"Oh my..... None of my souls have a clue other than a world wide call using magic, but I see that just cauesing trouble than help, to find them, beyond the starting idea. Wait, no, I might have a few magical do'hickies in my bags of holding, and we could send a multi-planer one using one of the many mult-universe ouching universes."

You notice that there is an option in the scanner controls for a more specific search. Perhaps by searching for local energy surges unexplained by observable infrastructure, you could locate any active personae using their powers...

Morcleon

Raising an eyebrow at the newly discovered sensors feature, Morcleon begins to enter more specific scanner parameters. Ones which relate to the unique energy signatures of Jacob, Erik, and himself and which do not match any known Terran systems. As the sensors begin searching, he turns to the other two.

"I think I may have just found a way to track any of the Personae on Earth. It might take a while though. In the meantime, what do you suggest as our course of action after all available Personae have been found?"

[Erik Vale]

'Information gathering and resource gathering, of course. I also have some enchanting to do, so I suggest the basic backdrop preparation no heroes tale has out front, the real question is where can we scrounge for information?"

Kate gave the soldier a deadpan look before shrugging and answering, "I've been involved in some weird **** over the years. The Foundation's job is chasing down weird ****. Then they deal with it, whether that's studying it or destroying it or locking it up. Secure, Contain, Protect. SCP. So I just know they exist, maybe some of what they've done and dealt with - or maybe I just know rumors."

The soldier sighs, glancing to his team.
"Well, if you already know about the Foundation, I suppose there's no use hiding it from you. And if you turn out to be GOC or Serpent's Hand, we'll just have to try our best to kill you. Anyways, I'm Johnson, this is Rick," he points to the one with the bandana, "my second in command, and this here," he indicates the squad in general, "is tau-4. We're supposed to be a dedicated backup task force. We were headed out to reinforce the boys monitoring SCP-090. Apparently, this morning it was showing 400-segment alignments on four sides, including local, so we get shipped off to keep an eye on the facility. Then, next thing you know, the sky's crashing down around us."
You are getting near to the ruins where the safehold is located.
"So what's your story?"

The Bridge of The Pride of Hiigara
The scanner responds fairly quickly: there is one marker showing in southern France, and one in New Jersey. Both are near cities, and both seem to be humanoids in the company of groups of normal humans.

'Hmm... I can perform a scrying on them, and then retreive them easily or even talk to them, without raising a fuss. Otherwise we should just moniter them and send out resource gatherers... And mayhap I should compose a missive for the Lady of Pain.'

[Morcleon]

Morcleon

Sighing as the sensors return the signal, Morcleon nods to Erik. "Yes, a scrying would be nice. Ask them if they need any help. If they do, we'll send some support."

"Meanwhile," he mutters as he rapidly begins entering coordinates, "The Pride shall be by the asteroid belt, harvesting resources."

"Karan, run up the hyperdrive core. ...wait, how many do we even have? Does this ship have the Bentusi or Vagyr cores?"

"We... have two cores. The Kushan and Bentusi cores. From the variety of enemies we have faced, I presume that the Vagyr have been 'resurrected' by the Enemy, and are currently in possession of their core."

"...damn. We're gonna have to steal it back to get the Sajuuk, aren't we?"

"Indeed. Alright, run up our hyperdrives. I've already set the coordinates."

The deck hums beneath the feet of the three Personae as energy gathers, and outside, a large blue screen opens in front of the vessel, dragging it into the depths of hyperspace. Destination: the asteroid belt.

Anyone remember which one 090 is?....actually, are all our sites even the same? Have we each read, like, AU versions of SCP?

"682 is teh bestest lizard evar?"

"Looking at your memories, discrepancies appear to be minimal - my own, for instance, does, or perhaps did, not contain a -j based off of Unit-01."

"So you remember what 090 is, right?"

"A (somewhat poorly regarded, as far as the article is concerned) Keter class object, resembling a Rubik's cube with 10,000 squares per face, and some sort of design etched into each square. It rotates autonomously, as if attempting to solve itself, and it is theorized that disasters can be predicted based on the number of correctly aligned squares in each configuration."

"And 400 is....?"

"Unprecedented by multiple orders of magnitude, as far as I am aware."

