Harnel stands up and walks over to the crib, picking up Cora. the baby dragonblood makes that giggling sound unique to babies as Harnel goes to put her on Zelia's lap, "You're welcome to come over any time to see them, Zelia. Cora, at least, seems to like you."

[Shadowcaller]

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"I'm sure Bastion likes me too, in his own special little way." Zelia replies as she smilingly looks at the little sleeping dragon-boy while hugging Cora gently.

"By the way, do you think I could have some of those apples of yours?"

[Halae]

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"They aren't mine to give, or I would," Harnel says, "You'd either have to ask Cessie, or get one from Terrie herself. She's a friendly dryad whose tree is in Watchtower; if you ask, she'll probably give you some."

[Morty]

[Dining Room]

After a moment, Crissy recovers a bit, blushing. But not letting go, not yet anyway.
"Um, maybe we should, like, go see if we can help with anything?"

[Dining Room]

"Yeah, we should. We could at least help check on the babies if they're having trouble." Syela says. She may or may not want to use this as an excuse to see what's going on upstairs in general.

"I'm not really good with children," Dorota says uncertainly. "But... maybe we should go see what the explosion was about. Cessie might not appreciate it, though. She's a pretty private person. But if it's dangerous, it'd be stupid to just sit here, wouldn't it?" She starts to get up from her chair.

[The Bushranger]

"Yeah, like totally!"
Crissy approves of Dorota's logic!
And she hops up to follow!

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"A dryad you say? That could be fun..." Zelia says thoughtfully. "But you have to remember, all mithar woman are very dominant so they need a husband who can't be bossed around so easily. You have to tell me her secrets from time to time you know?" She says with a smile.

[Gullara]

[Dining Room]

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Syela gets up to follow, pretending she just doesn't want to satisfy her own curiosity.

[Baby Room - Kirin]

The Catgirl maid is going to have a little trouble there, as Bastion, in all his grumpiness, won't calm down. which, of course, keeps Cora from calming down. Maybe he needs something to soothe him?

Kirin, after a bit, calms down and thinks... oh, a lullaby.

After a minute, Kirin sings a song that she was sung when she was little. While she may not have an amazing singing voice, she knows it by heart and is willing to rock the two of them until they go to sleep.

"I'm not being bossed around into giving you Cessie's secrets, now am I?" Harnel asks with a grin.

[Cessie's Laboratory]

Harnel just sort of frowns, the worry going away and replaced by a bit of annoyance. He'd been worried! an explosion like what that sounded like could have destroyed Cessie, not to mention part of the keep. He sighs, "Alright, just a minute."

Harnel will move to pick Conflict up, and if nothing happens, he'll rest the blade on his shoulder, holding it in one hand.

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"Ordering? I'm just suggesting things for your own good here mister. You need to relax a bit, as do my great granddaughter." Zelia replies with a smile. "Maybe you both should eat those apples and have some fun together huh? I bet you'd like that."

[Cessie's Laboratory]

"Hmm... no real change. It's loyal to you though." Cessie says in a disappointed tone as she looks at the sword.

Then it appears Dorota and her gang of misfits have decided to follow the half-dragon upstairs!

The mage don't seem to take any notice of them however and turns back to a book laying wide open on her desk. "I wonder what would happen if I awakened the kami artificially. Would you approve of that? It would be really interesting!" She exclaims without even looking at her husband.

[Halae]

Kirin, after a bit, calms down and thinks... oh, a lullaby.

Both babies are surprised into being quiet by the singing; Harnel doesn't have a good singing voice, so he reads stories more than he doesn anything else, and Cessie isn't the type, so they're caught off guard by the melody. That's good; it means that they're listening. By the end of the lullaby, Cora is falling asleep again, though Bastion is still being grumpy and staying awake. at least he isn't crying any more, and will probably nod off within a few minutes.

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"We have before, yes," Harnel says with a grin. He can just imagine Cessie looking embarassed due to his saying that.

[Cessie's Lab]

"What exactly did you do to it, anyways? And what do you mean 'awaken the kami'? You mean the kami in my sword?"

[Morty]

[Cessie's Lab]

Dorota coughs awkwardly. "Um, hello? Is everything alright? That was quite the explosion."

[The Bushranger]

[Cessie's Laboratory]

Crissy peeks around Dorota, a little nervously, and nods.
"Yeah. We were, like, totally worried!"

[Gullara]

[Cessie's Lab]

Syela doesn't speak up, but she does look to make sure Cessie is alright. Really, though, she's mostly curious about Cessie and what she's doing up here, so her eyes quickly roam around the rest of the lab.

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"Ha! I knew it!" Zelia exclaims, "You aren't as proper as you look are you?" She asks with a knowing smile, she might have figured out this a long time ago.

[Cessie's Lab]

"I attempted to see how it reacted to exposure to the elemental realm." Cessie explains absentmindedly as she flips through her book, but as she hears Dorota's voice she can't help but to facepalm. "Now couldn't you have closed the door?"

