"No." She shrugged, "I do not think they prefer any location over another, my suggestion is the Eastern Continent in the unclaimed lands. Alchazzar
Morgash stood, motioning to all of the Circle of Darkness. "Fellow gods of darkness, a golden opportunity has presented itself... we have the chance to gain something for nothing. Foolish gods of good would likely allow us to have some of what we wish, in exchange for a promise of peace. I say that we take advantage of this, and gain a headstart on our conquest... what say you, brethren of the Circle?"

Tesingiis jumped to the occasion. He had such a representative. "I have a psychic link with an avatar of mine that's on the material plane right now. I shall send it to no-man's land on the eastern continent."
No-Man's land
Tresingiis's avatar had not attended to a specific task. It roamed the sky over the mortal world, flying around in circles, gathering information. Still, he was set on the eastern continent and therefore would not be aware of many world events. Tresingiis called upon it to fly to an unclaimed no-man's land for the meeting.
Tulmany
Drestin was in shock. What had happened? He didn't instantly obey the guards. He was caught off guard. He noticed Randon's expression, but was quickly sure he didn't know what was going on either. "In the name of Tresingiis, our founder and protector, I demand a summary of- I am Drestin. What the hell happened here?!"
The guards at this point, seized all but Randon and Drestin. The two where speaking, but it was not clear to them how bad of an idea it was to do so. At this point, Garrug chuckled. "You're hardly in a position to be demanding anything right now. Take them in binds. " He motioned to the guards to bind their arms behind their back. Most of them didn't resist.
Drestin wouldn't let them near him, "Get your hands off me, dissident!" At this point, spears where jolted near his throat, and would have been thrust at him if Garrug didn't speak up.
"Wait- They could be useful. Take the two of them (referring to Randon and Drestin) to Tylarch, ALIVE." They where seized by burly cretaum who had joined the guards. They could have resisted further, but it was clear they would be killed if they did. In the midst of it, Drestin and Randon lost track of the rest of the party, more focused on the paradox that confronted them. During the escort, they where kicked around and yelled at the whole time. The guards seemed to take sadistic enjoyment in their capture, like they could get away with treating these men like misbehaved cattle. On the path, they could see the other group of hunters being escorted by the original guards. It was a terrible sight, they had spears threatening the lot from behind. They joined paths for a short while, the two behind being escorted could see the rest of them led right at a crossroads where they turned left. Neither Randon nor Drestin could say what the fate of them might be. The reality set in: They where no longer safe after this chaotic war.
They where brought up to Tylarch where he was organizing scraps of what had been left behind by the Mirage Empire. "Who are the likes of you?" He spat. "Wait. . ." He looked at Drestin and Randon. "Ah, Drestin, ther've been some changes in leadership since they sent you off. Reddulch and most of your people have already forsaken your god. It might be hard to believe now, but he claimed ascension and stole from his own people, so a few of us liches have taken over now. We are once again The Lokab Empire to our very bones. We will take care of the people, we have given out rations that the false god had stolen, we are the old and new protectors of the desert of the shifting sands." He gazed into the eyes of Randon. "Tell me, I know who he is but who are you?"

Morgash grinned. It wasn't much different from his normal look, considering his head was a fleshless skull. But it could be seen, and felt, by the aura he exuded. "We get them to give us Hell." He laughed, his eerie voice echoing throughout Morgazzar. "I have no doubt that in exchange for peace, they will give us Hell, and a deal on how the Afterlife works. After all, we have the forces and strategy to take it ourselves. Agreeing to a deal like this would just allow them to do away with the mass bloodshed..."
Morgash summoned the Iridescent viewport, looking at different locations in the Mortal Plane. "Of course, we're going to attack them no matter the outcome of these talks... the question is where..."

Garden of the Dead Gods
From a hollow in the tree, a pulsing green energy could be seen. a mass of writhing vines climbs down from that hole, a green glow engulfing them.
"I... I am alive. Life is here... but not much. What is this place?" comes a deep voice from the center of the vines.Much thanks to Ceika for the poketar!

