I just need to let it go a natural course depending on what other characters do.

I'm cool with other deaths for Spectre, but Chekhov's Cubey just seems more fitting given the whole...'hey Jelly Cube, let's make it more than a natural obstacle that keeps the other 'enemies' out from hindering the heroes and in little ways helping the bad guy succeed'.

Firstly, there was no indication that Lemongrass was ever going to leave the two alone. I only offered because it was the in-character thing to do. If you wish for him to leave OOCly, fine, I can find a reason.

Second, if you wanted to have control of the school, I expected you to at least mention it earlier. For most part, your posts have been short one-sentence affairs, and I presumed you were not going to take it up.

Which led to Dawnstrider, who will probably lead to Taylor, who is most definitely capable of removing it. Your best bet here is likely being direct with the whole 'It looks like dark magic, Batman! What're we gonna do!' angle.

I would suggest we put her status as currently ruling the Crystal Empire (hurr hurr) as a strictly neutral kingdom after Ironhoof's rule. Sympathetic to Luna's cause, but unwilling to interfere.

Given how important the Crystal Empire seems to be, that makes sense. Something like that you want to keep farrrrrrrrrrrrrrr away from the Princesses accused of housing evil spirits/alternate evil selves/Nightmares/etc. Even if she knows better, her subjects probably would not approve of open alliances.
