Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Pretty sure we wouldn't have been going for two bandwagons each time if a tie meant a double lynch.
I personally thought a tie would mean a no-lynch, or at least a wait for a tiebreaker vote.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
First person to reach the tie is usually the one lynched in most games. This unexpected ruling probably wouldn't have hurt as much if EK wasn't the baner.
Of course, if we're allowed to lynch 2 people every day, I can also see the huge benefits that could arise late game provided the seer lives long enough.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Mod Note: I'm currently working out how to continue forward with the lynching issue I caused (I'm sorry again ) so there will be a slight delay until the next Day Phase starts while I get this worked out.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
I would say we just go to the normal rule: Tie means no lynch. Yeah it sucks EK and Murska both kicked the bucket, but I'm willing to bet worse things have happened.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Actually the normal rule that I've seen is that ties mean the first person to reach it is the one lynched.
Unless things have changed heavily since I've been gone.

Hm. In my experience it was usually a no-lynch.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
I'd agree with just continuing on with the standard lynch rules although I'd suggest that a random villager be given the baner role.
That wouldn't bring EK back but at least it'd minimise the impact the rule had especially if Murska's lynch was actually influenced by something more than an educated guess.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Night 5 End!Eldritch Knight was killed! He was the Baner!
The run in with the werewolf that day had left Eldritch Knight exposed and bleeding, with deep claw marks in his chest. The town kept a rotation, braving the storm which had started up again and the threat of the other wolves to tend to him, though still traveling in pairs. His bandages were changed regularly, but he was in a critical condition.
Toward the witching hour he awoke with a start, fumbling for a second in his bed, eyes adjusting to the firelight. A figure above him, still blurry, helped him sip some water for a second, clearing his throat, before the figure went to return to a seat in front of the fire.
"Wait." Eldritch Knight said, causing his assistant to freeze. He cleared his throat. "I need to tell you something."
The assistant was at his side in an instant, dripping a wet cloth on his face. "You almost died today... You need your rest. Speak quick; what is it?"
"The location to the Wolfsbane, I keep a private garden. Please, you have to protect the village from the wolves."
"Oh we know about the wolfbane."
"You do? That's great!" Eldritch Knight stammered, gripping his wound.
"Yes, we do." The assistant stated, looking down at Eldritch Knight with a cruel smile.
"N-No. H-!"

I too am suspicious of
Fleeing Coward. Could the reasoning used on Murska also be used on Fleeing Coward, or have I not been around long enough to understand the reasoning?Last edited by 52.5 Lemons; 2012-09-04 at 11:09 PM.

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Okay, considering that there's no way they'd have been able to target me, given the previous lynching, am I to understand that you've done it this way to restore balance?

Re: Classic Werewolf: The Village of Vilcas
Alright, since being circumspect clearly worked out so well last time...we'll try things a different way today. DiscipleofBob is a wolf.
@v good choice. I think Atreyu's a wolf too, but don't know for sure yet.

DiscipleofBob is already making fishing posts in response.
Note, this is different from fishy posts, which most fishing posts are inherently anyways.Last edited by Reinholdt; 2012-09-04 at 07:25 PM.

DiscipleofBob for the seer check and probable wolfiness.
Being a mime means never having to say you're sorry.

Well, since a couple of people think that DiscipleofBob is a wolf and at least one of them helped lynch Murska.

Seer claims must be tested in blood, per tradition and common sense, so down with the Disciple of Bob!

What? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
What? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I think my logic for pointing at EK was completely valid. Its not like Alarra contacted me and said "hey don't vote for EK" even though she has my cell, my IM, my Gmail chat, my Facebook, my GITP PM Box and my physical mailing address as means of contacting me.
Also, I'm voting for Reinholdt for killing me in Alan Wake, WW.Last edited by Atreyu the Masked LLama; 2012-09-04 at 10:37 PM.