"Me? Oh, well, I'm a nobody really. My name is Randon, and I'm just a concerned citizen of the empire." He liked the sounds of what Tylarch was saying, that the people would be taken care of, but he didn't know what a lich was. "I'm not from around here originally, but I live here now. Who might you be?"
Garden of the Dead Gods
Kipt grew more and more attached to this new deity as he developed. "This place we are in now is the garden of the dead gods. You are a god, and you were born from a dead god, and also from me. Each of these trees represents the life force of a god who is no longer with us." Kipt walked along, through the trees, and expected his son to follow. "I suppose there is life here, but not in the conventional sense of the word. All of these trees represent life that once was."

The War in the North
Ah yes... The old open up the ground...
The wave of frost that moved in front of Rushaan formed into a bridge of ice across the impromptu chasm. He slid across and moved to circle around Nettal. The bridge he had crafted shattered and the fragments flew at the druid.

"I shall send Anzhela. Though I doubt they will accept our conditions."
A Lonely Mountain on Exaclone, Far From Anywhere
Out of a pocket, Polaris took out a pair of reading glasses and put them on. He took the contract and read it. After all, one should never sign anything without reading it first. It was surprising how many mortals made such a mistake.
"Everything seems to be in order. A standard near divine power in exchange for services rendered agreement."
He looked up at Reisen.
"By which I mean, I can see through this contract. You can no more offer me divinity than a common street merchant.
"But that is beside the point, the power offered is still substantial. However, we come to the question of the services rendered.
"A single favour to be named at a later date? Do you think I'm a fool? You certainly seem to be living up to your name if that is the case.
"You might as well ask for me to hand over my soul, but I don't have one."
Polaris reached into another pocket and took out a silver quill.
"Let's see if this can be amended, shall we?"

Garbed in the white robes of her position as Herald, Anzhela arrived at the meeting site. She felt a bit vulnerable without her sword, but she had left it behind for this was to be a conference of peace, not a denouncing of the forces of evil.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. "Oh, yes," Kipt replied, "Here, come with me, and I'll show you." He offered Graiah his hand, and shifts them to the material plane.
The two gods stand in space looking down upon the world. "This world among several others contains a variety of life. You may go down and see for yourself if you want, but as a seasoned god, I may not. I may not even life that I created myself. You too are welcome to create your own life to inhabit this world."

The Land that is Empty
A cloud of sickly green mist floated up from the ground, seeping through the dirt like sweat through pores. Dispersing, it left in it's wake a pale skeletal figure, with tattered robes and a polished skull. "Greetingsss... I am Drath, Lich in ssservice of Morgash..." it spoke, it's voice like a snake's hissing. The figure waved it's hand, conjuring a spectral throne for itself, and a table made of shimmering purple energy. Other chairs faded into view, all impressive, but slightly less so than it's own throne. "Sssit, please... the rest of my fellowsss will arrive sssoon..." Upon closer examination, it could be seen that the skeletal structure of the Lich before Anzhela was that of a Cretaum.
Drath sat motionless, a faint breeze blowing his tattered robes about, revealing faded runes set into some of his bones. Most likely runes of magical reinforcement, to keep his bones from snapping under pressure.

SpoilerHope you don't mind, but I'm taking over Nettal now
Nettal grunts as the shards of ice impact his body, however instead of doing noticeable harm, they are merely absorbed into his form.
"You are a skilled opponent, Rushaan. But While you are one, I am many." Out of the ground, many copies of Nettal rise to the surface, each one identical in every way to the original. "I offer you the chance to surrender once more, otherwise you will go to meet your father sooner than you wish."

The Land That is Empty
Anzhela eyed the chairs provided. It would not do to admit a position of inferiority... She sent a telepathic message to Belsheroth.
A little help here?
"I would prefer to stand, Mr. Drath. But if it is your wish that I be seated..."
The land they were on shuddered and rose into the air such that they were on a flat topped promontory surrounded by a sheer drop of over one hundred metres. The table and chairs conjured by Drath faded and were replaced by a massive circular table constructed of sandstone. Surrounding were thirty-nine marble thrones of white, gray or black marble, set with rubies, sapphires or amethysts. Each throne had a banner hanging from the back and golden symbols inscribed on the front. On many of the thrones, the banner was torn and the symbols did not shine. Around the edge of the promontory, nine sandstone columns rose into the air, each surmounted by a statue of one of the deities born at the beginning of time.
Drath was not displaced from his seat, rather it morphed into one of black marble set with amethysts. Anzhela took her place at one of white marble set with amethysts.
"There. This is much better. We are, after all, all equals here."
She awaited the arrival of the others.