Kate stared at the soldier. "400....huh. Uh, my story....? Where to start....um, I can't say much right now, but....well, a couple of days ago (I assume), I and a small number of others were selected by a thingy from a higher plane of existence to help stop some approaching Bad Thing. So the thingy granted us some....rather odd abilities, and dragged us off to brief us and help us get a handle on the situation and our abilities and such. And then we may or may not have killed some minor evil god. And now we're back. We were going to regroup, discuss our next move, investigate some leads on potentially very useful resources, and so on, but that....isn't going quite as planned. For me, at least, I'm not sure about the others, though I feel like something very bad was happening at our meet-up point until very recently. So....yeah."

Erik nods, moving off a ways.

Once he is out of the way, he reaches into his bag of holding, and pulls out a mirror as big as a small table, something that surely couldn't fit. Using his access to the soul art he holds it in place on a wall, and begins a lengthy invocation, seeking to look in on the Persona in New Jersey.

At the end of the invocation, the mirror ripples, and, as he maintains concentration, an image begins to form.

As the scrying spell, but the warlock must concentrate throughout the casting, there is no maximum duration, and he can speak to the subject as with the message spell at any time, with no chance of failure. The warlock must utilize some method of folk divination (blood, chicken bones, mirror, palm reading, etc) in order to use this invocation.

"Yeah," answers Johnson, "well, normally, we'd probably be trying to secure you too given the whole 'special powers' thing, but right now? We're just trying to survive."
About this time, you arrive at the ruins proper. The squad moves up to an old cellar door reinforced with steel bands, and Rick opens it. They file in, one at a time, down the stairs below. You and Johnson are the last, and as you enter, you notice Rick catch Johnson by the shoulder and whisper something to him.
Once inside, you find yourself in a fairly large rectangular room. It is occupied mostly by various civilians crouched or sitting along walls and around pillars. You can make out what looks like a makeshift hospital near the far end, luckily sparsely populated.

Your spell shows you a female figure being guided into a hole in the ground by what appears to be a small military force. You recognize her as Kate. As you watch, the soldier holding the door to the hole looks up, straight at you, and flicks a small lens down from a headband hidden by his bandana. A frown appears on his face, and he whispers something to one of the others accompanying Kate.

Erik frowns as he whispers into the mirror.
"Kate, nod if you can hear me. No, of course you can look to the left and blink if you need any immediate help."
Even as he does this, he moves the point of perception to see Kate turn her head and follow her into the building.

[Morcleon]

Morcleon: Asteroid Belt, Sol

On the edge of the asteroid belt, there is nothing to disturb the monotony of the floating rocks. Until a large blue screen appears, dragging with it, the Pride of Hiigara.

"We have exited hyperspace. All systems nominal." Karan's voice emanates from the speakers. "Welcome to the asteroid belt."

Morcleon grins, tapping a few buttons. "Alright then. It's time to get some resources. Launch all ships. Send the resourcer out harvesting and have the interceptor squadrons escort it. We don't want a repeat of the Great Wastelands attack."

Pausing, he turns around in his chair. "Erik, you got anything on the scrying yet?"

Erik's eyes barely flick towards Morcleon.
"Yes, I found Kate, still waiting for a response which should be soon. I know it works at least."

[AkaiNeko]

Kate stares, just for a moment, as she realizes that she can't tell what was being whispered.

"That....that shouldn't be possible....how could that happen? NOTHING gets around my senses. This is not a good thing."

Kate, though more used to not having perfect awareness of her immediate environment than her past life, is nonetheless shaken, but soon has other things to worry about when Erik's voice echoes in her head. She slowly glances left and shakes her head, keeping her movements small. She then follows the soldiers inside.

Kate:
A Shelter
Once inside, Johnson walks up beside you.
"Sorry about that. Rick thinks we're being watched. He's our sniper and counterintelligence expert, so he's got all sorts of surveillance and counter-surveillance gear. The advances we've made with SCP-914 over the last ten years are really quite neat, and he get's to field test half of them. Anyways, welcome to our little sanctuary. Don't know what we're going to do now, but at least we'll be safe while we figure out."

Kate relaxed slightly. If 914 was involved, all bets were off.

Wait, what direction had he been looking....? And wasn't that the same Erik had....?

....well, that's fun. Um, HEY. CAN YOU HEAR ME?

"Kate, he would have just had us reply via thought if he could."

Right, dammit.

"Let it go for now. Even the Foundation probably can't do anything to them from here. We'll figure something out later."

"Ah, 914? That's nice. So, what are your plans for now? What's the state of the Foundation, and/or the world? Any major breeches, i.e. 682 or Able?"

