I'm picturing a super-bombastic villain who comes to town, only instead of wrecking up the place immediately, challenges the town to a fighting tournament for their survival.

The fighting-game thing sounds like something I could work with. That is, assuming it's not a fight to the death. That many player-killings in a short time would be inconvenient.

Some random griffon screaming like a maniac, IIRC. Sub 'random' for 'that unnamed guard' and 'screaming' for 'shrieking a warning'.

It depends how fluent the characters are in griffin cries. For most in the town it would be 'murder bird making big murder bird sounds'

The mooks thing are something more of a general catch-all phrase for minion, rather than any sort of indication of their power level.

Luka? You may want to have your ponies do less per round. While they're certainly allowed to be powerful, I doubt they'd be able to perform everything they just did without the five other guards getting in their way.

- Unicorn #1 somehow stabs the guard in midair.
- Unicorn #1 flings guard towards spear buddy.
- Spear Buddy A skewers him.
- Spear Buddy A throws said now-dead guard towards them.

Yeah. Kind of a lot of action there, even if it's spread out over two ponies.

nope, in 2 it was a stab after crashing against the wall (Though I specified that, edited).
Eh... Yeah, wanted to describe it as being made that fast, I kinda assumed he was somewhat away from the rest and there would be time for that, if it's too much, I could just make the spear buddy only skewer once and throw....
