"Just to make sure you know... I want to make it clear that if we do find her, I'm still going to stay with you, if there's any way at all we can make things work out for everyone, and possibly even if we can't. Okay?"

Carrie reads over her shoulder and smiles.

After about a week and a half, they've found her; she's living as a museum correspondent specializing in weaponry, and Aseti (presumably still trying to get her to come home) is living with her.

Karyana seems rather nervous once they do, but, as soon as is reasonable for them to, so probably the next weekend, heads to Zwei's house.

She doesn't say a single thing, she just stares, not understanding what she's seeing.

Carrie gently nudges Karyana forward.

Zwei ~~calmly answers~~ okay nobody would believe that for a minute. This is a Beans post, so of course she bawls her eyes out while Carrie goes inside to wake Aseti up and get a pot of tea on.

Karyana goes to gently carry her over to the couch or somewhere else that she can sit down, still holding her as close as she can, and stroking her hair, whispering comforting things in the ex(?)-deathknight's ear as she does.

She eventually calms down enough to rub her eyes, smile weakly, and sip the tea Carrie and Aseti have laid out for them.