SpoilerWelcome back.
I hope Rushaan destroying one of the copies is okay. I'm kind of going by the theory that they're substantially easier to destroy than the original.
"Surrender is not an option. Your allies would never honour it anyway.
"And I don't know about you, but I have already made my peace and do not fear death."
Rushaan somersaulted into the air and slashed one of the copies with his sword, a wave of ice projected out from it and cutting it in half. He exploded it into dust, once again obscuring him from sight. Out of the cloud of dust came a dozen illusionary copies of Rushaan that circled the original Nettal.Last edited by Elemental; 2012-09-25 at 12:46 AM.

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Garden of Dead Gods
The newborn plant god looks down upon the world below and says, "Yes... that world is much more alive. But it doesn't have enough life. It needs more. I thank you for this life, father. I am Graiah, and I will fill that world below with life. I will become Green."
The fledgling god descended to the world below, it appearance in the sky unnoticed and unheeded by the mortals below, seeing as only those of true faith could see the gods.
Graiah landed upon the waters, far from the land. There was life here, in these waters, but it was tiny, insignificant to most eyes. They could not see it, but Graiah could feel it. The god settled into the waves and began to settle onto the deepest parts of the ocean. From there, it blessed these tiny sparks of green life, multiplied their growth and infused them with a touch of his essence. They grew together in long, ropy coils, stretching themselves miles in length until their tips breached the surface of the ocean in tangled masses of life, life which faintly glowed with vitality. When fully mature, the Greensea Forest would bloom along the surface, bright red stalks holding golden buds of spores, which would burst open to spread the Green on the wind...
Whenever one of these blessed spores landed on a plant, that life would be blessed with renewed fertility and might. It would grow taller and stronger faster. When many such spores fell in a given area, there was a collective energy in such a place that those sensitive to magic could feel.
Spoilerap: =15-2(create land: the Greensea Forest)-2(infuse land:Greensea forest. In addition to the fluff benefits, Graiah's future creations will be getting a +2 to RCR when fighting on the Greensea Forest)-1 bless(about 10% of plant life in the world is now magical and are supreme examples of their species. They may be able to be cultivated later into having further properties...)
The Greensea Forest is a tangled mass of miles-long sea vines. It's about the size of RL Greenland, and the surface is densely populated with enough vines that it's like stepping on soggy ground. When the vines are in bloom, red stalks the size of a large pine tree grow up and form golden buds filled with spores, which will break open on the wind when fully mature. The red stalks will then wither away within a day.
Graiah lurked at the bottom at the bottom of his new forest, satisfied with his creation. He began to dig in his roots and commune with this new home of his.
The first animals to be effected by this forest were the krill that had fed upon the plankton. When they devoured some of this divine plant, they began to change. Just like their microscopic prey had grown into large colonies, their predators changed, growing larger. However, this was far from the only change to befall them. As they continued to consume the divine vines, they themselves came to partake of this essence until it suffused their entire being. The edges of their antenna began to glow with an eerie green light. These creatures could be found wandering all through the depths of the Forest. They came to be very territorial and did not tolerate outside creatures to inhabit their territory, channeling the energy stored at the ends of their antenna to smite intruders. The wyrdfish were the first to harness the power of the Greenvine.
Spoilerap: 9=10-1(create life: wyrdfish)
the wyrdfish are blue insect/shrimp/bacteria hybrids that glow green around the eyes and in lobes at the end of their antenna. As mentioned, their primary means of self-defense is to unleash the energy of the Greenvines through their antenna in shocks to smite intruders to the Forest. Think kinda like electric eels. Their bodies are about the size of a man's fist.

The Peace Conference
A trail of green smoke swirled around Anzhela and then appeared in the form of a shard of Isyldar on his throne, close to Drath. "Don't start without me Morgash. This could be quite the riot!" said the shard with a pointy grin and a cackle. Two shadowy Awakened appeared behind his throne, not quite corporeal, but ready to defend this piece of their master's essence if they had to.

"Of course Mr. Drath. If you wish to begin the talks without waiting for anyone else, I would be more than happy to hear what you have to say.
"Though I am rather upset that none of your compatriots will be attending. However, I do suggest waiting for the envoys of the other members of the Empowered Council. That way we won't have to repeat ourselves."
She shuddered inwardly as Isyldar went near to her and watched as he sat upon his throne of black marble with rubies.
"Lord Isyldar. I would request that you remove your servants from this place. This is a conference of peace, and you dishonour both sides by bringing bodyguards."Last edited by Elemental; 2012-09-25 at 01:10 AM.