Kate:
A Sanctuary
Johnson sighs. "I'm afraid to say that once again, we don't really know. We lost contact with comms just after we got grounded, so we don't have much information about what's going on aside from what we can see ourselves. Everything was fine before we left, if that helps."

Morcleon:
Outer Asteroid Belt
It seems as though you've been able to escape the chaos, at least for now. There's no one, or nothing, else out here, as far as you can tell.

Erik smiles, and whispering again into the mirror says.
"Ok, I will get back to you soon, hang in there."

Ending the spell, Erik looks towards Morcleon.
"Ok, Kate's safe for now, surrounded by soldier types but it seems peaceful. I distrubed her more than anything else. I'll go for the other signal now... Seems I'm visiting France."

Erik turns back to the mirror, and begins the ritual again, this time locking onto the persona in France.

The mirror clears, then shows a dark scene. The time difference means that the only immediately visible objects are the points of light created by sparks and explosions. There is quite clearly a battle going on, though increasing portions of the field are going dark. Suddenly, a wave of energy is emitted from the center of the field, briefly illuminating a figure with arms outstretched before flowing off in all directions. As the wave expands, everything it comes into contact with is destroyed. A half-second later, all that remains in a lone, hazy figure standing in the center of a huge crater. It is strangely indistinct, as though viewed through a column of heated air. With a sharp crack, it disappears.

"What in the name of heck!"
Erik begins quickly panning his feild of view as he looks for a persona. He knows he's locked on to someone, but not who he's attached to.
This time he whispers, his words intended to reach the person being scryed upon.
"Is anybody there that can here me. Wave your hands if you can."

The mirror remains black. No matter how far you scroll, you see nothing but darkness. You hear, briefly, a quiet, definitively evil chuckle, and for a second you think you saw a huge, grand hall in red and gold and black, then nothing. The mirror shatters.

Erik flinches involuntary as steel shards rain upon him. They couldn't hurt him but, nature had it's way.
"Morcleon, we need to take a look at France, 30 minutes ago would be best."
The tone of the last words were semi-sarcastic, but it was a known do it NOW! phrase.

[Morcleon]

Erik, Jacob, Morcleon:
Asteroid Belt, Sol/Portal to France

Raising an eyebrow, Morcleon chuckles. "Thirty minutes ago? Oh, I can do thirty minutes ago."

He rummages around in his coat for a few seconds, then extracts a small golden pocket watch. Flipping it open, he fiddles with the dials, and clicks it once. A large, swirling hole of crackling darkness opens up above the deck.

"France. Thirty minutes ago, to the second." He flourishes a hand at the portal. "After you. Erik, Jacob."

Once his two companions have begun to enter the portal, Morcleon plucks another hair from his head and blows it into a clone. "Keep harvesting the asteroids here and build up a respectable fleet. If anything bad starts to happen that you can't reliably handle, get out. I don't want to have to retake this ship... wait a minute, why am I even saying all this? You should know my instructions already. You are me, after all..."

Shaking his head in amusement, he steps into the portal after his two allies, closing it behind him.

A Field, at Twilight
The sun is just setting when you arrive. You are greeted by idyllic open fields, rolling gently over a few hills. To be specific, you find yourselves in a bit of a dip between two larger hills, with a third hill along one border and an opening to a largish hollow containing a small lake making up the other.
There is no one else here, yet.
Perhaps acquiring a vantage point would be a good idea... the third hill is the tallest of the three, and provides an ideal location to watch whatever is about to happen.

Erik had been surpised when Morcleon actually followed through with the possibility of going back by some 30 minutes, but he accepted the offer. Looking around now, he had to make some decisions. And finally, he rooted around in his bag of holding, and found two perfect items.

"Where going to need a good vantage point and a method of communication. I have two headsets that Phage will be done reprogramming soon to suit for communication, as for a vantage point though... I can take to invisible flight, and I could carry you two, but no while making you invisible."

With a pensive look, Morcleon nods somewhat absentmindedly as he scans the land and skies with his sharingan. "That'd be nice... The communication, I mean. I can fly and go invisible myself though..."

Kate decides to see if help can be rendered at the [Makeshift Hospital Area].

As you approach the hospital area, a new face rounds the corner from behind the boiler. It is another soldier, outfitted as the rest of Johnson's squad. He smiles, shifting a wave of light-brown hair specked with grey. You can see a medic's badge sewn on one shoulder of his uniform.
"Evening. I'm agent Daniels, nice to meet you. Are you hurt?"