Dorota is probably the only one that will notice Cessie looks different, the most obvious clue being her very long red hair that almost seem to float. Not to mention her dress appears to be a bit tighter in certain areas.

[Halae]

[Baby Room - Zelia]

"I look 'proper' because Cessie likes it. If not for her, I'd probably be a lot more lax in how I approach this sort of thing, but I don't like getting on her bad side," Harnel says with a shrug. Silly Harnel; no husband wants to get on his wife's bad side.

[Cessie's Lab]

Harnel gives Cessie a verbal poke, "Couldn't you have remembered to soundproof the room?"

[Morty]

[Cessie's Lab]

Dorota shuffles her feet awkwardly. So that's what the fey apples did to Cessie. She doesn't find it that embarassing, but she knows Cessie looks at this sort of thing differently. She avoids looking at the sorcress'... enchanced attributes. The only set of boobs she's supposed to care about is Crissy's.
"Sorry about walking in like that, but we were a bit worried. Looks like nothing happened, though." Somehow the explosion doesn't seem to have actually damaged anything.

Crissy notices the tightness. Blushes. Looks down at her own chest, crossing her arms over it and looking a bit...self-consious!
"Y-yeah. We were worried and wanted to, like, be sure you were alright..."
She then decides that staring at Cessie's hair might be a good idea.
...which just makes her more self-consious. So she looks down again.

[Gullara]

[Cessie's Lab]

"Yeah, worried." Syela agrees absentmindedly. She spares not a thought for Cessie's breasts or what size they are.

Your OOC text is all focusing on the wrong thing here!

"I was distracted okay?" Cessie says with a glance at Harnel. "I was trying to calculate the correct amount of peregrination within the circle to cause a reaction from your sword. But nothing." She shrugs. "That was still within the safety limits however so if I can just strengthen the wards- oh, hi Dorota!" The mage is momentarily distracted from her train of thoughts as she happen to notice the alchemist. "Are things working out with Garn?" She asks curiously before turning around to grab a jar from her alchemist table.

"Yes and no," Dorota says, her confusion regarding the explosion and Cessie's transformation overcome by scientific curiosity. "We noticed he can't speak and seems a lot more simple-minded than Sizewell. We were just about to engage in some more thorough testing when we heard the explosion."

Crissy just nods, and says nothing more.

Sword? Syela's quickly identifies the sword in Harnel's grip (if I recall) as what must b the sword she's talking about. Hm, what could be so special about it?

Baby Room - Kirin

Kirin will stay and rock the babies until they are fast asleep. Grumpy little bastion will nod off sooner or later, and Kirin is content to watch the children until he does.

Bastion does indeed nod off after a while, unable to stay awake despite his grumping. This time he falls asleep on his stomach so that his wings have time to spread out, and Kirin will see them twitch from time to time.

[Cessie's Lab]

"So was I," Harnel says flatly, but with a hint of mirth to his voice, "Well, not really any use hiding out now, is it? I'm fairly certain that Kirin's taken care of the twins by now, given that they aren't crying anymore. Why don't you come down and get what's left of the casserole, and then have some cake? Experiments can wait until after dinner."

[Cessie's Lab]

"No, no, no." The sorceress repeats to her husband with a shake of her head while turning back to face him, jar still in hand. "By my calculations there should be only be three hours and thirty-four minutes left before the aether leaves my system and in that time I need to put it at maximal use. No more wasting valuable time like during those other occasions, I need to be focused here!" Cessie exclaims before glancing at Dorota. "Umm... so what were you saying about Garn? I believe some basic language lessons might be in order. Possibly interacting with Sizewell or the children." She states with an thoughtful expression.

[Morty]

[Cessie's Lab]

"Well, yes. We were going to have him talk to Sizewell before... you know." She pauses. "He also seems rather distrustful of everyone until one of the inhabitants of the house calm him down."

[The Bushranger]

[Cessie's Lab]

"Um, well, like, see, that's a good trait in a bodyguard I guess? But beyond that he needs to be a little more on the trust side of trust but verify," Crissy says.

As she gives Dorota an odd look with regards to Cessie's Spark-like mannerisms.

[Halae]

[Cessie's Lab]

Harnel moves to put the sword back on the table, and then moves towards the door, "Then I'll bring the food up here. I'm not letting you spend the next four hours without something in your stomach."

Unless stopped, Harnel will descend into the dining room to scoop up dinner and desert. since he doesn't travel instantly, obviously, they'll have a round or two of conversation before Harnel comes back up.

"Remember to bring water!" Cessie tells Harnel before turning back to Crissy and Dorota. "That would be my brothers influence, he wanted him more as a bodyguard as your betrothed suggested. I could always loan you him a while, letting him and Sizewell get to know each other better." She suggests while starting to pour dust into the circle which she made around the sword earlier.
