Default Winter Lord 3.5 PRC (PEACH)

Sitting on the edge of civilization an aloof warlord gazes over his snowy domain. His chilled council consists of the hardiest of creatures, cunning disregarded for the power needed to survive the harsh artic enviorments. All look to him, without a word the Winter Lord raises his arms and a great blizzard begins plaguing a nearby town. They had best brace themselves. Winter is coming.

The herald of winter a Winterlord serves the whims of nature or their diety. Their only true friends are those strong enough to survive the harsh enviorments of Winter.

To qualify to be a Winterlord the character must have the following prerequisites.

    Feats: Storm Magic (Frostburn)

Control weather is a 7th level spell. So you could get in this PrC at level 14. The Knowledge(Nature) makes sense, but 8 ranks is a drop in the bucket at this level. Something that WotC didn't realize, which is generally regarded as good homebrew sense:

Don't give 1/day abilities, also, passive abilities are fine, but active ones are more fun. Your fluff is quite awesome, and you get points for using a table(Thank you), but Winter's Herald is the only thing I would be able to do at that level. Also, gaining the cold subtype is both good and bad. Just give immunity to Cold, that way it doesn't come with the vulnerability to fire. The damage on winter's herald needs to be adjusted for level 14. 1d6/round isn't much. Especially if you lose a caster level for this PrC.

Yeah I thought the best feature of the class was the benefit to conjuration and the domain. The capstone isn't impressive enough for a late game prc. Good advice

Yeah, I would suggest throwing in Natural Armor or DR from having frozen skin or something, maybe give them snowcasting as a bonus feat. Remember, you lose a whole caster level for this class, it ought to be good.
