[Lady Serpentine]

Talina hisses in surprise when Polliwopple flips the knife at the pixie, and tries to catch it with the same sort of magic she used on the gnome earlier; should it work, the knife will then be reversed so that it slams into the table in front of him.

"Nycca, get him out of here before he ends up getting hurt."

Her voice is icy, with a dangerous edge to it.

[Beans]

Nycca pats Talina's shoulder.
Calm down, it's going to be fine once we get going.
Polliwopple, please be careful with pointy murder objects before you pointily murder someone.
She yanks the knife from the table and holds it out to the pixie, handle toward him.

[Dark Elf Bard]

I was giving th' knife to him! Grrr!

The gnome grows very red and he hunches over with his coffee.

Frickin' mage is insane.

[Lady Serpentine]

"You're throwing knives at people, and I'm the one who's insane?"

Talina sounds rather incredulous.

[Dark Elf Bard]

The gnome whips back up and stares at Talina, eyes blazing.

It's called giving it t' someone when you're not a big lanky wannabe healer like yerself!

[Beans]

Nycca's wings, half-opened, close with a leathery snap.
Okay, you are going to stop right there.
Infighting will not only get us nowhere, it's almost guaranteed to get us all very, very dead very fast.
If you can't stop, then it's safer for everyone if you don't join us on our expedition.

I'll stop when a- when she dun't use her crazy weak magic t' stop me from giving a dagger t' someone!

[Lady Serpentine]

Talina stiffens, glaring at the gnome; Nycca is probably aware that her girlfriend takes being a healer quite seriously, and that Polliwopple is probably going to be in considerable danger if she doesn't do something to stop the sorceress from going after him.

Nycca sighs and stands.
... Okay, this is getting ridiculous.
Polliwopple, I'm sorry, but for your safety and the sake of the expedition overall, I can't in good conscience let you accompany us.
She braces herself for the metric helltons of fuss that are about to be kicked up.

Meli tries hard not to giggle silently at Louis' heroic puffing, which looks quite silly to the bear-pawed, lion-footed Elf. Mulling over the information, Meli writes a careful reply, having a slight difficulty supporting the notepad without dropping the cloak.

"Your world sounds amazing, it must be great to live in a world with such heroic people. Even if the military is strict."

Meli shudders suddenly, Elven eye going back to a time previously forgotten, but quickly smiles again. No need to worry Louis about amnesia drama.

Lewis shakes his head, replying with optimism and a humble smile. Or as humble a smile as a happy-go-lucky Pixie can manage

"Not as of yet. I am grateful for a spare gun or pike, but I am fine with none-"

Suddenly, the Pixie seems to vanish in the thin air. Though, the Pixie's voice speaks still, adding a dramatic inflection to its words.

"My sleeve is not all empty without."

EDIT: (Sorry, did not spot the new page)

The knife causes Lewis to tilt the chair back to catch it better, looking quite comical as the Pixie turned invisible right before. The knife's sudden change of direction causes the Pixie to fall off the chair in surprise instead, however.

"Oops."

Getting up and returning to the seen, Lewis does not get a word in on the argument yet.

Talina calms somewhat at Nycca's words; she's still angry, but not a direct threat to Polliwopple anymore.

In any case, she stays quiet for now, knowing that her girlfriend is probably more reasonable at the moment.

Abraxes merely smiles, as the excitable gnome sobers himself. "I would think that it's because you've done nothing except insult us and throw a knife at our pixie here -" He motions to Lewis. "But, of course, it's not my room to decide." The half-orc flags down a barmaid, getting a glass of mead.

Because you have consistently displayed that I can't trust you not to instigate and escalate needless bickering that will very likely lead to negative consequences for the group as a whole.
I'm sorry, but it would be irresponsible for me to allow you on this venture.
She recognizes his "dangerously calm" tone as the kind often used by people about to do something rash---if not extremely dangerous to them and others.
Additionally, if you're thinking of doing something disruptive, I would advise, y'know, not doing that.

Polliwopple tenses and draws a dagger. Why I oughta- He raises it up towards Nycca's stomach

And he falls over, frozen!

