The movie continued without interruption although it was doubtful that it was paid as much attention as it might usually garner. The film went on to show more about the main protagonist, a person called Barbra Shanks, as she visited her psychiatrist's office several times, the location in question slowly becoming a sort of isle of safety as things 'outside' began to grow stranger and the 'things' grew more overt in their attempts to take over. It was strange in how she felt she was the only one until she met another, a man named Jacob Westley, who could see the same things as her. During the climax, the both of them were running through the streets as the architecture became increasingly alien as they fled from the monsters with the strange and grotesque faces until they somehow wound up inside the office of Barbra's psychiatrist. From there, the film began showing scenes in dissonant views as the office would be both dilapidated and alien for one moment but clean and a bit stuffy in another. Finally, the movie ended with things seemingly returning to normal with Shanks and Westley falling asleep in a shared bed only for the last scene to pan out with the room slowly falling back into that alien design as they closed their eyes.

Riss likely would have enjoyed the film by itself more if she had the opportunity to focus on it more but she couldn't say she minded the company distracting her either. Still, by the end of it, the muse was a bit antsy to move for more reasons than just being in one place for so long while simultaneously watching the credits reel under the guise of waiting for a stinger so she could continue to draw a few last flavors from Misha's finger while she could. While Mimi wasn't ignored either, The muse's hand eventually slowed to gently resting a few fingers on the pixie's back as time went on. But hopefully the pixie wouldn't mind the lack of motion too much, at least.

Still, once the film had finally ended, it would be a few moments before Riss would manage to work up the mental effort needed to remove the nereid's finger from her lips again although she would leave a light kiss behind as she did so and it would be obvious that it was done with more than a little regret. "So, what did you all think?"

[Maera's]

Maera nods, going to lead her over to the couch.

"I've met a few people like that, yeah... Are you going to talk to her again?"

[Beans]

[Maera's]
WE EXCHANGED TELECOMMUNICATION IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS, YES
Eo nods simply.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera grins, giggling.

"How did you like her?"

[Beans]

[Maera's]
I FOUND HER QUITE PLEASANT
She tilts her head to the side, looking a little inquisitive about the question.

Maera smiles at her.

"What's up? You look like you're curious about something..."

She blinks.

[Maera's]

"Not amusing, exactly, just... You met a cute girl who you thought was nice, you two got each other's numbers, and you seemed quite happy about it when you got back, so I was wondering if you were thinking of going out with her."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
Eo thinks about this.

[Maera's]

Maera nods, grinning at her.

"Yep! Specifically a romantic one."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She seems to think a bit more.
I KNOW VERY LITTLE OF ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS
HOWEVER I AM RECEPTIVE TO THE IDEA
SHOULD I INQUIRE AS TO WHETHER SHE WOULD BE INTERESTED

[Maera's]

Maera nods, going to hug her again.

"Definitely. And do you mind inviting her over next time you see her, if she seems like she'd be up for it? I'd like to meet her."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She hugs back, nodding.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera smiles happily, snuggling against her friend.

[Beans]

"Okay. What do you want to know?"

Maera nods.

"Ah. I see... Would you mind giving me a summary of what you already know?"

[Beans]

[Maera's]
Her summary is basically this: she understands that people get into romantic relationships and it's complicated and she has the capability (probably) to get into one herself.
That's about all she knows.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera sighs, and settles in for a long session of teaching; she'll be a fairly good instructor, clearly explaining things, and patiently answering any questions Eo has.

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She nods, seeming pretty interested.
I AM NOW MORE CONFIDENT ABOUT THIS IDEA

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera grins, stretching, and goes to hug her.

"Good. That was the whole point, so... Yeah."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She smiles unsurely, nodding.
HOWEVER I MUST ADMIT THAT I AM UNSURE AS TO MY FEELINGS TOWARD MISS KALLISTA

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera shrugs.

"That's what dating her is for, really. I mean, obviously you know you like her, or you wouldn't be interested at all, but figuring out if you actually want to be in a relationship is sort of the whole point."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She nods, thinking that over.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Maera's]

Maera smiles, snuggling close and letting her friend think.

Maera smiles, going to lay a hand on Eo's belly as well.
