Just to get things moving along, the individual prices are straght from the DMG, the cheapest being about 1500gp going up to 4000... I know it's a bit mean flashing them under your noses but I rolled randomly for all but the mummified hand.

OK, so we could probably just about make the cheapest, if we pooled three or more people's funds. At this point, it's probably not worth it, and we should keep back a little gold for spending.

IC, just roleplay-wise, everyone wanting to get moving, and your character doesn't seem too... just warning you that the rest of your party is very dangerous if provoked... not looking at everyones equipment.

I didn't mean anything by it, it was just Halabur was making comments that seemed to want him to get beaten "hehehe, he said wazoo" that would be very annoying, like laughing at an important speech.

You did say that if the guy heard screaming it meant the deal was off, and I thought that was what you were trying to achieve.
EDIT: I meant it as a way to complement you on getting close to what I thought you were trying to achieve.

We will buy many ponies and teach them to eat gnomes... THAT must have been why there were no gnomes in LOTR, they were all eaten by ponies.

I hate to tell you this, but Tolkien used "Gnome" as a alternative term for "Noldor" (High Elf) in some of his early drafts.

And then he threw the term out for being too bloody silly.

So, Gnomes. Officially the fantasy race that Tolkien couldn't find a way to make respectable. God knows why they're in the game.

And yes, I've read plenty of fantasy novels that weren't LOTR. And none of them had gnomes.

I love how it seems the PCs seem to think they're in different genres of work.

@Marlowe: Huh, which genres do you think for each one?

@Malak'ai: Is it just before sunset, in which case we have plenty of light to see with, or just after sunset?

@Wordplay: It's about half an hour after sunset, but there is enough residual light to see. Mostly you will be seeing in tones of grey, without being able to make out fine detail, but you'll be able to tell if your about to walk off a cliff.
