You don't like things that hiss at you. Or spiders.

But a hissing spider head-bucket that you've been wearing? You're not pleased at all about this and promptly use your flame to remove the hat-spider from existence.

    That's it.

There's nothing left but ash and the smudged monocle.

I think Dark made the right call by roasting it. If it was able to influence us just by sitting on our head, I dread to think what it would have done with our digestive tract.

Between drowning in lakes and demonic spiders, I've had enough of this road. I vote we wander off the road and explore the fields and meadows.

You decide to leave the seemingly endless and possibly cursed road and head off into the plains the path was bordering.

Bo-o-ring. Hide beneath the bridge, and prank the first boot monster passing through by burning its pants/skirt off unnoticed.

Eating for the most part I suppose. We're still relatively small on the super secret official Ooze sizing chart. Because we've only eaten small things so far. Just remember that being small has certain advantages over being giant. The same applies the other way around though.

As for growing in general, I've been playing around with the idea that we, as we grow, can also take on a different shape. So that we don't become some massive shapeless blob. Unless that's what we want.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it though.

You chomp into a nearby support beam for the bridge in a foolhardy attempt to absorb the wooden construct.

    *Thhhbbpt*
    Ew!

This bridge tastes like.. a bridge! While you try to get rid of the awful taste in your mouth, you recall that you only eat 'living' things.

Can we speak? Because if we can, we should totally set ourselves up as a troll under the bridge and demand that all passers bring us food -- if they don't, we burn their pants/skirt off as Andre suggested earlier.

We currently posses rudimentary communication skills which help us pass on and understand simple messages with most other creatures/monsters, etc.

But we can't speak the Boot-Monster language.

Sometimes, folks, a bridge is just pretty scenery, like trees.

I suspect if we keep chewing on the scenery instead of doing that results in the creation of plot, Miss Lirie will start losing the will to live.

So, my suggestion, let's follow the river for a bit.
