the already wounded spider 1. Lifa attacked with her usual ferocity, but the webbing slowed her down too much. The spider easily side stepped away from her attack. Unfortunately for it, however, it sidestepped into the destructive path of Laughs. Still riding a wave if fury, Laughs gave two good bites to the spider for 5 and 4 damage. It was more than the spider could take, and it deflated as well. Leaving only spider 2.
Spider 2 continues it's attack however, and throws another web over Lifa. The webbing now gives her a -8 to all dice rolls.
Meanwhile Hours and Softpaws struggled uselessly. They didn't like being unable to move, and it appeared Lifa may have joined their ranks. There is now only one spider, and one werewolf unhindered. Who shall prevail?
Spider 2 turns to Laughs and prepares to throw a web at him.My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
With only one spider left, Laugh's grin can barely be contained. However, he doesn't attack the spider, but instead goes for Hours as he seems to be covered in the least webs. If he can break Hours free, and begin to work on the others, they'll overwhelm the spider.
Spoiler
Going to try to break the webbings on Hours

I believe Lifa was in Hispo form... So with a strength/dex of 5, and brawl of 3, she is crippled currently. So the spider goes.
Spider 2 calcify on Laughs
(6d10)[9][10][10][9][8][7](53)
Round Summary
Laughs tries to begin freeing his pack, with three successes, hour tales now only has a -2 to dice rolls.
Spider 2 makes and throws the strongest web yet, and it feels like it's made out of steel. It falls over laughs, giving him a -8 to all dice rolls.Last edited by CowMasterTrojan; 2012-10-17 at 10:43 PM.

Laughs howls in rage. With the strength of boar running through him he still manages to move, and tris to tear at his own webbing.

All right, spending Laugh's last rage point for two actions.
He's also spending a willpower point on the first attack for an automatic success.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
Round summary
Laughs attempts to chew his way out of the webs, and does a pretty good job. Meanwhile Hours uses his new freedom to get the spiders attention, clawing at it. However the webbing is still just too restrictive, and the spider moves out of the way. It decided to re-web hours instead, putting him at a -6 dice rolls. Laughs is currently at a -4.My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
This last spider seems a lot stronger than the other two, or at least luckier. Laughs at Blood is willing to play this game with the Weaver though. He'd play this game of his bite over its webs.
He moved to Lifa, continuing the dance.

Re: IC Werewolf:TA-Chicago
SpoilerNo, he's in Hispo form. So, can he tear at his own webs again at -8 or is this second web going to take effect first.
Speaking OOC, if we as a team want to win this, we should probably focus all of our attention and breaking the webs not on trying to finish the last spider off that's not injured at all.
