Blake sees the crab-like Pokemon and says, "Alright, Celeste, hit it with Pursuit!" The Umbreon nods in reply, rushing at the red creature swiftly and striking at it with dark-shrouded claws.

Mueki:
The beam with the pokémon is about 20ft up. Mueki's assurance of safety does little to calm the scared pokémon.
SpoilerYou can try again with a more appropriate method on the Dex check, or find some other means of coaxing it down on it's own.
Blake:
Celeste's claws dig into the crab for 20 damage. Injured, but not out of the fight yet, clamps it's claw onto Celeste, inflicting 17 points of damage.
SpoilerDamage includes Celeste's defenses.

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Blake scowls as the crab clamps its claw onto Celeste, and quickly scans it before flinging a Pokeball at it. Watching the ball, he says, "If I don't catch it, Celeste, then tackle it!"
SpoilerBlake will attempt to capture it with a Basic Ball. Should that fail, Celeste will use Tackle.
Blake: Basic Ball - Capture Attempt: (1d100+5)[103]
If Capture Attempt is unsuccessful:

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Mueki bit her lip as she watched the Pokemon panic on the beam. She hops down and starts looking through her mount's saddlebags, searching for something to entice the Pokemon down with. She pulls out some miscellaneous rations and her cookware and begins to prepare a simple meal for the Pokemon, knowing by the set of it's jaw that it was omnivorous.
Fetching some seaweed from the nearby coast, she combines it with some Karp Jerky (not edible for humans) and random seasonings to make a dish that would hopefully entice the 'mon down. She looks up, snack in hand. "C'mon sweetie, come down. I've got some tasty food..." Mueki climbs back up on the Ryhorn to help the Pokemon climb down, holding the treat up.
SpoilerI use my Soul Food feature (which is technically a Trainer Action to use), taking 100 of my money in ingredients. Although I can't identify Pokemon, I can automatically tell what a Pokemon eats with my Home Cooking feature.

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Blake:
The pokéball misses the crab, breaking on the ground behind it. Seeing that the capture attempt fails, Celeste rams her body into it for 14 damage. Rather than counterattack, the crab takes a defensive stance.
SpoilerCrab used Harden. +1 Defense stage.
Mueki:
Mueki's pokémon food seems to calm the pokémon slightly, but it is not enough to coax it down.
Dave:
As he looks around, Dave spots Mueki trying to coax down a purplish worm-like pokémon off of a broken support beam.

Dave scans the mon as he approaches and says "aww poor little thing it must have been stuck up there since the boardwalk collapsed. Is there anything I can do to help?" he looks up at the broken top of the support to see if it would be safe to fly the rope over it so they can use the rhyhorn to pull/lift someone up to the mon

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Watching the water Pokemon for a moment, Blake says, "It's going on the defensive... well, let's try this again, shall we?" He pulls out one more Pokeball and flings it at the crab Pokemon, saying, "If this doesn't work, Celeste, take it down!" The Umbreon watches intently, prepared to rush at the opposing Pokemon if it breaks free of the Pokeball again.
SpoilerBlake will attempt to capture it once more. If the capture attempt fails, Celeste uses tackle again.

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Mueki went back to her saddlebags, a little annoyed that the food didn't work. "Argh... food usually works." She rummages a little before pulling out her poncho. "Come on, hold half of this." She holds it out in a manner to use it as a net.
After Dave acquiesces, she spreads it, making a safe surface for the Dratini to jump onto. "Come on sweetie, jump! It's safe!"

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Collin:
Collin does not notice anything unusual himself, but he was with Dave, who he does see go over to help Mueki, who he would not have otherwise located.
Dave:
As far as you can tell, the support seems strong enough to hold should someone try to use a rope to climb up. However, if the support were to be pulled down, it seems likely that the pokémon could be injured, and possibly cause more structural damage.
Blake:
The ball manages to hit the crab, as intended, and absorbs the pokémon inside it. The ball shakes quite a bit, and just as Blake is certain it was going to break open, the ball indicates the capture as a success.

Re: PTA: Dusk Island (IC)
Mueki set the net down gently before going forward and hugging the Dratini. "I was so worried... are you okay?" She looked into the Pokemon's eyes, tearing up slightly. "It's dangerous out here all by yourself... you want to come with me? I'll protect you."

Mueki registers a Pokeball to the Dragon before re-releasing him, allowing him to curl about her shoulders in Matowaritsuku's normal spot. "Sound good to me. We should look for that hotel." Mueki starts to search down the beach, still thinking the hotel was probably near the coast.

As you travel along the beach, Blake rejoins the group. Shortly after, Mueki spots the hotel you're looking for. From the outside, the hotel looks undamaged.

Mureki looks at Collin curiously, wondering why he was knocking on the door to a large hotel. She didn't say anything however, instead peering at he roof, trying to find a lookout or something to signal. Ooraku snorted from his position under her while Murasaki nervously tightened around her shoulders.

There is no answer to Collin's knock. Those trying to look inside see no immediate signs of movement, and Dave counts at least five floors, though the current level of light makes it hard to tell exactly how many there are.