Grandfather! Another svirfneblin rushes in, this one a young woman! The gnome has long, dark hair and wears a pink-and-white robe. She seems to have just frozen her apparent grandfather.

Oh, I thought I told you to tell the nice adventurers that I'm interested! She tut-tuts him and looks up. I'm terribly sorry. He gets erratic when he has too much coffee, and oh look! She takes out a full bottle of small pills. He didn't even take the medicine!. Did he cause you any trouble?

Polliwopple the Frozen may find himself flying up towards the rafters, though he won't actually quite impact them.

"Considerable. Can he still hear in this state?"

Besides generally being impossible to deal with, there is the fact that he intended to gut me, so yeah. He's been pretty troublesome.
I don't think you should ever, ever, ever let him near anything sharper than a ladle ever again, by the way.

Undoubtedly because he starts being somewhere else.

When he returns this time around he has a hat made completely out of giant dragonfly wings. And his Fedora is tucked under his arm along with his recently acquired croquet mallet.

"Well that was kind of creepy. A culture using the Boo Box from Hook as punishment? Huugh... so many crawly things..."

He removes the insect-related hat and replaces it with his own. No sooner do his eyes leave the winged hat does it fly off and burst in a cloud of large blow flies.

Louis nods in agreement. "I certainly like it. Maybe I'll show it to you somtime," he offers. He notices the shuddering, and doesn't want to make a big deal of it, but the protector in him has to ask. "Are you alright?"

At the adventure table, Justin doesn't say much. If Poliwopple can't play nice, he cant play with the others. He's personally just hoping a fight doesn't start. That'd be inauspicious.

[Tesla_pasta]

The dreamer's timing is, to say the least, unfortunate. Unless someone is particularly fast with a counter-spell or ward, the roof above The Dreamer explodes in a roar of sound. Through it falls the half-ettin, no longer drunk, yet still very incapacitated, due to the fact that Landon seems to have knocked himself out with his new spell. He is having a very bad week.

The Half-ettin plummets toward the aforementioned Dreamer, Brian screaming the entire way.

Nycca sighs.
It's...
Okay-ish, I guess, seeing as nobody actually got killed yet.

Meli nods and smiles reassuringly while responding.

"I think very much that I am. I was surprised by remembering something."

Meli writes and tries to brush it off. While it clearly is not traumatic, Meli is poor at hiding that it was not the happiest memory.

Alarmed at the Svirfneblin's sudden attack. Lewis mouth moves in the first rhymes of a spell. Not a powerful one, but one that would have caused a matchfire to strike Polliwopple's hand. Interrupted by the heroic grandchild, Lewis quickly cuts off the spell with a cough.

"-T'which I aspi*Ahem* Some trouble, but no ill will to you for that."

Preparing to cheerfully reassure the young gnome, Lewis sees the flinch. Distracted, the Pixie quickly looks around. A worried look on the cheerful face.

"Not a good sign, almost hope it is a curse again."

Lewis mumbles in a nearly inaudible voice.

"I bet you mean set, not drop, yes? But in that case, tell him that if he ever tries to go after Nycca again, he's likely to end up an ice sculpture.

And don't worry about it. Not your fault he was insane."

Is the um... offer still open? I'm a healer, and I was um, wondering If I could come with you to Thunderhead Mountain? The gnome looks extremely embarrassed.

[Beans]

... Yeah... the more people capable of healing we have, the better, most likely.

[Dark Elf Bard]

Thank you! I really... thanks! I can... yes! The young gnome gives Nycca a hug in thanks!

The more people? Is there someone else?

[Lady Serpentine]

Talina lifts her hand slightly, smiling at the young gnome.

"That would be me."

[Dark Elf Bard]

Oh good! I'm not very skilled yet. Teacher got into a fight With Grandfather a few years ago, and he hasn't woken up yet.

Biting her lip, the girl walks over to Polliwopple presses on his chest, mutters a few words, and he vanishes.

I've been trying to find a new Teacher, but no one likes gnomes around here.

Well, as soon as I talk to her---she points to Rhyan, who is deadtimed---we'll be ready to go.
