"Works for me. Do you think I should let someone know where I'll be or something?"

[Vesa's]
She nods, stretching a bit.
That would be a responsible thing to do.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
"Alright. I'll go track down someone later, then..."

[Vesa's]
For now, is there any activity that interests you, or would you prefer to continue our current relaxation?

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia shrugs, smiling.
"Up to you, dear. I'm fine either way."

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
I am content as we are now.
The pale woman gently explores the contours of her friend's upper back and shoulderblades.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia smiles, apparently enjoying her friend's explorations of her back, and, after a bit, goes to slip out of the somewhat battered shirt she's wearing to allow Vesa to do better.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
Vesa gently moves her friend to have her lay back-up on the bed so she can better knead and rub.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia sighs happily, enjoying the massage; the blue-haired girl has rather a lot of scars, and seems to be extremely tense, even with the fact that she's relatively relaxed now compared to her normal state.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
You are extremely tense. Is something bothering you?
She continues to massage---she's a novice to the trade but not that bad.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
"It's just... Everything piles up, you know?"
She sighs, shrugging slightly, and wishing that she could actually bring herself to tell Vesa the major part of what's actually bothering her.

[Halae]

[Security]

"There is nothing that requires your immediate attention, Evanasgrix," Merakiel declares. The digital presence has trouble discerning the reasoning behind such a silly little lie. Why would Evan say he takes breaks if he never needs them? "Please enjoy your break."

[Lobby]

Whether a mage thinks of himself as a weapon or not makes no difference to the guard. The potent destructive aspect of magic is the only kind that matters to an executive officer in the ESA.

"How would you describe your school of magic, Mister...?" The security guard asks, standing in front of the mage and guessing at his gender. It's really rather hard to tell. "Elexxion is attempting to design a categorical system encompassing every form of observable magic. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated."

[Security -> Employee Lounge]

Evan will nod and head off to see Tina. when he enters the room, he'll quietly say "Hey there Tina," hoping she hears him through her chatting and surfing and such.

[Lobby]

"I'm a generalist. I can tell you about each of the different forms of arcane magic present in a great deal of worlds. Not all of them, mind, but quite a few," The mage says, "My name is Sora Talric."

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
She nods understandingly, continuing to massage.
I understand that stress can accumulate with alarming speed.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia nods, starting to relax a bit, though a few moments later, she tenses up again, falling into a pattern of this as the massage continues.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
You are still stressed, Wolf...
I have been told that voicing one's problems can relieve anxiety. What is troubling you?

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia blushes, and fidgets nervously with the sheet, but doesn't answer.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
Vesa frowns, leaning closer.
W... Alia, please talk to me. I cannot help you if you don't tell me anything.

[The Alexandrian]

[Surgical Wing]

"Trust me, ma'am, your back is just lovely," Gary says, and after realizing how that might sound, he tries to bounce back with something witty. "And Elexxion hasn't paid me to say that, I assure you."

[Surgical Wing]

"If Elexxion didn't pay you to say that, you're being cheated, Gary."

Spec laughs, taking Gary's comment both as a compliment and a guarantee. She continues donning her clothes as she slowly proceeds toward the door!

"Regardless, my back feels healthier than ever before."

Her back is comfortable again!

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Vesa frowns, leaning closer.
W... Alia, please talk to me. I cannot help you if you don't tell me anything.

[Vesa's]

Alia sighs, turning over to look at her.

"I... I care about you, Ves... More than as a friend..."

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
She blinks, confused.
So... you also are... romantically interested in me?
I think I may need some explanation, please.
She keeps massaging, tilting her head in curiosity.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]

Alia nods, worriedly curling in on herself, clearly thoroughly nervous about this line of questioning.

"That's basically it, yeah... Sorry."

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
"What about me is desirable?" She works at her back.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]

"I... Well... You are. You're one of the few people who's actually been nice to me, and the others are all gone now. And then you're pretty, too, which doesn't hurt at all..."

She still seems rather worried, seeing as she expects this to end horribly badly, though she's a touch less worried than she was at the start, since Vesa hasn't kicked her out yet.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
I see... thank you.
I am not very sure how to proceed, but I am glad you told me this.
She gives her friend's hand a gentle pat.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia nods, though despite the reassurances and the hand-pat, she curls tighter in on herself, plainly not much calmer than she was without them.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
The pale girl frowns, rubbing her friend's back.
Alia, please do not worry. I am not angry with you...

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia sighs quietly, and goes to hug her friend tightly, burying her face in the Revenant's shoulder.

[Beans]

[Vesa's]
The pale girl holds her friend close, patting her back.
I'm really not sure how to help you, Alia...

[Lady Serpentine]

[Vesa's]
Alia freezes for a moment, before looking up at her friend nervously.
"What do you mean?"