Isyldar rolled his eyes. "Fine, if that is what you wish. It was more of a precaution anyhow" he said. his servants fading into the shadows. He summoned his hat, which functioned as a bowl for the fruit he filled it with and started to eat while he waited. "You two want any?" chuckled Isyldar.

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Depths of the Greensea
Graiah rested in the watery depths of his domain, enjoying the pure feeling of growth and green life spreading across the world. He sensed that he was not the only one to have created life on this world, although little attention was being paid to the green life already in existence. Why not? Were the small creatures on it ignorant of the glorious powers of the Green? Surely they must be, for they were not utilizing Life to its fullest potential.
Well, he was a god, was he not? It is his goal to create life, so create he shall. Perhaps if there were emissaries for the Green, the life on the continents would understand it better. While Graiah was pondering the best form for this life to take, one of the wyrdfish swam by him.
Hm... if the power of the Greenvine can do that by accident, then perhaps if it is focused properly...
Graiah will float to the surface of his forest and reach up a divine tendril to snatch a bird flying overhead. The lands and water stand divided from each other, but the air covered them both. An aerial messenger can more efficiently reach both.
He took the bird and wrapped it in the Greenvine, melding its life force into that of the bird's. Graiah wished to fill these creatures with the wisdom of the Green, so he modeled the shape of their forms off of the wisest thing he had encountered: his father. When the process was completed, he had the creature absorbed into the greenvines in the Greensea Forest.
The next morning, the forest had the most peculiar and beautiful bloom it has seen yet. Irridescent pink stalks grew up, each ending in a small bud. Within a week, those buds were three feet tall and nearly a foot across. On dawn of the seventh day, each bud opened at the same moment, freeing the newest race of creature from their birth chambers. These creatures were green fairies no more than two foot tall. Most of their mass were in their teardrop-shaped heads with short green vines for hair. their stubby round limbs ended in three digits. From their backs sprouted iridescent gossamer wings. These clever creatures had bright round eyes that spoke of innocence and curiosity. They at once began to swarm all over, curiously exploring all around them.
Soon they began to disperse and roam to explore all these curious things that were found in, on, and under this world.
Spoilerap: 5=9-4 (create fabled life: Vine Sprites)
they're as described above. They are born with intimate knowledge of how to work the energy found in life, as well as manipulate plant life. They have considerable powers they can draw on from this understanding to perform magic. Specifics will be created as concepts they teach to others.
IMPORTANT NOTE: they are not aware of Graiah's existence. They do not revere him and are fully effected by the atheism curse. They just honor Life itself and seek to learn about and spread knowledge of the Green.
if anyone would like to rp one of their followers meeting a Vine Sprite, feel free to write an encounter with one.
The Battlefields in the North
One Vine Sprite found herself wandering far from her home all the way over to a strange piece of land. There were life-things killing each other up there. She did not understand. Why were they killing each other? They didn't seem to eat each other, instead their Life was being consumed by the smaller things that replenish all the scraps. Why were they so devoted to feeding the carrion eaters? Did they worship the worms of the soil to feed them so?
Brimming with questions, this Vine Sprite flitted over to one of the fallen and dying creatures.
"Why are you so devoted?" it asks the dying soul.
Spoilerthe details of exactly what the creature is intentionally left vague so that anyone involved in the war in the north can claim this as theirs.Much thanks to Ceika for the poketar!

Morgash chuckled, watching Drath through the Iridescent Viewport. He tilted his head, then rose from his seat. "There is a hole in reality... right... there." he said, pointing just past Anzhela. "What in the world is... hmm" He cast his spirit into the hole, fishing within it. For several moments, his skeletal body sat there, motionless, lifeless. Then, it snapped back to reality, and had on it a malicious grin. The Returned strode to the balcony, opening the doors. He began shouting in his ancient tongue of magic, creating many long strands of magic. The whole of the Void began to heat up, and even Gods would get uncomfortable.
Finally, Morgash finished his incantation, yanking on the strands of magic he had created. They flew past him, into Morgazzar. They coalesced into a humanoid shape, and Morgash cackled, stepping forward. "Another son... I'm on a roll."

