Ishmael shakes his head and now he is not even making an attempt to lie or bluff.

"The Master and those who worked with him got you in that place from the start so that you would suffer badly at that priests hands and could become devoted to the Master for 'saving you'. It was a horrible lie unfortunately...

But... mark my words little girl, if you submit to what must be done that priest will get whats coming to him in a much worse way than you could possibly hope and will suffer more than you could manage..."

She seems to be bracing for an attack at your words against the Master, but mention of torturing the priest seems to calm her somewhat. She pauses for a moment and asks "Will it hurt?"

"Good." She says, dropping from the ceiling.

"What will you do to me?"

"We will finish your suffering in this strange existence.

You will find yourself in the Halls of Kelemvor, the Just Judge of the Underworld. Seeing as you are mostly innocent and your acts caused by those that manipulated He will send you to what afterlife befits a child that has suffered for its innocense..." at this Ishmael looks at the Doomguide for confirmation.

"Aye, this is true. Damnation for the undead is reserved for those who chose it willingly. Your fate will be one of peace at last."

She ponders this for a moment, and says, "Okay, so long as you make the priest suffer before he dies. I have spent 50 years re-living the memories of what he did to me."

[Monodominant]

Ishmael nods without even shadow of doubt. That man was going down one way or the other and he had already decided it before even meeting this little vampire girl.

He smiles at her and motions to her to lie down and gives her a few soothing words before...

Before plunging the stake in her heart as fast as he can to avoid causing pain as well as final death.

[planswalker]

The priest waits until you have staked her before decapitating her as well. He performs a few more rites.

"You may be an assassin for the Solemn Judge, but you have the soul of a priest, you know that?" the Doomguide remarks.

[Monodominant]

Ishmael smiles.

"Maybe in a different life I could have been. I prefer to serve rather than preach frankly speaking... getting a job done... or even well done is all I need!" he responds.

"But doing what I do in the name of the Judge at least purifies it in a way..."

He laughs heartily at the "preach" comment.

"My boy, the last time I was allowed to preach, the head priest told me 'If I ever hear that you've got a sermon to give, Kelemvor himself better tell me in a vision.' There is much more to a priest's life than sermons and prayer. The sermons are just the most public forum while the prayer is frequent."

"Perhaps when you have time you can teach me deeper tennets of the faith. I believe in the Judge but never received clerical training or delved deeper into the aspects. I do pray to him relatively often though... before a task and after or even during as it happens." he explains.

"I am pleased with the result here, at least we reformed the girl before sending her to judgement. Now let us see if there are more to this place..." says Ishmael and takes his time searching the room but also consulting the apparition of skulk and nymph to ask if these 2 were indeed the vampires they mentioned.

"Yes, those two were the vampires."

You don't find any other vampires or their spawn in the vault.

I guess that levels me but I will need to get home to decide on class/prestige etc.

By the way... would psychic reformation work to completely change a class?

As mentioned I am really considering the Psychic Rogue and Psychic Assassin classes instead of the Rogue and Assassin that I currently have...

Ishmael nods to the spirits and also looks around for the treasure they mentioned.

There is over 100,000 gold worth of coins, gems, and jewelry lying around in locked vaults along the walls.

[Monodominant]

Ishmael collects the goods and then turns to the priest once more.

"Shall we head over to the temple? I would like to take care of those two first..." he says pointing to the apparition "... and then come to the temple if that is okay with you..."

[planswalker]

"Sounds fine to me."

[Monodominant]

Ishmael will depart the warehouse and head towards the university looking for Prof. Ahriman, also known in some circles as Professor Grafty.

[planswalker]

You find the professor in his study. He seems to be tinkering with some sort of aberrations, grafting on a bright green tentacle to its torso.

"Good eve Professor. I believe I will have something that will interest you and challenge you..."

yeah, sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. Some names just "click" with me, while others don't. Jana did, Ahriman didn't.

"Yes... please see my friend-thing here... spliced at a young age the amalgam of a skulk, a vampire and... well... and a very pretty lady.

Now with the death of the vampire they are free and not free... the two souls seem to be still entwined and since you are the most expert grafter I know I have brought them here..."

He perks up immensely.

"Are you telling me that two souls were fused together with an undead? That's... flat out absurd. Impossible. I have to see this."

Not sure if the fused ones have followed me here or not.

If the fused creature is with him he introduces it to the professor, if not he takes the professor to the warehouse.

"It is indeed so. An old skulk scientist, so to say, had a passion for splicing..."

"Ichmid the Abominator?"

They did indeed, and you introduce them. Upon hearing the name, the two of them hiss.

"That name is taboo among the Shadow Spiders."

[Monodominant]

"I guess thats a yes then..." he says solemnly.

"So, Professor. Is there something you can do for them?"

[planswalker]

"Did you not pay attention when I called this impossible? This is the work of a madman genius. It shouldn't even be possible to splice a female fey and a male human soul together like this. I am the premier expert on physical grafts in the nation, but I cannot splice the soul like this. I don't even know how to start."

[Monodominant]

"Well, you have 2 .... er live speciments right here so its obviously not impossible... and the alternative to you taking a shot at it is them being forced to spend eternity like this... or... well there is another alternative but that is clear oblivion and I am unsure if they would be up for that."

[planswalker]

"They are ghosts, are they not? Most ghosts have a reason why they linger. If you can resolve that, they will dissipate and that should separate them."

[Monodominant]

Ishmael grumbles.

"Hey its not as if I am psychopomp so I didnt know why any ghost lingers. Plus they just told me that they linger because the unresolved issue is them... them being conjoined and all!" he exclaims.

He turns to look back to the spirits.

"So. Whats your unresolved issue then?"

[planswalker]

"It would appear we are trapped, wouldn't it? If our issue is resolved, we get separated, but we have to get separated for our issue to be resolved..."
