"Splendid! And now my turn I guess" responds Ishmael and uses the hat... to... well become himself more or less with the only exception being the spiked chain that takes the appearance of a nasty long bladed dagger.

That done he moves closer to the shadows and the wall of the alley they are in and opens the hole drawing out the prisoner.

which reminds me you still didnt tell me what gear and cash he had on him and also wanted to note that I take his holy symbol as well both so that he cant cast without it as focus but also so they dont see he is a Pelorite.

"Rise and shine my friend. We only have a few hours of sunlight and me and the boys here are ready to meet your friend the Master. Lead the way and remember what I told you is the price of failure and treachery dominari!" says Ishmael to the priest.

Ishmael prods him.

"We are I guess I block from there. Lead the way..."

He walks forward and leads you to one of the warehouses.

Ishmael stays close trying to also sense anything around them.

He is fairly certain the vampire cant possess him or anything like that given the pendant against evil and chaos he has but is still uncertain of the power of the vampire, the number of servants it might have and also the actual lay out of the room they will visit.

He whispers to you. "Am I supposed to introduce you to him or will you be hiding when I knock?"

[Monodominant]

"Have you ever brought him anything other than missions from your temple? Or have you ever introduced him to other allies of yours?"

[planswalker]

"We normally keep these things in-house. His deal with Father Bright means he rarely desires to associate with newcomers."

[Monodominant]

"Well tough luck.

I guess the truth is the best solution here. I will come with you and you can tell him I am a friend to him... we met in the sewers were your road for whatever reason brought you into Skulk controlled territory... I proceeded to capture you instead of killing you like a good skulk does to a dominari and lucky for both of us you had an interesting tale to tell...

As such the skulk clan lead by the Shadow Spider has sent me as an emmisary to see if we can have an alliance with such a powerful player..." he explains.

"And now move... I am tired of waiting..."

He knocks on the door. A thin feminine voice on the other side answers. "Why are you late?"

"I, um, well... met someone who wants to ally with the Master."

"Another priest crony longing for power? He has told you already that he can barely stand one of you at a time."

[Monodominant]

"This time he stands to gain much more..." says Ishmael loudly enough to be heard but not to cause distress to the priest he has with him.

[planswalker]

"I take it you would be the "ally"?"

[Monodominant]

"Yes but I am growing tired of speaking through a closed door while standing in the street... your lackey has already told you I am here to do business so let us get on with it..."

[planswalker]

"The Master is eternal. It would do you good to learn patience. Who are you and what is your business with the Master?"

[Monodominant]

Ishmael prods the cleric so he goes ahead and speaks the rehearsed part. He judges that its best if the man actually delivers the message, seeingas he most likely has believed it, rather than risk being caught on the lie himself.

[planswalker]

"The Shadow Spider clan is interested in opening talks with the Master."

"Really? That is peculiar. After the incident with his grandson, the Shadow Spider swore that he would never intrude on this territory."

"What?"

[Monodominant]

"Thinks have changed. The Jacks are gone, the cease fire with the Guard is broken, the Korps thinks they get to run the city now and the Blue Hand Clan is trying to expand in this and other territories...

Not to mention the Kobolds being more mouthy than ever... So as you can imagine desperate situations require measures that are more... inclusive..." he explains using a series of truths to explain the situation.

"Understandable."

After a pause: "The master has only one request to verify that the Shadow Spider truly sent you: what is the Master's name?"

[Monodominant]

Ishmael wracks his brain to remember any name for this vampire he might have heard.

I dont suppose you know it, do you? You have worked with the clan for many years... perhaps one of the souls you took had this knowledge while working for the Skulks? he projects to the Cat.

Yes, I know the name of the Shadow Spider's youngest grandson.

And would you care to share it?

[planswalker]

I suppose I should. It would be rather rude of me to be obstinate just because I can.

Its name was Quent Mi'glint before the Shadow Spider ascended to power and traded his name away.

[Monodominant]

Ishmael decides to play it safe.

"Do you really want me to say the name out here? I can, but if your master... the Master wants his secrets to leak out in the street like a smelly cats urine on the corner of Flak street and Smiths then be my guest...

I can say that the Spider rarely speaks about his... youngest grandson while still out here... will not actually say the name though unless if you really want me to and take personal responsibility of it..."

"Quent Mi'glint" responds Ishmael as he leans closer to the door and whispers.

[planswalker]

"Very well. Step inside." You hear a bolt slide free from the door.

[Monodominant]

Ishmael advances after motioning the priest to walk as well and his other 'skulk' companion.

[planswalker]

"One at a time." the vampire spawn says, the door still shut. "Open it one at a time, enter, and close it behind yourself or none of you will see the Master."

[Monodominant]

Ishmael hopes that experienced hunters like the harriers are able to gain entry to this place despite the protection of the door. If not he or the dwarf will need to open the door at some point...

He enters first given that they need to go one by one to ensure the cleric doesnt betray them.

You find inside a setup disturbingly similar to that one Jacks entrance you infiltrated one time. Multiple light sources are glaring down on you, and there is nothing within 10' of the entrance to cast a shadow.

"As you well know, the Master is experienced with skulk tactics. He's not going to take a chance with the clan that rejected him and did their best to destroy him not too long ago."