One by one the copies of Nettal exploded into waves of emerald flame, engulfing the entire battlefield in their inferno. The flames washed over the field of battle rushing towards Nettal who was now wreathed in druidic fire, a towering engine of nature's wrath.

The humanoid shape flexed his body and all the remaining strands broke, absorbed in a split second into its form; Raphael was complete.
He looked around disappointed and bristling with power, looking for who or what was able to "made" him from the chaotic energies of The Void.
Spotting Morgash he immediately kneeled in front of him:
"Father" he began with a deep voice "I am yours to command, speak your will and see it done"Last edited by Killerloop; 2012-09-25 at 02:57 PM.

Acabare
With the departure of his son, Kipt came together once more. He felt a lot better about himself now, knowing that there was someone else in this existence similar to him again. Someone who he would care for, and love.
"I have made something that will assist our forces should we go to battle- unicorns. There are plenty for all, and they may serve as mounts for a cavalry unit. Unicorns are good creatures by nature, and will not serve under a rider with bad intentions. They are capable of a rainbow charge once every several hours, and a strategist might use them to charge, then retreat on a battlefield. Right now they are being stabled on an asteroid near the heavens, may they serve you well."
Jewel: A change of course
Jewel and Jib had only just got to Monte Mora when they were approached by an Archon, and told of the meeting that Jewel was asked to attend. Jib had his doubts about him at first, but Jewel felt something in him, some part of her father's essence that told her she could trust him.
"But not with out Jib," she had said at first. When he insisted, Jib finally assured her, "It's ok, you need to go. We will be together again." They kissed, and she was off to the council.
The Archon bought her a hippogriff, saying that it was the best means of travel in this mountainous terrain, but to make sure she sat in her saddle tight. Jewel knew she could always slow fall, but she thanked him for the advise anyways. Besides, a hippogriff did seem like the only real way to get passed the mountains in a timely manner, she saw. He told her that she only really needed to fly into the unclaimed lands, and that if she did, someone would soon contact her. So she did. On her first day of flight, she made it as far as the northernmost abandoned brass gnome city, where she found suitable place to spend the night. Riding posed a different challenge than a sea voyage, and her thighs ached from it, so she decided to take the next day off. There was plenty to eat n the ghost town, and the Archon made it seem like she was in no rush, and not actually going anywhere specific to begin with.

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Garden of the Dead Gods
As the son of Kipt walked out of the tree of Kiloasa, he felt a slight divine touch. The spirit who slept in the tree had once had a name. He had been called Aquaeris. He had created life.
Now he was nameless and two. One half continued to slumber, giving life to the dead garden. He was the lighter of the two and the elder. The other saw Graiah leave. This half was sick, evil, and slightly insane. He had last been awake when the Deepspawn had roared in the depths in anger at their god's brokenness and at his evil sister. Now he could not go among his peoples anymore.
The figure formed into a misshapen blob, then into a tentacled horror with dragonlike wings, only much greater than the Deepspawn who had inspired it. Its eyes glowed with twisted light, and its body was a writhing mass of tentacles. From it, sharp bones protruded and oozed blood. It spoke three words in an archaic tongue, and a portal sprung into existence, glowing with blue light. A violet Light flew out.
"M-milord? Are you alright?"
"I am. I require thee to request an audience with my brother, Kipt."
"He just left."
"Indeed. Call him anyway, Alia, so that I may contribute to our cause."
Alia gulped, but dove back through the portal, her wings shimmering as she did.
The horror shook, and its form warped into a near-Kalpan one. The light that shone from the eyes of the Kalpan was toxic, though, and bright, not the gentle, healing light of Aquaeris. Its voice was normal once more.
"Better."
Acabarė
The violet Light dove through a shimmering hole in the sky, back to Acabarė. "Lord Kipt, Aquaeris has... Recovered, and is ready to aid his cause."
There was an odd uncertainty to the word 'recovered' that sounded almost scared.Characters in Lords of Creation games:

