Here is the list of quotes I found. Perhaps it helps.
There aren't really any exclusive or original ideas on TVTropes. That's kind of the point.

Yes, I could use google, but I would not want to spoil a book I have not read. I am certain though that avid readers of the book soon will find the reference.

And personally, I'd be inclined to vote that ban back into place. A significant percentage of "references" are actually coincidences (I offer the example of Malack and his Macebook friend Kotor), and in many cases it can be hard to tell the difference, especially when it comes to dialogue.

Considering that it seems no one seems immediately aware of the reference or the series to find it, and it kind of defeats the purpose of a quiz of this comic to try to find a random quote and cross-reference it with the comic (as opposed to knowing it already and noticing it in the comic), maybe we might want to call this question a bust and have a new one? What's the answer?

I'll give a hint. It's a pre-mortem one-liner in the original book. In OOTS, it's said before an unsuccessful attempt to kill someone.

    Uh..is this it?
Based on the TV Tropes page, this fits, I guess. But I really, really, really don't think it's a reference. I'm sure Storm of Swords wasn't the first to use that phrase as a snappy one-liner before offing someone, so it's more likely that OotS and Storm of Swords drew it from a common source. Let's stay away from speculative references in future, shall we? Hit-you-over-the-head ones like "Elan, I am your father" are one thing, but I definitely don't get a lot of others. Besides, that's less about the comic and more about pop culture.

So, with that out of the way, here's a tricky one that I've wondered about a bit. How many 10 gp bets have been offered through the course of the comic? Including those that weren't accepted by the other party, and the one case I can think of where it wasn't exactly gold pieces that were being wagered.

We have to teamwork a bit on this one. I will provide a few examples, and if someone who has read the book can check for the reference I happily leave the question to said someone.

    Example 1: Crystal

    Example 2: Haley

    Example 3: Belkar

    Example 4: Vaarsuvius

    Example 5: Girard

    Example 6: Xykon

    Example 7: Miko

    Example 8: Miko, again

    Example 9: Samantha

    Example 10: Nale

    Anyone of these?

I' ll post three bets as the rules state no answer should require more than three strips:

    Roy

    Haley

    Roy

There is also MITD offering 2 gp with the g and p from scrabble. He is also of course betting monopoly money on O'Chuls escape, but that is not even close to gold pieces is it?

    OQ?

What do you mean by "the members of an adventuring party"? For example, would OotS count? Or do you mean the first letters of each member's name?

10 gp bets I can think of:
    Spoiler
    Show
"Hey, 10 gold says the talisman zaps Nale."
    "No bet."

"I bet it's a belt of giant strength."
"Yeah? 10 gold says it's not."
Edit: This one was already mentioned.

There's also a bet on the Ninjacatcher that appears on the bonus material of Dungeon Crawlin' Fools. Thought I would include that one too, even though it doesn't count because it's a bonus strip.

There are probably more, but that's all that came to mind immediately.

I found another 10 gp bet.
    Spoiler
    Show
    Strip 187:
"I think I've found some kind of underwater tunnel here."
"Bet you 10 gold pieces it leads to the treasure."
    "You're on."

And, technically, it isn't even "first letter of each member's name".
More obvious question, then: find an item that costs two golden pieces.