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
[Alchazzar]
Savorla stretched languidly as she watched the peace talks, clearly at ease, though after a moment, she planted a quick kiss on the cheek of the Changeling in her lap, then gently pushed her away, standing as she did.
"Hm... I feel in a mood to indulge her wish for more people, I think."
With that, unless someone stops her somehow, Savorla vanishes, slipping out of time, and dragging Anarya with her, as she does.
[Beyond the Hourglass]
"It's been a long time, Savorla... I thought you'd forgotten me," her Chosen said, frowning fiercely, and showing little sign of pleasure at her goddess's appearance. "Especially when you stopped talking to me. But it seems you simply decided to ignore me?"
Savorla blinked in surprise, and, after a moment, drew her lover into an embrace, which, though it wasn't returned, at least wasn't rebuffed, either.
"I thought much the same... But what do you mean about not talking to you? So far as I've heard, you haven't said anything to me since I said goodbye to you in Freeport."
"I've been trying to get you to talk to me since the day after that," Anarya answered after a moment, returning her goddess's hug as she did. "You haven't heard, me then?"
The deity shook her head, the ice she seemed to have over her eyes apparently thickening, and a cold anger settling in her expression.
"No, I haven't... Something is interfering, it seems. But we have even more pressing matters to deal with than that, I think. Such as the corrupted spark in you."
"That wasn't a gift from you, then?", the human asked, sounding surprised, and scared, clinging to Savorla a bit more tightly as she spoke. "Or did I do something to it to make it corrupt?"
"It was nothing you did, Anarya," Savor reassured the woman, stroking her hair, and kissing her forehead. "And no, it wasn't a gift from me. But I think I can purify it, and make it a true gift, instead of one with a sting in the tail..."
SpoilerStarting AP: 9
Anarya
Starting AP: 4
Join Pantheon - The Circle of Darkness (-1 AP): Anarya, as a former follower of Savorla, and a deity who, essentially, owes her fealty, is trying to "get in on her coattails", so to speak.
4 + 2 = 6
Bless (-1 AP): Anarya is now a true deity, and will no longer explode when she has more than four AP, instead being limited only by the upper limit of her divine rank, though she never gains more AP than a mortal with a false spark at each rollover. She also shares an AP pool with Savorla; though they can each have, individually, up to the maximum amount for their Divine Rank, they can also freely use the other's AP.
Transfer AP (-2 AP): Transfer two AP to Anarya.
Join Pantheon - The Circle of Darkness (-1 AP): Savorla, assuming Morgash's invitation still stands, is now a member of The Circle of Darkness.
9 - 4 = 5
[The Land That is Empty]
After no time at all, for they had been outside of it, Savorla and Anarya appeared in The Land That is Empty, Savorla taking a seat in her grey and amethyst throne as they did, Anarya in her lap.
"You seem to have spoken a bit hastily. He had permission to begin, yes, but no-one said others wouldn't attend...
And before you complain about bodyguards again, Anarya is my lover, and a goddess in her own right, as well as a member of The Circle, so she has every right to be here."

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Tulmany
"My name is Tylarch, I am the lichlord of the unbroken Lokab Empire. Our liches are much older than you might think." He looked at Randon for a second, perceiving his weapons and confused stance. "Do you know what it means to be a lich? A lich is a powerful sorcerer who devotes their life to blasphemy; We hate the so called, 'divinity.' They're no better than any of us, no smarter, and not worth more. They're spoiled for what they've got and they chose strife over peace. Their strife would lead a billion billion lives to their tortuous and unnecessary deaths. Being a lich wasn't easy for the longest time. Now it seems, we aren't alone on this train of thought. You're a hunter, a noble cause. you would then be trained with a bow and arrows then? Yes? This is what liches fight with:"
He called forth one of the bound spirits he had accumulated and rotated its energy in his palm. He toyed with it, as it writhed in pain, longing to be free. He clenched his fist around it and it collapsed. He pointed and made a sign to the ground and released a burst of lightning. "That is our way. That has been our way for thousands of years. Reddulch had claimed divinity, we proved he was not the god he claimed to be. We scared him off, and liberated the food he had stolen. We're dolling out rations, where he could do nothing but steal and sit on his chair."
He fluffed his ravenkin wings for a second before imposing a question. "Tell me, after hearing this. Who's side are you on? I promise you ours is doing more to help the people than anyone else's, despite our crude methods."
Michael and Sofia
Michael spoke with fear in his voice. "No. They where all killed, it couldn't be a lich. You remember the ruined Lokab empire, yet. . . It appears to be so. It would have to be someone who became a lich since the falling of the first Lokab empire. But I can't believe the Empire has been captured. . . What can we do about this?"
Acabare
Tresingiis said to the group, "What do we want out of these talks of peace? Just peace? The lack of attack? Cease fire?"
The Land that is Empty
With new Coordinates, Tresingiis's avatar flew to where the other representatives where gathered.
Much Less significantly, Jib
Jib sought out his family. He hadn't seen them since he left Monte Mora on the ship. His worst fears where realized: While he had gone, his mother passed away. She was on a path walking to the Fertile Valley, looking for Jib when she was burnt to a crisp by a passing drake.
Jib was crushed. He begged his father for forgiveness, which he gave. "It's not your fault, Jib. Who would have expected a drake to attack the Fertile Valley by chance when she was out? Nobody expected the dragons to attack them."
"Of course it was my fault! I was off getting shipwrecked, falling in love, and learning magic tricks while my mother was searching endlessly for me! She died looking for me, worried sick."
"You didn't kill her."
"I might as well have."
Jib left his house, swearing and regretting. He thought to cheer himself up by finding an old friend. Try as he might, he couldn't find any of his friends who weren't coupled and at work or drunk in a stupor. Jib missed the adventures he had with Jewel. Nothing else in his life did he think was much fun anymore. Maybe he could just run away again, and further hide from life in society. He sighed and returned home, to lay on his bed and sleep, that is all he could think to do at the time.
SpoilerThis is endgame for Jib until the next plot that wants to involve him comes around.

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Conversation With a Vine Sprite
The warrior did not open his eyes. All around him was the din of battle, but it had faded away to nothing. Death would be soon and he rested as his life force slowly died. His rest was broken by the voice of the Sprite.
"Here I am dying, and the Angels ask me riddles...
"I am devoted to my home and my family so that they will be free. Is not freedom worth sacrificing everything?"
He began to cough.
The War in the North
SpoilerBy entire battlefield, do you mean entire battlefield, or just the arena that Nettal set aside for this fight? Because that's what I'm going by.
"That is where you are wrong. Death is for everything that lives, otherwise life has no meaning."
Rushaan watched as the fire enclosed upon Nettal, still concealed within the cloud of dust. The heat of the fire tried to burn him, but his magic dampened it, and the flames tried to catch on his cloak, but they found no purchase.
He briefly took stock of the situation. Fire, loads of it, and a person with stone for skin. Eyes obviously a weak point, but too protected...
The illusionary copies of Rushaan began to spin around Nettal, going too fast to be seen. They whipped the air into a frenzy, drawing in smoke and dust and forming a whirlwind.
"But I do not expect you to realise that. You have clearly lived apart from the world for too long. And don't lecture me about being in touch with nature, you know that's not what I meant.
"Until you have seen the joy of life as clearly expressed by those who live it and cherish it knowing it ends, then you know nothing worth knowing."
Arcabare
Belsheroth was troubled by what the Light said, but many things troubled him at this time.
"I do not know what we hope to achieve from these talks of peace Tresingiis. I am surprised they agreed to them in the first place."
The Land That is Empty
SpoilerI raise an objection to Anarya being elevated to status as a true deity. Could we have a mod ruling on this? Otherwise, I feel it would set a dangerous precedent.
"Lady Savorla... She will have to leave. This table is only for deities and their representatives. As Anarya is neither despite your claims, she will have to go.
"No disrespect is meant on my part and that of Lord Belsheroth's, but we feel that you disrespect us by doing so."
She looked Anarya directly in the eyes and spoke further.
"I apologise Ms. Anarya, you may listen in from afar if you so desire."Last edited by Elemental; 2012-09-26 at 12:49 AM.

Re: Lords of Creation: Boundless Wonder, Endless Strife. [IC] [Part II]
Conversation With the Dying Man
This answer confused the little sprite as much as her question had the dying soldier. He does not wish to feed his body to the scavengers, yet he seems willing to do so for this "freedom" thing. She didn't understand why feeding scavengers gave things "freedom".
Still, this creature seemed to be suffering. "Do you want the pain to be gone?" it asked the dying man.Last edited by planswalker; 2012-09-26 at 12:22 AM.
Much thanks to Ceika for the poketar!
I'll be away from the internet from 1/3-1/8 2019. I swear I'm not disappeared.
